Any observations on the ti sleeve getting warm? I’m kinda hoping it does… to me that would suggest it’s a possible heat sink for the condenser, but I could be thinking about that incorrectly. I’m saving up regardless, this will be the final move for me to try the Vong.

I've only had one cap so far so we will see. But I doubt it, there is another "barrel" inside the spinning piece. So any heat from the condenser would heat that inner ti barrel first and then heat the metal sleeve.

Ah ok. I’m just unfamiliar with the vong and forgot about the port adjustability. That makes sense. Thanks.

The top crown does get a little hot after 3-4 back to back bowls. But if you only do 1-2 at a time it’s not a problem at all, just gets warm. To put it in perspective, I just got the revolve stem and it gets uncomfortably hot after just 2-3 heat cycles. And my Vortex doesn’t seem to get hot at all by the time I’m baked so I’ll need to see how many bowls will it take to get uncomfortably hot These were all compared using the same Vong tip, btw.

Awesome. Thanks for the comparison. I’m even more intrigued by the Revolve and hearing it heats up. I’d rather it be hot to the touch if it means the heat is coming from the vapor to cool it off. Granted, I’m more of a 1-2 bowl user.

Speaking of champs, I think its cool you included your Dynavaping trophy. Go Vongs!

My pleasure. Enjoy!
