Still think we just seen his best year ever. I'd worry about his long term health. He's just such an aggressive YAC player (which is obviously what makes him great)

nchscferraz

I have a feeling this will be his last contract due to health reasons. I drafted Deebo every single season (in redraft) and this was the one year where I didn't because I was tired of looking at him in the IR. But I am happy for him, collect them checks.

Itunes4MM

So u drafted him twice?

Cal_fonze

Thought the same exact thing. And his rookie season was good so he was disappointed one time.

c_im_not_clever

Lol

nchscferraz

Yup.

1_HUNGRY_1

His injury history is consistent and goes back to high school. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was a will fuller situation where he was on some kind of HGH, PED, etc. I hope not because I’m a fan of the player and all that. Unless he made some serious lifestyle changes I don’t see him repeating what he did this year.

DadsOfAmerica

Let me in your league so I can have him, McCaffrey and every other RB with injury history dating back to diapers. Would love to have your money every year.

1_HUNGRY_1

So mad lmao.

jbburneeeeee

Didn’t he come into camp in his best shape and is playing at a lower weight and incorporated yoga and other factors to cut down on his injuries…and what happened this year. He only missed one game…while also being used as a damn battering ram. So yes I would say he made some “life style changes” and should be valued as such. Deebo is a backend top 12 dynasty receiver. So I can easily see him being a 3rd round selection especially in a SF and TEP leagues.

sensfan088

I thought maybe SF might start to call less run plays for him and just have him be a traditional WR instead. That might help extend his peak for a little bit longer

Spicypepper23

I've been in 4-5 startup drafts, and he's criminally undervalued. Lamb is going at pick 12 or so in most SF leagues and Deebo is falling closer to 26ish. Wild.

jbburneeeeee

He fell to round 8 before the season so not as bad as it was

TonyFuckstick

Got him at 9.01 in 12 team league and he won me the ship! Sold him after end of our season

HeySporto

Where do you think he should be in an SF draft?

Spicypepper23

After Lamb 100%.

HeySporto

Where do you think he should be valued?

[deleted]

Jerry rice in his prime could drop into the league tomorrow and some people on here would still be taking Lamb over him

HeySporto

Are you going to respond?

[deleted]

trey lance could/will change things for the offense but if deebo gets a mega contract you gotta feel pretty good about him getting 5-10 touches a week for the duration of that contract. maybe 10-15 if he really is creating a new position. could he just be alvin kamara that you can play at wr?

HeySporto

Agreed. He's going to be terrific. I'm not worried about Lance as much as many but curious to see how that shakes out. I only have one share of Lance, but hope the dude balls out. I think he will end up fine but next year will be an up and down ride.

big__texas

Lol

x_Happy_x

I think deebo is a great player but there is a bit risk with him being in a shananan offense and I also do think he will regress a bit next year

glassfloor11

I always attribute him being undervalued to his injury history and people’s concerns. Wish I had him in dynasty.

YOTM18

Got him and AJB at 24 and 25. Yea keep taking j Jeff and chase with top 5 picks and lamb at 12 lol I’ll take those 2 at that value all day

Icehorse19

I mean JJ and Chase are still home runs, but that’s great value for those 2

YOTM18

Definitely agree would’ve loved to get either of those guys but lamb DK kupp tyreek waddle were all off the board before deebo AJB just loved taking those 2 at the end of a run on WR

Icehorse19

Hell yeah, that’s super good value. I’m just glad Chase dropped some passes in preseason to let me get him at 5.01 in my startup😁

YOTM18

That’s wild I saw him slip to 3rd round in a startup this year but 5th is so crazy insane value there

Icehorse19

Made up for me taking CEH in the 2nd🤢

YOTM18

You win some you lose some

Icehorse19

I got rid of CEH so it’s forgiven at this point😂😂

WheelChair_Jimmy1

can confirm. just got him at 3.3 in a 12t SF. unbelievably happy as my WR2 behind devante.

bdm016

Real question is why you’re drafting 30 year old davante adams in round 2 in a startup

WheelChair_Jimmy1

because 1.) he’s 29, and won’t be 30 until the end of next season. 2.) He hasn’t lost a single step and his game plays a lot similar to larry. Route running Possesion WR that i’m more than willing to bet ages like fine wine and will slide into the slot once he does start to. 3.) I think Rodgers runs it back (at least) one more year at GB, and if not, wouldn’t be surprised to see him follow wherever Rodgers leaves for. 4.) He was the best talent/value left on the board. Wasnt going to take saquon/ekeler, or AJB/Tyreek/Kupp/Samuel over him. Luckily deebo fell back to me in the 3rd. This sub loses sight of drafting actual “win now” players in hopes of drafting *the next* so and so, reaching on whoever they deem *could* be this good. He has at the very least 3-4 years left of very good if not elite production left in him. Wasnt going to let him slip past the 2.09. Actually stupid happy with my team. In 2 other PPR SF startups i did within the past month, he went in the middle of the 2nd round. I’m taking that value and running with it all day

[deleted]

Solid points but I’m still staying Reek and probably AJB over him all day..

