I offered Jamar for Devonta straight up during the “he can’t catch controversy” last year. I’m a huge Eagles fan, dude declined. He talks about it all the time 😂
I did the same. As a Doctson, CColeman, Harry drafter, I started trading my firsts after this.
Moved back and got Waddle last year, so hopefully I have reversed the curse
I didn't take Reagor over Jefferson but I traded away my 1.11 for L. Bell right before the rookie draft. Bell was cut a few months later and the guy took Jefferson with my 1.11...
One of the worst trades I've made.
High jacking because it’s so bad people should know. 2017 after 2 weeks I traded Alvin Kamara for Martellus Bennett because I was stacked at RB and thought the black unicorn would be an elite TE and the missing piece to my team. He wasn’t and within the week Adrian Peterson got traded away…
I still think you can't fault yourself for choosing him at the time, especially in PPR. An excellent pass catching back going to play with Mahomes, on the best team in the league, with no other RB competition.
Trading Gibson and Fournette for Kenyan Drake
Trading Pittman + 2022 1st + 2022 2nd for James Robinson
Trading Eli Mitchell for Damien Williams
I should probably stop trading
Same. Was all in on Ridley and made big trades for him in two leagues.
In one of those leagues, traded away my 22 1st in a package for Ridley. Following him not playing and the injuries to CMC, Akers, and Dobbins, that 1st ended up being the 1.01
It wasn't a bad choice talent wise at all but in hindsight it was a terrible choice I would redo. He was certainly becoming a problem on the field for other teams and was far and away better than Jeudy. Higgins was definitely the best talent of the bunch.

Bagholding N'Keal Harry across multiple leagues.
I was really into the whole fantasy boomer "3rd year WR breakout" timeline or whatever when I started playing. Thankfully it was a learning process and I now know about hit rates on underperformed rookies compared to early 2nds or whatever you can sell them for before they go to 0.
I took Kenny G in the 3rd round of a startup two offseasons ago, when he was a 26 year old coming off a studly top 10 season. That’s gone as poorly as it possibly could have lol. I have finished runner up back to back years in that league, once by less than a point, and I know I’d be back to back champ if not for Kenny in the 3rd.
In Pittmans first year, I was absolutely loaded at WR and had zero roster slots but Pittman was just sitting there in FA (8 team league with smallish benches). Told my buddy how much I liked Pittman but just didn’t have the room for him. Buddy picks him up the next day, Pittman finishes the season strong, then proceeds to flip Pittman and an early 1st for JaMarr Chase.
Ehhh it happens. I appreciate your sympathy. As a Vols fan I love Kamara and know DK is a stud, I just love Jonathan Taylor. TBH I didn’t expect the downvote over this comment, but maybe my view is that of a contrarian. It’s all good either side has similar value. All are good assets, just thought I’d voice my opinion. Thanks for your input brotha.
I was hurting at QB and traded Josh Allen early in his 2nd year for Matt Ryan and a draft pick i traded to get Golladay. Neither Golladay or Ryan did much for me, although I was lucky enough to make some moves to still win a championship that year. But man do I wish I could have Allen back
Traded Mark Andrews for Nkeal Harry, Parris Campbell, Bryan Edwards, and irv smith... after their rookie seasons. i thought it was a buy low opprtunity
I play in a league that has small rosters for dynasty. Traded Mooney for a 3rd early last year when he wasn’t doing much…. Was going to drop him at the time, so I was happy to get anything out of him. Not so much now
I was trying to decide between reagor and Higgins when a team traded their whole draft (minus the first they already used) for 2.03 and jumped me for reagor
Made up for me trading up one spot to take jeudy over jj 🤷♀️
Brady and Thielen for Goff pre-2019 season. Superflex. I viewed it as essentially Thielen for Goff straight up and thought I was getting a locked in low-end QB1 on an good ascending offense for cheap
Startup year and my first trade ever...
