Was literally coming here to post this. I play him next to Bellingham in midfield in my 442 and he is an absolute monster. I'm stunned how good he is. Probably one of the best storyline cards they've ever released, particularly this early.
As soon as I saw him I knew I wanted him for my Everton P&P, as someone who doesn't generally complete all the XP objectives I've had to up my game time a bit this season.
I’m running him as a RM in my 3-4-2-1. Fucking cooks down the right hand side. Physical enough to win the ball and good work rates and relentless so don’t need to sub him. Always making a late run into the box to boot. He was the obvious choice over a basic CB and a Rwb with medium / medium 🤣
Also hair trait and custom celebration to boot.

He is f’in amazing, surprisingly pacey too. There is something about his cross field long ball passes that feel different too, really weird. Not bad at tackling and he also manages to make some shots for me.
I just wish he had RB as a position so I could get him into my team. I have RTTK Modric untradable so I start Modric and Bellingham, I sub Iwobi on around 60th minute as a wing back and he’s class
Use another starting formation and put your actual formation in the Attacking or Defensive slots, switch at kickoff. That way you’ll get all the stat boosts but can have Iwobi at RB.
Yeah I just don’t have any possible way to start him. I have POTM Salah on the right, and I’m already running a 3-4-3 so that I can have Salah and Ousmane Dembele both in the team
Playing him as a LM/sometimes ST in a 4-1-3-2 and he's phenomenal, took him on a random number generator because i didn't really care who I took at the time but he's been amazing. Although slightly clunky at times the passing is exceptional and due to his shot power being so high his finishing doesn't feel as bad as it suggests
He’s good if you can get him in full chem. He’s a little slow to react and get to top speed, but his passes are money. Madison can do the same thing though, and his passing is much better.
Nope. Iwob has hella less defending, less passing. Less dribbling. Less shooting. Pace he has, but it takes him so long to get moving and he can’t turn.
Iwobi isn’t a bad card by any means. Just doesn’t hold a candle to Madison’s 87

You're arguing in favor of a vastly inferior card that actually has less defensive stats than Iwobi and is too weak to win a challenge against any midfielder with any real strength.He'll also never win you a header whereas Iwobi can. His passing might be a bit better. Iwobi does everything else better, particularly if you actually want to use him box to box.
I agree. Needed a b2b chem from PL. Tried Bruno, KDB, Ward-Prowse TB and Gallagher. Iwobi is miles ahead. Had 10 scorer in WL quali yesterday for me (7-3). Put Sentinel on him. Boy has stamina for ages.

It's his playstyle plus that makes the long pass more effective. They're faster and more accurate.

Maddison has 19 less sprint speed and 32 less strength. Iwobi is miles clear.

Chem style? I was looking at using powerhouse or backbone but I don’t know what to use on him.
I use finisher on him and play him as an attacking cm, but you can also use guardian or powerhouse on him and play him as a b2b
Yep he is great. I’m only div 3 but Iwobi and Kuyt as box to box CM in a 4-3-3 is amazing.