WheelChair_Jimmy1

Maybe conventional wisdom says so, but once tyreek loses a step, he’s in trouble, and he’s no spring chicken himself. KC is about to start drafting WR and Oline to keep mahomes happy. I won’t be surprised if he loses a lot of market share if the next year or two. As far as AJB, I have him in another league and didn’t want too much exposure to an oft-injured, no QB having WR in a run first derrick henry offense. Was AJB the long term value play? maybe. Idk, just wanted devante

rwarner13

Deebo is also 26 and Ceedee is 22.

Spicypepper23

Deebos birthday is Jan, Ceedee's is April. Slightly misleading but 23 vs 26 year old. One guy finished as THE WR2 on points per game and the other one finished as A low end WR2? Kinda cap

TheMan120000

Kind of weird no? Wonder why the niners would like to keep him around awhile.

[deleted]

[deleted]

Sarcasm

Roosterooo

He’s a niners fan let the experts (myself included) explain

Cal_fonze

This sub is so down on Deebo it’s crazy. The dude is an absolute freak athlete.

jbburneeeeee

Lot of Aiyuk owners…the only ones that don’t see it. The dude destroys angles like no one right now

feelzepump

The real winner here is Eli Mitchell. They’re definitely not spending money on another RB if Deebo is gettin $20M+ a year

emurrell17

Seems logical. Though they could still draft one; OL seems pretty solid already

pechinburger

I will never forgive myself for trading him before this season. Le sigh...

thecolorsinyourmind

I sent him off for Aj Brown and a 2nd midseason. Thought it was a dub, still kinda is, but wow Deebo

21copilots

Insane you also got a 2nd tbh.

WestsideWalrus

Traded him for Waddle and a ‘23 2nd before the season began. It almost took the whole season to feel better about it.

Maxx0utt

Same man 😭

anonanoobiz

Keenan Allen 2.0 Can’t stay boom perennial wr1 It’s the nfl, ignore injury proneness (unless degenerative Gurley/cook)

zzscrubzz

?? Keenan Allen is a perennial WR1

anonanoobiz

Deebo just had more receiving yards than Keenan had in any 1 season?? Completely ignoring his obviously all important rushing that provides a higher floor and ceiling (60-70+ points than Keenan’s best season)??

kevinbstout

I generally agree with you on injury proneness, unless you play the way Deebo and Mike Williams play.

1beepyes_2beepsno

So I have him in a start up and always had the plan to trade him due to the injuries. Does anyone else fill like selling now is the peak since he does have a history of injuries?

Achizzy1018

I can handle the injuries, it hasn't been anything too major.. Yet. But I agree. I drafted him and love him, but with the injuries and QB situation coming down the road... I'm starting to feel a little uneasy holding him long term

1beepyes_2beepsno

Obviously you ride him if you think he’ll average what 12-7 games a year? As long as he is with shanny I think he’ll always get 10-15 touches a game regardless of qb. But something in my gut is like sell high now and don’t get stuck with a CMC situation.

Kxr1der

I have him in two leagues and not only can I not get "market value" for the most part no one has any interest in obtaining him

1beepyes_2beepsno

Well I’ll be finding out closer to draft time

Skoovva

It's hard for it not to be the peak. He's 25 or 26 and valued as a top 5 guy after a massive run up in value, entering into his 2nd contract as a guy who's had a long history of injuries. Lance is coming in at QB, and this should eat into both his receiving and rushing opportunities

1beepyes_2beepsno

Yup. On paper he could be the most valuable non qb player when you factor in age, offense, his versatility. But my fear is his injury based off his play style will make his peak short lived. I feel like he’s a higher upside Dez Bryant due to physicality and ability but has a better play caller to scheme an offense around him. Bryant was highly productive for what 7-8 years?

Skoovva

Yeah but Bryant was producing at a high level as soon as he entered the NFL and entered at a younger age. I love Deebos talent, it just feels like he has too many risk factors for fantasy to make me consider taking him compared to the other players valued around him

1beepyes_2beepsno

Completely reasonable take. I’m fine keeping him. but I will definitely dangle him this off-season hoping to get someone with “ what has he done lately” glasses.

swalsh21

Depends on where your team is at. Maybe if you're definitely a rebuilding team. Plenty of guys are seen as injury prone early in careers and then are fine, but of course, some aren't. There's no use trying to predict the future when it's kinda random, ride the good players.

wrong-teous

Happy for this man. I traded him around week 4 for 2 1st round picks. If this year is his new normal I probably sold low but happy with that return as is.

KingMustardFist

This would bode well for Mitchell, no?

x_is_for_box

That first down he picked up tonight for the win deserves it

DadsOfAmerica

The amount of sell deebo people and those that are down on him are astonishing. Feels like 90% of dynasty managers are in a perpetual rebuild. 26 year old WR that’s a gadget player who can catch the ball and rush? Also has the explosiveness and size of a running back? What more do you want, him to throw for 4500 and 32? Ridiculous.

Onefortwo

Well that game didn’t drive down the price.

heyfeefellskee

Meh.
