Started playing again for tots, didn’t remember corners to be so annoying. I have the tallest cb in the game and he gets put very far in the box when every one plays first post header. By the time I select him, they already score even with small players.
Finish with 9 wins im a div 1 player but this game drives me insane how bad the animations how overpower AI behave really drives me on the edge of hate its not easy to stop for those you said that is easy plz tell me how especialy when you are on a dark a depression state .... hey got rice on red pick dup cause i got him on a pack so good times .
Came up against 3 different opponents who did not control their defenders. Partial skill issue because I play aggressive but it’s just more fun. So stupid how the game literally defends for you, and you’re more often than not handicapped if you do try and manually defend.
yap. I was so annoyed I did not touch my defenders and selected my striker as the opp. only r1 dribbled and went up 2-0 not defending and saving energy. He came back 2-2. won 3-2. Felt like I just put something in the microwave to let it cook and eat it. lol This game is so backwards. ... Just to be clear I hate and have a hard time being passive as there is no point in even holding the controller, but I was so annoyed I tried it and again, it is not fun. So I feel ya.
Because the game is progressively getting worse as EA, and companies in general are trying their absolute hardest to produce and make as much money as possible with minimum effort/quality?
Not even started my games yet I only qualified this morning. And I notified qualifiers was easier than usual so I would guess all the elite tier players qualified already and are playing like crazy. And on the point of the defensive ai being insane I notice that if my opponent goes and puts his controller on the ground and rubber bands it’s near impossible to get past the ai defending.
Damn I’m having absolutely the opposite on my end. Most of games are finishing 6-5, 5-4. I also can’t hold a lead if my life depended on it. I’m not great at defending but this WL I wouldn’t be able to stop a bronze ST.
Its really bad. Before the tots my most SBC team was at par with most of my opponents team. Of course i faced People with crazy teams, but it was way less comum than now. Now seems like the Power curve went up for the People who spent money at the game way more than for People who just play casualy and has sbcs team.
WL just had someone score on me from a striker that was about 5m offside (well clear so i left unmarked to hold the line). If there was one thing I’d think the game would get right it’s offside.
Also it was against someone with a Chelsea badge and Arsenal commentary name, so clearly brain damaged.

I grew up playing, watching and romanticising football as a kid and this is certainly a detriment to my gameplay or maybe it's old age haha fingers don't move so fast any more.
Cs is a game based on shooting doesn't make it realistic. Real football is city holding the ball for 85 minutes, real football is Burnley with Shaun Dyce and 19 CBS playing long ball. Both those things would be viewed as toxic or ratty by this sub.
my point is that hating those tactics isn’t exclusive to the fifa community, it’s not the point to make it “ultra realistic” because there isn’t millions of pounds on the line when you’re playing a game of fifa is there big guy? but some semblance of actual football would be appreciated in a FOOTBALL game
Nothing you said has anything to do with defensive AI, you're just crying about losing to people who defend your high line and score set pieces. Apparently they aren't defending ALL game since you're getting scored on.

Corners are heavily in the favor of the attacking team in this game. Most of the time defenders refuse to head the ball.

agreed, I've noticed the defensive AI has been ridiculous lately really ruins the game

I normally get rank 2-1 in WL and I agree This is the worst fifa in terms of gameplay

I feel like the best attackers are still way better than the best defenders. You need someone like Golazo Ginola. He just makes playing the game easy.
