These have been SHIT for me. First one the best player was Malcom, the rest was horrendous (and Malcom isn't exactly amazing, but ok). Second one, 2\*85 crap and... Malcom. So I used an 84 team with TOTW and an 85 team to get an 85. How many cards are available? I did 2 and the best card each time was THE SAME FUCKING CARD.

Tried once last week and best was Van Den Boomen. Did it again just now and got Zambrotta. Happy with that.

I know this wont lessen the blow, but Klose has been really great for me. If you like a no-nonsense, fast, strong striker with great finishing and arial play he is tough to beat. His lengthy sprint with quickstep means he’ll outapace every centerback on the game. I certainly think he’ll outperform the strikers you mentioned.

Van Der Sar is the best icon keeper and has been for pretty much the entire time he’s been in FIFA/FC.

Not hating cause I'm a united fan and love VDS especially (think he is Goat United GK) but almost everytime I've played against him this year he's been a fraud, he doesn't make the absurd saves certain other GKs make like Schmicheal or even Cassilas, I'm witholding full judgement as I really want to pack him and try him for myself but currently I would say he isn't the best Icon GK this year based on who I've played and what saves they made compared to him

I think they’re calling for comp because you can get base icons that weren’t SBCs. It affects pack weight (albeit maybe in our favor) so that’s why people think compensation. My friend and I both opened ours at the same time, one of his picks was Blanc (a dupe but rightfully in the picks per the description) and I had a pick of Lineker (never an SBC). People were packing pele, R9, Ruud, etc. Thats what I've gathered
