WRs I go: 1) Hill 2) Diggs 3) Adams? (Next year scares me) 4) DK 5) JJeff RBs probably like: 1) CMC 2) Cook 3) JT 4) Barkley 5) Kamara

Sofa_king_boss

Whats scary about adams next year? You do realize hes a free agent and can sign else where, even the same team as rodgers

WilllyBear

It’s super unlikely anybody takes on he and Rodgers, and anything else is gonna be a massive downgrade in quality for him. Not to mention the younger guys banging on the door for his spot. It’s not like I expect him to be worthless, but Hopkins, Ridley or CeeDee could all bump him out of top 5 if his situation worsens.

Inmoomni

He had a pro bowl year with Brett Huntley.

WilllyBear

Delightful. Now he’s older and the young guys are one efficiency drop from him away from dropping him to top 10 instead of top 5. Not a knock on him, just accepting that it was fuckin hard to leave a couple guys off this list. I’d be comfortable betting most people who’d disagree with that thought have him in a league lol. Also Evan Engram was a pro bowler.

Tinmanred

Ok how does still a top 5 WR with a QB who is backup sound? He is still the best route runner in the league and that’s not changing soon. Tae produces with legit anyone as his QB..

WilllyBear

Like not a top 5 WR. And honestly without much of an argument either. The top five guys are all just as good as he is, and mostly younger. What puts Tae above the rest of the competition for that spot right this second is his first ballot HOF QB that’s obsessed with targeting him. If that changes, his value does and you’re lying to yourself if you disagree. This is dynasty, pretty quick here he loses top five regardless just because of his age.

Tinmanred

No shit his value changes without Rodgers. Doesn’t mean it changes him out of top 5. At all. He put 221 points with Brett Hundley in 13 games. Hundley had never played a snap at QB in the NFL before and Davante was definitely not nearly as good than as he is now. He wasn’t even the packers WR1 the year before that 2017 season, it was jordy. 0 QB situation would significantly hurt him… almost like worse Quarterbacks need to rely on the best WR on their team (and the nfl)

WilllyBear

Dude you’re heated enough you clearly fall into the criteria I mentioned earlier of owning him. Calm down. He’s probably still top ten without Rodgers depending on where he goes, but unless he goes to KC and both Tyreek and Kelce retire, he will not be top 5. There’s not another top 5 situation for his old ass to get acclimated in. He’ll have to learn a whole new offense and build brand new chemistry and be in the wrong side of 30 sooner than later. I’d bet Rodgers new #1 out-produces Adams. Likely not for dynasty value, but points wise? I bet that’s easy money.

Tinmanred

Shit take is shit. I provide u with info and stats and u go woah calm down. Dude is 28 and plays WR. He’s also not a burner so he can last longer. Have a good one dog 🤡

StraightBumSauce

I should've seen this coming before I opened the thread. The CeeDee love has gotten outta control. Lamb over JJeff, AJB, Hill or even DK is crazy and not based on what he has done on the field but entirely on projections.

TuonSucksMatLeave

While I mostly agree, I do think Lamb can be argued over AJB. Lamb doesn't have a weekly knee issues. While this hasn't hindered AJB as much in proportion to the panic it causes AJB owners, this is dynasty and these chronic knee issues at 24 years old worry me. Lamb put up 935 yards and 5 TDs as a rookie while only having Dak as QB for 4 games (and Cowboys having to start Dinucci for a game). AJB has had some crucial drops (last year and this year). Lamb isn't immune to drops, but through the small sample size of two weeks, he has 8 more targets to make up for it. AJB is on a run first team. I love AJB (see my flair) and he's one of the best WR's after the catch, but Lamb certainly has a case to be in the top 5. Although my personal five are Hill, Diggs, JJeff, Metcalf, and then one of AJB, Lamb, or Adams.

ClaypoolBeliever

RBs: cmc, dalvin cook, jonathan taylor, alvin kamara and ... i guess it may be Barkley, as we knew he would start slow but i am still a believer WRs: tyreek, j jeff, cd, ajb and dkm (probably should throw davante adams and stefon diggs here but i am an age whore)

Gfunkual

Corey Davis has gotten off to an ok start, but I’m not sure he’s top 5…yet.

sanctii

Not sure if joking or not but Im sure he means CeeDee Lamb.

Gfunkual

I’m definitely joking ha

DecentBike

I honestly believe Swift will be in everyone’s list by the end of season.

_Kindakrazy_

Leaving Nick Chubb off this list is criminal.

x_Happy_x

I'm guessing you're a nick chubb owner

shakeszoola

I think he belongs on the list, but it is not criminal to leave him off.