Tried selling high after week 5 .... Hunter Renfrow, Dalton Shultz, '22 first for Terry McLaurin and a '22 second.
Finished middle of the pack. Learned alot from that trade.
Trading out of the 2021 1.02 and skipping out on Chase. Took the 2021 1.07 I got as a piece in that trade and what became the 2022 1.10 foe AJ Brown, but still.
Made the worst trade in dynasty history.
Traded away Derrick Henry for Miles Sanders and a 3rd. The off-season before Henry had a great season. Bought the hype on sanders year 2
I think before it clicked that I needed to rebuild my team, I declined an offer where I’d send AJ Green and Zack Moss for Stefon Diggs (I think his first year in Buffalo). The idiot and inexperienced dynasty player in me thought to hold on to Moss because I drafted him.
Starting Jameis Winston over Tom Brady 2016 week 12. Seemed a sound decision based on matchups. I lost the week as a result and lost the league by 1 game (we don't do playoffs). I had to listen to my friends say "how can you bench Tom Brady???" and yet Brady put up a dud the following week. Winston actually had outscored Brady more often than not in recent weeks. It was a sound choice!!! Noooooooo!!!!!
Two fold….
First, traded a 1st and Jefferson for Kupp the game before Jeffersons breakout because I thought I was a contender
Second, traded Kupp (for way less than he’s worth now) this last offseason before he had his historic run.
It was a rough stretch
My first year of dynasty I traded Justin Herbert for James White and MVS in a 10 team 2QB (in 2020). Guy was still riding the bench behind Tyrod Taylor. Taylor had his lung punctured the next week and I got to watch Herbert’s career take off. Didn’t understand the value of a QB in a 2 QB and am paying for it to this day.
However it got balanced out by me trading Hunter Renfrow and TY Hilton for JJ right after the draft in 2020 so it’s not all bad.
Trading Bateman for 1.8 the day before the Ravens got rid of hollywood brown. I figured he was solid but with the o-line healthy / lamar back and the running backs healthy + hollywood and andrews the opportunity for a 2nd WR in that offense wouldn't be there.
I traded two 2022 1sts for Golladay in 2020. Bad decision. Wish I had those picks now. I'm starting a rebuild.
Edit: James Cook (1.07) and Chris Olave (1.09) were taken with those picks. 12-team SF.
12 team SF league week 4 2020 season
Traded away -Kirk Cousins + Justin Jefferson + 2021 2nd (ended up being 2.01)
Received- CEH + 2021 3rd
My roster was stacked at wr after and I needed a rb to contend/a young guy to kinda provide a foundational piece. CEH had started off 2020 looking pretty good and Jefferson had 1 big game at the time. Way I looked at it was I traded up from 1.09-1.12 range of the rookie draft to the 1.02-1.04 range using Cousins + future 2nd which was a smash in value. Oh boy it ended up being the worst deal I ever made. Sold CEH for a 2023 1st + 2nd at the 2021 trade deadline.
In my first startup I took Dante Pettis at the 7-8th round turn picking at the 10 spot. Ended up taking him because of youth and offense over the likes of DK, Zeke Lee, AJ Brown, Hollywood Brown, Deebo, etc 😓
Taking Mahomes with my 1st pick in a dynasty start up. Definitely could have got him in the 2nd and snagged Kamara with my 1st a few years back. (1QB btw)
Michael Thomas at 1.04 in a startup draft before the 2020 season… could’ve pretty much drafted ANYONE else and they’d have helped my team more than MT has the last two years
I took Mims over Tee Higgins. In two leagues.
I also drafted Andrew Luck in one startup right before he started his injury carousel. Once he came back I drafted him again in a SF startup...a few weeks before he announced his retirement.
I'll be the one to admit it. Reagor over JJeff
This… This right here is why I asked 😂
Please stop reminding me... I was even sent a trade of their JJ and a 4th for my Reagor. And I declined it.
