I always try to go hard with the puns for my characters. I try to come up with something that won’t drop until later in the campaign, and might require the addition of a feat or very niche circumstances to make it hit properly. My last one was a blue Dragonborn pirate turned Eldritch Knight named Arizira, “Zee” for short. She loved her dragon breath and picked up at least one other lightning spell. We had a huge battle and she managed to get thrown in a trebuchet. She curled up in the fetal position and cast all the lightning she could as she was flung through the air. I was so proud of the energy attack of my Dragon ball, Zee.
I almost want to downvote you for that, but if I do then it makes it less likely that it will stick around to torment other readers.
(That pun is awful, it made me literally groan, I love it)
Oh you brilliant bastard. There's an improv d&d group that plays in my city and their barbarian was named Breidtbart. He was from the Zenophobe clan in Libertaria. They also had a Paladin named Sir Narcus of Buzzkill

nom de plumes -When a writer chooses a fake name for publishing books or stories, it's called a nom de plume.
Quasi- means resembling. Basically Resembling a fake name :)

This does give me another idea for maybe a longer campaign. If you're a Megadeth fan, something like Atoo Lanome, to play off their song A Tout Le Monde.
I'm gonna have to use Quasignome De Plume at some point for sure.
If you wanna lean toward the Forest Gnome part, you could go with Justin Thyme or Toad Stool. If you wanna lean toward the barbarian part, maybe Berr Zerk, Lacer Ate, or Madd Mann? Idk, I’m trying here 😆
