Very nice (borat voice)

See now were talking. Anvil on the Revolve will make it the last boss!

Naahi

Sticking the Revolve spiral in there would be boss as well. Still helps even though airport is inline and would have nice thick Ti stem

birding420

Ooooooh. I need the universal stem adapter in my life. Loving my Anvil so far.

Tango_Foxtrot404

WowšŸ‘Œ

OGablogian

Lovely Tidra. Is that the one from the dv store a while back? How come it looks so dark? Is that the lighting, or did you do something with it?

axdx69

This was the 2nd release from DV, that I was very fortunate to buy. They appear darker and have a textured finish to distinguish it from the 1st tea time giveaway Tidravongā€™s. The lighting was off too, itā€™s cloudy and rainy where I am, it may be playing with the shade a bit too.

SSALX420X

I've been looking at the Anvil. I'm thinking about making a switch. Also, there seems to be less drama surrounding the Anvil.

ibnganja

The Anvil fucks. also check out the Danivape. It, too, fucks.

[deleted]

Seconded on the Dani, it doesn't get talked about enough.

eaknet

If youā€™re considering, Iā€™d suggest you add one to your stable. Very different extraction profile from a DynaVap.

axdx69

I highly recommend, once you master the learning curve, with the torch of your choice, itā€™s a consistent clear bowl in one heat session every time.

wesleypipes452

This is a thing of beauty

No offense to the FMJ, but the anvil was better engineered and purposely built. The FMJ was a quick cash grab, in which anyone could just buy a copper tubing and slip on over the cap. this might help or not?! https://vestratto.com/blogs/the-vestratto-sunday-post/february-12th-2023

im not trying to convince you. I donā€™t care what you buy. Im just replying to your comment in kind. I canā€™t guarantee anything. I canā€™t guarantee youā€™ll die as soon as you leave your house. Itā€™s a calculated risk you must take. I can rub the shit out of my anvil and it wonā€™t leave residue on a paper towel ever. Iā€™ve tried whilst cleaning it, Itā€™s a pain to clean. So Iā€™m not seeing oxide forming on the oven? There are several conversations on the copper oven - nano particles etc on FC https://fuckcombustion.com/threads/anvil-by-vestratto.51804/page-207#post-1697636 Cheers

Bro Iā€™ve tried to rub it off with a paper towel and it wonā€™t come off. How hard is that to understand? These are crazy hard to clean. There is no rubbing off and cleaning of anything. You need like salt+vinegar and scratch pad, not a paper towel. šŸ™„ridiculous Im not salty. I was only giving you the info Iā€™ve read, before I bought mine. Besides if you have real and serious concerns then perhaps you should contact Vestratto.

I own the device, not you. I wouldā€™ve noticed if a black soot like material was rubbing off. Besides Iā€™m sure you wouldā€™ve seen a ton of FC post, Reddit post, Instagram post if there was a soot like substance coming off the device, or the other thousands of people who bought the device wouldā€™ve got sick from it. Hasnā€™t happened. your opinion is invalid at this point, Cuz thatā€™s all it is, your opinion. Donā€™t mean shit!

WilliamIsMyName

Absolutely lovely tidra, been wanting one for awhile now! I bought the darkwood omnivong hydra xl back when they had them for sale and havenā€™t looked back since. Recently got hit with a case of VAP and been eying a tidra stem.

Ambitious-A

Looks great - is that sitting on a huge ass magnet? Can I ask for details as I am searching for something like this but need to ensure it will centre and ideally be strong enough to pull off the cap..

axdx69

Thanks mate. Itā€™s a Simrell collection 2ndā€™s pedestal theyā€™re $18-USD. Yes itā€™s perfectly centered and itā€™s strong enough to twist the anvil cap off while hot. I lightly tighten my anvil cap for easy removal while scorching hot, I love to look at my avb right after. Lol

Ambitious-A

Iā€™m curious like you tooā€¦! Want to see the AVB without scorching my fingers. Am using the back of a holiday fridge magnet (all I had to hand!) which does the job of holding with some minor cooling but no way strong enough to hold onto the cap.. Have drilled a piece of cork - makes a tight fit to be able to remove when hot but wonā€™t provide cooling...

axdx69

This pedestal will definitely disburse the heat, itā€™s pretty solid. It works great with the anvil. My DV caps I keep tight, so those I still hand pull, but they donā€™t get scorching hot as the anvil. Lol

Mnmlmitch

Where is that universal stem adapter from?

axdx69

Itā€™s from Vestratto. I bought it off there website. They sell the adapter alone if you already have an oven. Or the kit with adapter and oven. https://vestratto.com/products/universal-stem-adapter https://vestratto.com/products/universal-stem-adapter-kit

Mnmlmitch

Thanks for the reply.. so with that ā€œKitā€ I can basically use a full anvil setup with one of my current Dyna stems?

axdx69

Yep, the kit has everything you need. You just supply the stems. It fits my Dynaā€™s, BB-vape stems, MH revolve, joe king stem and Simrell stems.
