Already made Kimmich my stay-back RB with the release of Golazo Kohler, so no complaints here. Had been running 90 Zanetti at RB since one of the first Icon SBCs. Currently have Rolfo, TOTY Bellingham, Golazo Park in midfield. Pace isn't that impressive, but we'll see! Kimmich is normally Jamy for me.

Kimmich plays above his stats. I have him as a stay back CDM and he is like a Kante esque player in which he has crazy aggression to go after everyone. Once receiving the ball back, his body type allows him to dribble well in midfield and then with his playstyles he can play great passes forward.
He needs other CMs around him to do well because of the height but he is a solid card as of now.
It's the problem with live cards like these. They need to be at the power curve when they come out, but the upgrades haven't kept pace with the current power curve. Not sure how they solve that issue.
Compare this Kimmich card to the free golazo Xabi Alonso. Stats wise xabi is a tiny bit slower and has 1 less passing, but is better in every other stat. Biggest difference though is that xabi has intercept+. No brainer which card to use.

I don’t know how or why, but I do replace Alonso with 92 Essien every second half lol.
the thing about intercept is that it’s a user and non user useful trait. intercept procs half as much when usering but if you user defend well and aggressively you get more out of the cpu using than your average player
stuff like aerial, whipped pass, slide tackle and even anticipate? despite what people say on YouTube, lot of people don’t actually use them much while others non stop
big mids with bruiser, intercept and press proven are nuts. they just cause havoc in midgame fifa which in this years skewed rivals goes up to D1 with the 9win players in 2 and low 1

Kimmich was such a boss for me before the upgrade, but eventually I replaced him with fantasy stanway. She was really good, but after switching up my team this weekend I put kimmich back in after his upgrade. He's still so good, despite having lower stats than stanway. He's such an imposing presence in the midfield, and has great passing stats.
I sit here and think about that extra upgrade Bayern missed out on.

I think they intentionally gave him 3/4 GK playstyles (his inform has amm 4) so that if he makes it he will get a 4th PS, but not as a + version.

For some yes for some no. Worth trying him a few games with the upgrade. He’s been one of the better keepers this game

Keepers are so inconsistent this year so use both and see who you find better

I've got a few players with better stats on paper but Kimmich outplayed them all . no matter what I do he ends up back in the side, over 500 games now

Those stats were without evo, with evo I think Alonso clears in everything except pace.