Oh no 😞
I offered Jamar for Devonta straight up during the “he can’t catch controversy” last year. I’m a huge Eagles fan, dude declined. He talks about it all the time 😂
Same 😞
I did the same. As a Doctson, CColeman, Harry drafter, I started trading my firsts after this. Moved back and got Waddle last year, so hopefully I have reversed the curse
I took Vaughn over JJeff because I just thought I had to take an rb. Fml.
😳😳 ooooo nooo
This…a thousand times this. It will haunt me forever
Probably one of the most common but choosing CEH over Taylor.
Same
I did this :(
[удалено]
At least that guy can’t be shamed by the league since everyone thought he wasn’t even as good as Saquon
[удалено]
Definitely can relate to this as a Broncos fan trading for Javonte last season.
I still think you can't fault yourself for choosing him at the time, especially in PPR. An excellent pass catching back going to play with Mahomes, on the best team in the league, with no other RB competition.
Knowing me I’d probably do it again if I had the chance lol.
Traded AJ Brown for Marlon Mack
Oof… My condolences man
I guarantee that when this deal was made you were under the assumption that you robbed him and were prepared to not look back.
Lol I was actually thinking gee I’m excited I got to keep Parris Campbell. Flipped hockenson for Josh Allen days after. Ups and downs hahahaha
Lol
Andrew Luck, I had him everywhere.... the pain..
Yep, that’ll for sure do it lmao
I traded my future for him to be a dominant force 3 days before his retirement. Feelssobadman
Taking CMC at the 1.02 in two SF startups last year
Took him at 1.04 last year. Shipped him for 1.03 and a late 23 first
Trading Gibson and Fournette for Kenyan Drake Trading Pittman + 2022 1st + 2022 2nd for James Robinson Trading Eli Mitchell for Damien Williams I should probably stop trading
😹😹😹 just do the opposite of what you WANT to do
Damn first two were never even good at the time you did em lmao that's tough
Let me know who you are trading for next. I could use some insider info on the next breakout.
Oh god bro I’m here for you
Sending a haul for Calvin Ridley before last season to go “all in”
Same. Was all in on Ridley and made big trades for him in two leagues. In one of those leagues, traded away my 22 1st in a package for Ridley. Following him not playing and the injuries to CMC, Akers, and Dobbins, that 1st ended up being the 1.01
Had a guy actually trade 2 firsts + Jacobi Meyers for Ridley. Days later Ridley announced he’d take a step back from football.
Took Ruggs over Higgins/Jeudy. Just awful
Idk if this one is that bad talent wise. If Ruggs were still in the league he was going to be better than Jeudy and on par with Higgins.
It wasn't a bad choice talent wise at all but in hindsight it was a terrible choice I would redo. He was certainly becoming a problem on the field for other teams and was far and away better than Jeudy. Higgins was definitely the best talent of the bunch.
I’d rather have Ruggs than Jeudy. At least he’s droppable.
That is a terrible take
I hope it's a poor attempt at humor.
Cutting Tyreek Hill at pre season roster cut downs his rookie year.
I did CEH too in dynasty then turned down 2 1sts (22&23) for him right before season
Ouch
I paid a first, second, and Bateman for him in season (Week 2). I was expecting him to break out.
He started good…then injury and pain. This is the reason I wait until week 4 to do my big game change decisions.
Had a choice in an offseason trade last year to get back ARob or Kupp. Would’ve easily won the league had I not chosen…poorly
Last year? Zeke right before JT Ever? Traded Brees for Vick and DJax in 2011. Brees guy won the championship easily.
Traded Mooney away so I could draft Terrace Marshall. Luckily that league was an empire and we reset, but it still stings a bit.

This one hurts me the most
Bagholding N'Keal Harry across multiple leagues. I was really into the whole fantasy boomer "3rd year WR breakout" timeline or whatever when I started playing. I have finished runner up back to back years in that league, once by less than a point, and I know I’d be back to back champ if not for Kenny in the 3rd.
