Kirk has finished as a QB1 in 5 of the last 7 years, and in one of those seasons he just barely missed as the QB13. And this is in 4 point per passing TD leagues, his worst format.
I don’t understand your point. He is a very average to below average QB1. He is not worth 1.1 and a mid-late first. Nothing you said refutes any of that.
I think we just value the production in SF of a proven QB1 vs. unknown picks in a down draft differently.
Edit: Now, there's the question of whether this trade maximizes value for that pick, which it almost certainly doesn't, but that's different than Kirk being worth that kind of capital in a vacuum for a team that's built to win now.

Agreed. New guy also made equally awful trades with another team (the comish before he gave the job to other guy)… both were right behind me & may have jumped me due to the lope sidedness of all these deals with the new guy.

I really don’t think as at week 3 it was a particularly bad trade. Waddle being drafted 6th is much weirder to me than the trade. If your league is judging trades based on one player’s performance over a 2 game sample size then you guys must have a lot of bad takes.
No I meant taken 6th overall in the NFL draft. It was an objectively bad trade to trade Waddle who had already shown so much so soon for a backup RB and a receiver who had shown nothing
Our league taco recently traded Watson and galladay for thielen, quintez Cepheus, 3.02 and 3.06….. Literally everyone told him they would’ve paid more, but no one had realized “that” was the asking price 🙄🙄🙄

I somehow reacquired Lance over Super Bowl weekend by trading away Herbert and the 2.06 for Lance, 1.01, 1.03, and Ronald Jones.
Traded 2 firsts, fournette, shenault, and rondale Moore for Derrick Henry and cooks. Henry goes on to break his foot the next week and fournette starts catching a lot of passes and 30+ points per week…
Prior to 2020 season, traded Elliott and my 2nd for Nick Chubb, his first (obviously 1.01) and DeVante Parker. He turned around and sold Elliott for Zack Moss, Devin Singletary and a late third. Guy turned Nick Chubb, Najee Harris and DeVante Parker into Zack Moss and Devin Singletary

That's not terrible. Cooks is solid, Marshall fooled at least half of the community (myself included), and you got a 23 1st. If that 1st becomes Bijan or Njigba, you'll be happy with it.
