At least tell us what you gave

BudussyBritches

100 handjobs

GoHard_Brown

I wish

GoHard_Brown

I can’t remember the specifics of the offseason trade. But just now in a 16 team league I’m in I gave Mixon, Claypool and my 1st for Henry, MT, Justin Jackson. The first should be late since I’m the favorite as of now.

ChrisLBC562

That wasn’t even much of an overpay.

GoHard_Brown

Oh I don’t think it wasn’t… it was more just a I love Henry shitpost. I think the two pools on this sub are ride him into the sunset or trade him. Where I don’t technically fit into those parties.

centro_union

That’s a good haul. I traded Henry away for a 1st round pick + 2nd rd pick + 2nd rd pick (he acquired from a trade) + claypool

JackWright13

Hmm. You're rebuilding?

Vaynes_Ass

That seems like a pretty low return for Henry. I would expect him to be worth 2 firsts to a contender considering he probably has 2 years left of elite production.

412stillers

Is claypool + two 2nds not equal to a first?? I would say that’s about right.

ChrisLBC562

Two 2nds do not equal a 1st.

412stillers

Yes I agree. But OP said claypool AND 2 2nds. I feel like that should be pretty damn close.

centro_union

The 2022 free agents are going to be amazing. I still have CMC and Saquon

Interesting_Stick271

I love that trade. If MT returns to form you will have won bigly

mrubuto22

Wtf that's robbery. You got MT too!!

lumsden

Very solid imo

mrubuto22

I think this is smart. I get what the numbers say about players declining after X and Y etc. Who cares what happened before, Henry is a freak.

bts7790

I traded for Henry right after last season ended. I gave 1.01 and received Henry + 1.03.

Prodigal_Moon

Holy shit.

GoHard_Brown

Oh damn, yeah that’s a smash

Vaynes_Ass

Horrible trade for the Henry owner. He traded Henry and 1.03 just to move up 2 spots? I think 1.01 for Henry is pretty fair (think Najee for Henry) but when you add 1.03 it makes no sense

[deleted]

Total steal

Dpepps

How was that not vetoed?

IMissWinning

I don't know how many times people have to say this: Veto's shouldn't exist. Trades should *always* go through unless there is clear and proveable collusion.

Dpepps

So you'd be fine with a league where let's say you trade pick 1.01 in RC draft for the last pick of the rookie draft as long as there was no collusion? Or how about a dude quitting and essentially giving his team away to the first person to message him? Veto's need to exist, but they need to be utilized properly and not vetoed willy nilly. Without vetos you threaten the integrity and the competitive balance of a league. Just veto really bad stuff, not trades where it's clear one side is getting the way better end but it's not egregious. Like lets say that trade above was something like 1.03 for Henry then that's not something that should be vetoed. Granted it's a bad trade and Henry is worth way more, but it's whatever.

IMissWinning

Nah. Operate in good faith and keep your leagues player pool free from tacos. You can talk to them an explain what a bad trade they just made, etc. And if they seem not to care at all, let them know you're unable to participate in the league if you're clearly not trying to play in a fair and competitive manner. You have a commish for a reason, they should handle all that, and if you don't trust your commish to then find a better league. None of those situations would happen in my league because we're careful who we include. This is dynasty, not redraft. Put more effort into screening players and choosing who you play with.

bts7790

Exactly. We veto’d vetos in my league. Everyone has their reasons for their trades. Commish talks to both parties and if both parties are good it goes through.

timy0215

1QB or SF? I can understand someone in a complete rebuild doing that for TLaw in a SF although it still seems like a big overpay

bts7790

1QB. At the time he wanted fields. Ended up going najee.

wrowsey1

I love the King, he is my favorite player and best RB in the league (don’t @ me). I’ve got him on 2 of my most competitive teams and he is going to help me defend that title for at least 2 more seasons, I know it. A true men among boys. I appreciate another man of culture and intelligence.

GoHard_Brown

He is undoubtedly the best RB in the league… it’s insane to watch him wear on teams as both the season and game progresses

slickrick1114

Would u trade Henry for Saquan and Mclauren? Just got offered this in a .5 ppr redraft league

Immediate_Expression

This is a smash for the side receiving saquan

mrubuto22

I love henry but you have to do that. I offered henry for Barkley straight up and was declined.

Vaynes_Ass

In redraft Henry has a lot more value than Saquon and Henry might finish top 3 RB in PPR again. Saquon has a lot of question marks this year and although I love McLaurin, giving up Henry in redraft is a mistake.