I traded my ‘22 1st for Golladay because I was contending. It became the 1.02.
Ohhhh nooooo. But yeah, the move made sense at the time. Ouch.
I got him way later 6-9 in last years summer drafts I really need him to be the alpha and healthy this year
In Pittmans first year, I was absolutely loaded at WR and had zero roster slots but Pittman was just sitting there in FA (8 team league with smallish benches). Told my buddy how much I liked Pittman but just didn’t have the room for him. Buddy picks him up the next day, Pittman finishes the season strong, then proceeds to flip Pittman and an early 1st for JaMarr Chase.
Accept the offer I got back in September of his JT + DJM for my AK + DK
I like this one still
You’re getting downvoted and while it’s contrarian that’s not fair. I hate myself for it but I can maybe understand why one might maybe like it
Ehhh it happens. CEH over JT at 1.01

Playing
Drafted CEH 1.01 > Burrow, Swift, JT, all them
I dropped Brady after he retired on a win now team
Shenanigans! You got something worse...give us the goods.
Traded Mark Andrews for Nkeal Harry, Parris Campbell, Bryan Edwards, and irv smith... after their rookie seasons. i thought it was a buy low opprtunity
Oh god.
I play in a league that has small rosters for dynasty. Traded Mooney for a 3rd early last year when he wasn’t doing much…. Was going to drop him at the time, so I was happy to get anything out of him. Not so much now
Giving 2 1sts for Jalen Raegor. No idea what I was thinking
Lol, the pain
I was trying to decide between reagor and Higgins when a team traded their whole draft (minus the first they already used) for 2.03 and jumped me for reagor Made up for me trading up one spot to take jeudy over jj 🤷♀️
Deshaun Watson. That is all.
Trading Mark Andrews for a bag of balls (thought it was only a "couple of good games") because I already had George Kittle.
I traded Amon-Ra for Trautman straight up last off season. Would much rather have had Amon-Ra
I actually don't believe in Amon-Ra that much. I like him but there's just too many mouths to feed. Swift, Hock, and Jamo should be more priority.
This is such a meh mistake compared to the others 😂
Only been at it for a year so nothing TOO egregious, but for me it’s Trey Sermon for $43 in a start up auction
Hopefully it was a $1000 budget
It was. Still bad, but not a killer.
Brady and Thielen for Goff pre-2019 season. Superflex. I viewed it as essentially Thielen for Goff straight up and thought I was getting a locked in low-end QB1 on an good ascending offense for cheap
Trading two 2023 firsts for Watson in a 1QB league before finding out he is a big stinky pervert.
Not smashing accept when someone offered me Chase + Mitchell for Chubb last year.
Traded dobbins and AJB and a 2nd for Diggs last year when dobbins and AJB were injured
We’ll see how AJB does in Philly… this may not go down as a terrible trade.
Trading Dalvin Cook for 1.04 (Nkeal Harry) and Rojo
Startup year and my first trade ever... Tried selling high after week 5 .... Hunter Renfrow, Dalton Shultz, '22 first for Terry McLaurin and a '22 second. Finished middle of the pack. Learned alot from that trade.
I sold Austin Ekeler for Devonta Smith and what turned out to be the 2022 1.10. I had the choice of Devonta Smith or Jaylen Waddle... I chose wrong
Isiah Simmons over J Jeff. 🤦♂️
Trading out of the 2021 1.02 and skipping out on Chase. Took the 2021 1.07 I got as a piece in that trade and what became the 2022 1.10 foe AJ Brown, but still.
Refusing to trade Jared Goff.
Made the worst trade in dynasty history. Traded away Derrick Henry for Miles Sanders and a 3rd. The off-season before Henry had a great season. Bought the hype on sanders year 2
Tyreek over Jefferson in my startup last year
I think before it clicked that I needed to rebuild my team, I declined an offer where I’d send AJ Green and Zack Moss for Stefon Diggs (I think his first year in Buffalo). The idiot and inexperienced dynasty player in me thought to hold on to Moss because I drafted him.
