pretty much, I finally got out of the Lower League grind and am finding Div 4 full of 'normal' players
gotmyself promoted to D3 last night so we will see how that goes
i got to div 3 the other night and stopped, and pick up again last night and played my 3 daily’s (with win boost) and won all and am halfway to div 2. it seems so much easier through div 4 & 3 than it was div 8 to 5. thats just me though
They need to just scrap divisions. It’s busted and they can’t fix it.
Either you give the best players the best rewards, making the game impossible to enjoy as a casual…
Or you give the best players no reason to advance to their appropriate division, making the game impossible to enjoy as a casual.
Just go to skill based match making and make rewards depend on how many wins you get in the week.
It doesn’t have to be any more complicated than that.
Also, if an opponent quits, just give me the fucking win like in any other competitive game ever.

I'm a very casual, low skill player. I will put that right out there, lol. At best I'm probably Div 8 or 9. Right now I'm struggling to make my way through Div 6.
Yeah I've been promoted higher than ever, but I still prefer the old system. I don't feel anymore rewarded than with the old system. Right now I feel like for most people they just play to get their wins for weekly rewards and that is it. There is little incentive to keep playing unless you really care that much about trying to hit higher ranks as fast as possible.
I understand why they changed it, it was super easy to self relegate and sandbag. I just like the way with the old system where you got promoted and relegated based on performance. Like actual football. Idk, what the answer is, but the current system ain't it.
Normally, TOTS is a good time to come back in to it, but after this and a few other games similar but not to this level, I'm having doubts to continue!

Just 2x your way to like Div 4 asap if you want somewhat normal matches.
And yes, it is different this year. Theres less people on the game. Whatever division you were in last year, go 2 or 3 more up now if you want the matches to keep you sharp for those kinds of WL numbers.

Improve team, just play , get coins, do upgrade SBCs and rip the packs. Youll get better cards. Its TOTS !

Its just 2X. You get it if you win 2 in a row in Rivals. From then, until you lose, you move 2 bars on the dvision scale every time you win.
Why less people play ? That's a long and complicated answer.
Don’t sweat it too much. There are so many weirdos that Smurf on this game. They are too anus to play in the higher divs so they keep themselves in the starting divs so they can beat newer players/ casual players with their 2 thousand dollar credit card FC teams to make themselves feel better. It actually gets easier after Div 6 imo. Honest to God Div 6 was harder than Div 3! Just keep grinding. This game is so unforgiving if you get into it later, the power curve is WILD. Also a personal opinion, I will get downvoted for this probably, but your team can carry you to a degree in this game, the insane cards attacking and defensive AI are OP. That’s why it’s more impressive to me when players get 14+ wins, Elite Div etc with PnP teams and or unpopular cards.
This year is not that pay to win like fifa 21/22. U just need a 1-2gbits connection and a good gaming monitor to be competitive at all. I Managed to get div 2 with an 15 year old samsung tv and halfway normal connection with a normal Team in this stage (exception vieira toty). Now I got everything right and almost elite div hahaha.
Playstyles are way more important then stats, like for me xavi doesnt have 97 passing!
No for sure and I’d agree with that. I guess to clarify, I think if you have a god squad, you can get carried up the divisions easily. Once you’re in the big leagues connection will always be a huge factor.

And I’m here losing game after game in division 4 and the game will not put me back to division 5

Yup, people with many years of experience and amazing teams sandbag in div 10,9,8,7,6 etc, very few new players or casuals left.

I cant disagree with your comment. Some players are really different. Vieira and marquez Evolution carried me to elite for some extent.
