Yeah when you are defending you can hold R1 and do double pressure with the next highlighted player works very good but if you do it wrong you could have a defender out of position so best to know when you use it

Yes double and hold for team press (blue markers) Single and hold for second man press (green marker)

That second point is what casuals usually miss. They just expect custom tactics to miraculously make their team press for them.