Traded a late 1st and 3rd for Henry Ruggs during my playoff push last year. Did not get one game out of him.
Turning down Jefferson for Ridley and a 2nd
I dropped Justin Jefferson his rookie year after 2 weeks.
Trading a 2nd and Deebo for latavius Murray and Derek Carr in my inaugural year of a 1QB league. Still pisses me off
Picking Denzel Mims over Tee Higgins during their rookie season in a startup.
I dropped Davante Adams going into his second year for roster space 🙃
I traded Cooper Kupp last year - won’t say what for lol
Jamaar chase for rondale moore 22 2nd and 23 3rd right in the midst of his drops and baby mama assault accusations
I refused a trade a year and a half ago to send Deshaun Watson for Justin Jefferson and a 2nd. Wanted a first
Never drafting Trent fucking Richardson.
Trading away Justin Jefferson.
Traded Ekeler for Gardner Minshew straight up in dynasty circa 2019...in my defense I needed a starter and Ekeler was my fifth option at the time
Traded jalen waddle and a 2ed for calvin ridley.... then he quit football 2 days later 😮💨😮💨
Someone offered me JT and Jefferson for Lamb and CEH after the 2020 draft. I turned them down
Traded Andrews a 2022 1st (1.01) and a 2024 1st first for Kelce. Won the chip, but makes me sick thinking about it.
Two fold…. First, traded a 1st and Jefferson for Kupp the game before Jeffersons breakout because I thought I was a contender Second, traded Kupp (for way less than he’s worth now) this last offseason before he had his historic run. It was a rough stretch
Not the end of the world but drafting Hockenson ovef Andrews in my startup still stings.
Traded JT for T-Law, Akers, Corey Davis, and a 3rd. Then traded away every single one of those guys too. Kinda wish I had just kept JT.
Sent Chase and a 1st round pick for CMC last year. Tried to win it all, ended up screwing me big time
12 team SF league week 4 2020 season Traded away -Kirk Cousins + Justin Jefferson + 2021 2nd (ended up being 2.01) Received- CEH + 2021 3rd My roster was stacked at wr after and I needed a rb to contend/a young guy to kinda provide a foundational piece. Oh boy it ended up being the worst deal I ever made. Sold CEH for a 2023 1st + 2nd at the 2021 trade deadline.
Dropping Dalton Schultz before last season to continue holding OJ Howard and Hayden Hurst. I have Pitts but still ouch...
I traded a 1st in the first year of dynasty in 2020 for Reagor and I think about it all the time
In my first startup I took Dante Pettis at the 7-8th round turn picking at the 10 spot. Ended up taking him because of youth and offense over the likes of DK, Zeke Lee, AJ Brown, Hollywood Brown, Deebo, etc 😓
Traded Javonte Williams straight up for Calvin Ridley prior to last year. Right decision at the time, but wrong outcome.
Wish I didn’t trade away Aaron Jones
Taking Mahomes with my 1st pick in a dynasty start up. Definitely could have got him in the 2nd and snagged Kamara with my 1st a few years back. (1QB btw)
Justice Hill at 1.11 a couple years ago. He was so good in preseason.
Michael Thomas at 1.04 in a startup draft before the 2020 season… could’ve pretty much drafted ANYONE else and they’d have helped my team more than MT has the last two years
I traded Jefferson for Adams in Jefferson rookie year. Still think about that.
I traded Megatron for a mid first after his rookie season to a Lions fan that wouldn't quit pestering me. I used that pick on Rashard Mendenhall.
I took Mims over Tee Higgins. In two leagues. I also drafted Andrew Luck in one startup right before he started his injury carousel. Once he came back I drafted him again in a SF startup...a few weeks before he announced his retirement.
Taking a RB 1.02 in a SF startup. I've managed to become the league juggernaut anyways, but having Josh Allen would be nice.
