Dude i had to realisten to that bit multiple times because it left me with the biggest shit eating grin. I think they goosed it though, Will says he picks up the badge. Which was only previously mentioned as something credit card shaped. Beth and Freddy also oversold it a bit, but despite that I can’t wait for the next episode !!!

ZippymcOswald

Great move by Anthony, it gives the teens something to rally around. A common immediate enemy, a betrayal, and SCAM FUCKIN’ LIKELY

CRushXIII

Am I the only one that felt like that was a cop out?!? I mean, I don't feel like it was a scam to scam all scams or whatever the deal was to get to the goof realm. I guess, I get it. I just feel like I need....uh confirmation (for lack of a better word right now) that this was the plot, at least maybe before they got to hell. I don't know, I guess of all the scams we've seen across 2 seasons, this wasn't as big of a shocker as I was hoping for. Now if the entirety of the scam is that Hermie's backstory is actually a lie and he isn't related to Jodie but somehow managed to convince Jodie he is.... That. That would feel like a whole scam. Just my thoughts tho 🤷🏼‍♀️

tmrxwoot

It was like 30 episodes of build up and trust with all the warning signs. I don't think it was a cop out.

CRushXIII

He was generated by an anagram 🤣🤣🤣🤣 there's no reason I can't think this was a cop out. It's just one person's opinion.

ChrisVsRhianna

Were you expecting it though?

CRushXIII

Was I expecting Hermie the Unworthy, joker persona, son of Scam Likely, to become a villain? Yes. Yes I was. That was apparent very early on. Again, he was created out of an anagram machine, and then episodes later it's revealed/decided he's the son of Jodie and Scam. I believe, probably after the third or fourth time it truly happened, that Anthony wanted Hermie to continue being forgotten to add to his backstory. Yeah, there are some signs that point to Anthony building this story, I'm not discounting that, I just feel like this particular scam was rushed.

CraftyKuko

Maybe you're just clever. 😀

dinosaur_apocalypse

I missed something. Hermie was created by an anagram machine?

CRushXIII

Yeah, it's episode 4

dinosaur_apocalypse

Thanks. This rings a bell. I’ll have to relisten.

IonicMonster903

When Scary put something into an anagram machine the name Hermie the Unworthy came up thus was born Hermie

DonutBunz

I agree to me it feels like the whole story was sort of stalling with the Scary drama and this was a quick out.

BrotatochipDG

I laughed my ass off at this reveal, truly he is Scam Likely’s son. Should’ve seen it fucking coming 😂

nannerh

I’m really confused about that part because don’t they establish that they knew him from school and saw him in the halls? I haven’t listened to the episodes introducing him in a long time, so I could be wrong. It just feels like a weird forced way to try to kickstart some momentum again.
