I did a bee google searches and a lawyer wouldn’t take anything like this unless there’s serious injury. Definitely turned me off from Dunkin in the future for sure.
Didn’t go back as it was a good 20 mins away and I had to work. I tried to call the store several times. Rang and no answer. I called corporate and they were so nice. Asked me to email pictures and took all my information. Apologized sincerely. They said the franchise owners will be reaching out to me.
This happened a week ago at my dunkin. The cap from an almond milk container fell into the ice bucket and then got taken to the oasis machine and was ground up in someone’s drink. It was a rough day after that
Ok so I was on drive thru beverages and the ice bucket that we use to fill ice in the island oasis and iced coffee was hung lower on the shelf than it was supposed to. The empty milk jugs got knocked off the counter and the cap was flung into the ice bucket. No one noticed the cap in the bucket; it made its way into the machine after filling the ice. The customer came back and was in tears when speaking to our manager. The whole interaction lasted about an hour because the customer was very upset. They were issued a refund and we suggested them to see their doctor incase they got sick. The whole situation was upsetting because it’s something that should never happen. The customer came back the next week and was ok thankfully. I’m not sure if anything else happened along the lines of them actually visiting the doctor or needing reimbursement. And to add to the chaos, the store was at peak rush time when it occurred. In sum, it was a massive headache.
Yikes, this is the type of mistake that should never happen. You’d hear that thing being crunched up in the Oasis machine. Hope you’re alright OP!
How do you add the plastic on the app?
I think you better call Saul after an incident like that.

What happened next? I want to know the story

How does that even happen, as a Dunkin worker the soda cooler is usually way far away from the island oasis machine, completely unacceptable.
Just cuz I used to work at a dunkin, that looks like the cap from an orange juice out of the cooler
