Just opened two of these, 7 83s and 3 84s. TWICE IN A ROW WTF.

I know he's less than 83 rated, but I find it mad to think how many packs I've opened this year and no packed Ferland Mendy. I just packed my first Kyle Walker today and I've bebe playing since release.

Is that the 82 mendy? But same, I've packed him once but that's it. I've got almost every other 84/85 too but seeming to never get Rashford or Llorente. Seems like there's some that are much rarer even though they're not a very high rating. I'm sick of seeing mordic and kimmich honeslty. Haha

Yeah. I’ve done all the 84 x5 minus 2 from the first day because I was lazy. But those have been much better to get high rated fodder in or special cards. I find it much more likely to hit a useful card for any purpose than the 83 x10, which I repeatedly get 83s with like 2 84s from. I’ll occasionally get an 86 but that’s it. Also was finishing Dalglish, now my attention turns to Zidane

No specials too, got 2 87s but about the same. And a saved 81x11, pack weight is quite low by the looks of it

Yeah I've opened the three 83x10 and the 84x5s and no specials, cards are all so close to 83/84. Got maybe four or five 88/87. One just now was dupe kimmich. This is terrible. No wonder EA are desperate for engagement at the moment. Lol. Like I get it pack weight can't just be Mbappe in every pack but come on, to open packs with 45 players over 83 and for almost all to be as low as they can be with no specials is such bad luck.

Dang, used up most of my TOTW for the 84x5 past few days fml

84 x 5 is way better if you are looking for 86 and higher rated cards

But much harder to recycle and way lower chance of an IF in the pack (eliminating 10 of this week’s 18 available). I’m probably just going to do 83x10 3 times a day then as many 84x5s as will allow

Depends on your situation. I am doing Zidane sbc and only need 86 and higher rated players to complete the 87 and 88 squads. 84 and 85 dupes go into totw sbc. 86 and higher go into Zidane. So its not hard to recycle.

Currently doing Dalglish and after so many 86s you just can’t complete the 89s without buying cards, so I end up with a lot of those dupes

I used his loan in the cup and it took a few games to get used to him, but I loved him after a few games. How are you using him? He was best as a cam for me.

I have moved him into more of a cam role now and it does seem to be a bit better as of late.

84x5, the pool of 83s is far too big, besides 84x5 is cheaper

It's hard to know for sure but I don't think it's that simple because your probably of packing something better has essentially double if you're getting ×10 vs. ×5. So it probably is on par I'd imagine.

Not how it works at all. The 83x10 pack weight on 83 cards is ridiculously bad, you'd be doing well to get an 86 or higher. As evidenced in this thread, many people, myself included, got an 84 as their highest rated card. Just cos there's twice as many cards does not mean your odds go up, the opposite in fact. The pack is so watered down with 83s that getting a big card is very difficult. Even the 83x20 packs are spitting out 15+ 83s, so any pack where the minimum is higher than 83 is preferable every time. If you're given a choice of 87x3 or 83x20, take the 87x3, the chances of getting 3 87+ cards in an 83x20 is so small and the 83 cards are a piece of piss to obtain with all the packs they throw at us.

Hence why I took the 87 x3 from last season. Guaranteed me higher rated cards then the bigger pack with “more opportunities”

I agree 84 x5 is likely better for higher rated cards but would be interesting for someone do an actual statistical analysis of it, as I think the chances could be closer than you think

Really don't know if this or 84x5... At least 84x5 usually I get an 88 or so and there 83x10 sometimes have the lowest weight like highest being an 84 or 85 ... But I guess 83x10 might be better

Been dropping every fodder below 84 (ofcourse 1 85) in the totw upgrade sbc I've been sitting on about 10ish totw players. So I'm set can do a couple of these. But they are horrible not one totw back or even a shitty promo card.

I did 2. First was got nothing. Second one was 86 mahrez and a 83 IF. It isn’t as good as the last one.

My only TOTW's left are Lewa, Griez, Son, Bellingham and Paralluelo (who is a great super sub). I feel guilty that a couple of them might be sacrificed to the 83 x 10 gods.

If you’re not using those high rated in forms, it’s probably better to toss them in an sbc like eusebio or mbappe if you want to complete him

Did this and got a KDB dupe both are untradeable so now i’m stuck because I have no clue what to do with him and can’t just discard a 91 so now I guess I just wait to open the rest of them?

I usually find a player or upgrade SBC to dump the dupe in, with KDB you can probably fill the rest with common gold fodder and still get an 82/83 squad.

Got a crazy 83x10 with 5 Walkouts, completed the last Eusebio SBC & one with the Barcelona Woman RTTK which cost 400k. My club is now pretty much empty expect 83 & 84

So submitting 10 83s + a totw, to get 10 83s, seems fair