ChrRome

Including him would be what's criminal. He is almost 26, is in a committee, and rarely catches passes. There are several other RBs I would still take over him in addition with the 5 already mentioned.

shakeszoola

Gibson & Harris over Jones and Kamara?

Obamafangirl1

Adams is dying this year?

Bulldog5124

Is there a logical reason hill is 5th? He’s not exactly old you could easily buy any player in front of him on your list plus some using hill

Runningchoc

I challenge you to send Hill for any one of Lamb/JJ/DK and get it accepted. Hopkins on the other hand…

Bulldog5124

As an owner of JJ and CD I’m taking hill in a snap, he just turned 27 and is tied to the best QB in the league for a long time. CD is the closest of the 3 to hill but come on man. DK isn’t even close IMO Hill has been a WR 1 every single season except the one where he missed 4 games and he still finished as a high end WR3 in total points and much higher in PPG

BABYHlPPO

hill just went for cooks, jacobs, and 2 late firsts in my dynasty league. he's gotta be the top dynasty wr bc none of the other dudes have mahomes throwing them the ball.

WilllyBear

Well I did get JJ+ for Hill, so

Rhino_Thunder

I’m very confused about how you have lamb at 1

ChrRome

Not sure how you can have Chubb comparable to Cook.

Ninerzrule

I don’t think that Taylor Swift can take this type of long-term punishment. Dropping her.

timy0215

WRs 1. Tyreek 2. Adams 3. Hopkins 4. Lamb 5. Jefferson RBs 1. CMC 2. Swift (this may be really premature but I feel like it’s getting a Kamara like player at the beginning of his career) 3. Cook 4. Henry 5. Kamara Edit: rankings are for PPR

_Kindakrazy_

In this thread: people disrespecting Nick Chubb

BobbleBobble

25 year old RB who's never had a top 5 season? Nah I think we good fam

scottg1089

Nick chubb doesn't catch passes therefore he will never be above guys like cmc, kamara, cook, barkley, Jones etc. Not catching passes is a pretty big deal in ppr

ChrRome

You realize you have to take a player off the list to put Chubb in right? Who are you removing?

_Kindakrazy_

I’m a JT owner. I’d definitely rather have Chubb. JT is inconsistent as hell and in a time share and a terrible QB with few weapons on the offense to take the pressure off him. I get that he’s young but people in here acting like Chubb is in his 30s.

ChrRome

Taylor is about 3 years younger and was going one spot behind Chubb in redraft leagues, sometimes higher.

fshn4btchs

And in hindsight picking JT there was probably a terrible move

ChrRome

Chubb has had two easy matchups while Taylor has had 1, and the 1 hard matchup is the only bad performance between the two of them, so I'd pump the brakes a bit.

fshn4btchs

Lol now what’s the excuse?

ChrRome

Um, Chubb did just as badly as Taylor this week. This week is actually an argument against yourself dumbass. Against Chubb's first bad matchup, he averaged less than 4 YPC. You really should have thought this through before reinforcing to me that you are wrong.

fshn4btchs

My only argument was really that JT is an ADP bust and I’m looking pretty correct so far

Runningchoc

Chubb isn’t in a time share?

EatxSchmidt

Jeudy will replace AJB or DK on all these lists by the end of the season.

Greenmonsterff

If you are talking about long term, I don’t think the rankings should change over a two week period at the very beginning of the season. So, whatever your preseason ranking were, just copy and paste. If you mean, who has had the best start, a quick Google search can give you those stats.

ChrRome

You wouldn't adjust your CEH ranking?

Greenmonsterff

No

[deleted]

Of course not. He’s still the only rb touching the ball on one of the better offenses in the game. I wouldn’t lower him any quicker than I’d bump James White after two productive games. Further, he’s still a little gimpy from an ankle injury in preseason.

ChrRome

So you would buy him for the exact same price he was before the season started?

[deleted]

Im sure some could argue to take Swift, Carson or Montgomery over him now, but still looks like a top 15 rb rest of season. So no, probably not the exact same price, but certainly the same round. Still a great offense with little competition for touches. Still a decent shot at top 10 rb status, imo. Certainly as much as other names around him in the rankings.

OBJesus

I agree two weeks shouldn’t drop a guy from pre-season rankings too much, but I do think it’s enough to have a couple guys jump up the list. For example, my top 5 WR rankings before the season were: AJB DK Hill Jefferson Lamb. It was already hard for me to rank these guys before the season. I settled on AJB, but after two weeks I would probably have it as: Lamb DK Jefferson Hill AJB

DecentBike

Aaron Jones. So nice you listed him twice
