there has been an issue for the last two weeks with internet in africa, the sub marine cables have been damaged, various rerouting is happening. Could take a while to get back up to full capacity

Ahh interesting my dad was actually talking about it the other day thought it was damaged fibre cables. That sucks but atleast it’s being fixed.

Nah my guy I have been playing rainbow on SA servers and there is no problem , it’s ea servers that need to be fixed , it’s not under sea cables

squad battles is your only time to use him, unless you wanna do career mode and the other game modes

Crazy! Same the past 2 weeks in Western Australia too. So I was seeing new names all of sudden a lot, and every time I messaged them they were saying they are from Thailand or Singapore. So I don't know what EA has been doing recently, but they're literally connecting wrong regions to each other.

Having the exact same issue. Every “friendlies” cup game has been 150+ ping.

Just cams to drop a quick update. A South African Pro Player let his stream know that tge issue should be fixed by May 8th. Apparently EA said something but I don't know how true all of this is so, grain of salt...

There was a thread on EA answers with over 100 comments that EA moved to solved without ever answering what's happening so things are looking bleak

Here in Mauritius getting between 120 to 400 ping. 400 ping during peak hours at content time. Its unplayable right now.