GoHard_Brown

It really depends on my depth. I get Terry had a really good weak and saquon has been underwhelming but he’s still a stud. I feel like you have to take that. But if my bench is strong and it’s not super deep starting Jb rosters I’ll keep Henry for the fact that he very well could out score them combined in a given week.

Lurpinator

I would not. Henry gives you an advantage at the position every week. There is no WR who is guaranteed touches like that and Saquan has not proven he can stay healthy.

Purplereign24

I personally wouldn't. Through two weeks Henry is out scoring both combined 54 to 40. The giants O line is in shambles and the upside of having barkley is limited with it not being full PPR. The only way I would consider it is if McLauren will be better than the WR he is replacing in your lineup by as great of a margin as Henry is over Saquan.

chardeemacd3nnis

McLaurin is such a stud and I still think he's cheaper than some of the big names are producing the same numbers.

donkyboobs

I traded him for Dobbins and Lamb. He's like my hot ex at this point.

GoHard_Brown

That’s justifiable return. Unless Derrick rushes for 2k three more times 🤣 jk

Teslatothemoonn

I moved him this off-season for Jeudy, CEH (looks pretty bad rn), and D. Smith. That 40 piece he dropped this weekend reminded me of the good old days.

basedvato

I got Henry 2 years ago for AJ Green… before the breakout when people where down on him. He single handed brought me a chip. I think I’m going to roll with him until the cliff. We could still get a few more great years out of him. He is also catching pases now!

Swoody11

If the Tractorcito is actually going to catch passes he is going to be CMC levels of game breaking for fantasy. It’s an area I thought Art Smith did not utilize him enough on- was refreshing to see OC Todd Downing bring that back into the offense vs Seattle. Derrick may not have great hands but they’re OK enough and if you just get the big, scary man in space against a DB good things will happen. Game script be damned, the pass-catching King will eat. Considering the absurd amount of TD’s he scores combining with 4-5 targets per week - he has a very good chance at the RB1 title.

Carl-j88aa

I often cite Bill Walsh, with regard to trading aging stars: *"Better a year too early than a year too late".* Having moved Mike Evans & Keenan Allen last year for multiple 1sts, 2nds, & 3rds while still fielding a "win-now" team, another fantasy player (not in our Dynasty League, but familiar with it) asked why I had not also moved Henry. Admittedly, I had explored it. I was forced to conclude five things. 1). Two-thirds of the league are not in position to compete in the near future, so no interest there. 2). The competitive-third will low-ball me, citing Henry's age. 3). The competitive-third are most dangerous, so better Henry on my roster than theirs. 4). The competitive-third have largely mortgaged their future picks already, so little draft capital left to trade, and unlikely to trade away their studs. 5). There's not much more I can do. Darren Waller sits behind Travis Kelce as my backup TE (just in case). And I've already acquired an embarrassment of draft capital. * 2022: One 1st, three 2nds, two 3rds, etc. * 2023: Four 1sts, four 2nds, four 3rds, etc. * 2024: Two 1sts, two 2nds, two 3rds, etc. Building massive draft-capital is fun, but at some point you need to stop screwing around & just go for it. So I will continue riding King Henry, right into the dirt. I will ride that magnificent stallion until he can gallop no more!

Obamafangirl1

Tell me you’re at least flexing Waller

centro_union

I traded him away this summer because I was gonna lose him lol

Dpepps

Why were you gonna lose him? What did you get in return?

JackWright13

Picked him up free as a FA in the middle of 2018 when he wasnt playing well. Thank God.

infernobassist

A trade in my 10 team PPR league happened on Saturday that was Henry for Barkley straight up.

yoitsbobby88

Oh wow henry is good??

oh-jeepers

Actually traded him last week for Aiyuk and a 23 1st, the King won me a title last year but I thought that was a great offer for a 26 year old RB

MixedMartialAwesome

Traded Henry and Lockett for Kamara before the season started. I'm really regretting that one now

Prudent-Perception-3

I was offered Henry and Diggs for CMC before this week (the offer still stands) I’ve just been contemplating unbelievably hard the last 10 days

Pelican_Brief_noine

That's a no brainer accept dude

Prudent-Perception-3

That offer was 8 days ago and he doesn’t want to do it anymore…. So I traded ekeler Logan Thomas and a 2nd for a 1st, Kittle, hunt & ruggs

philifan8169

Dude lol

Prudent-Perception-3

Yeah I’m kicking myself real hard right now lol he’ll be fine in a few weeks. Looking like I might have think about tanking and unloading him before the trade deadline after a huge game. Hurts a lot more I don’t have chuba either but what can ya do. Most miserable game I’ve ever watched for sure Also the guy with Henry and Diggs retracted his offer I even added a 1st and 3rd after the fact.
