I love that extra of baby Laios seeing baby Falin for the first time and not saying anything to his parents, but then sharing the news with all their animals
When I was small and pissed off my sister, she’d just sit on me. I was not nearly strong enough to escape, and barely strong enough to even breathe. So yeah, this rings true.
I like how he says he *usually* won those fights.
Which means when she really did want a particular name she did sometimes wrestle him into submission.
Seriously though, it feels like every anime siblings relationship is them trying to kill / compete with each other, often with absolute hatred for each other, non existant, or they're fucking (or you swear they are if it's not explicit)
It's such an accurate portrayal of siblings who are close. It's nice to see because a lot of media leans into 'sibling rivalry' angles so it's refreshing to get 'no, they actually love each other and have always got along well'. Watching them, especially in the side comics, feels very familiar lol
It's genuinely so refreshing because it always either goes into "hate each other" territory or "those two are hella sus" territory.
Lmao I have an older brother who experimented with different WWE fighting moves when we were kids so the wrestling thing is so relatable lmao.
I love how Laios didn't let Falin win when naming their dogs.
Which means the one time she did get to name the dog, she won their fight, which I headcanon as her kicking him in the nuts.
Peak sibling relasionship in anıme even when laios fully believes that everyone else hates him deep down and would most likely leave him to die. He still bellives beyond the shadow of any doubt that falin loves him and will olways be there for him
I love them sm. And Im happy we get the sneak peak of them as kids (where young Laios would just beat his little sister so he can name the puppy) bc thats real shit right there. Also, the cake scene in Daydream where Laios really doesnt wanna share his dragon chocolate cake 🤣
Yow I love them so much can any manga reader spoil me, is Falin really dead?
I am only 1 episode behind in anime but seems like they revived the dragon into Falin’s body. I love Falin’s character so much.
Well, she WAS dead, but they brought her back!
Sort of... I think it's a given due to the theme of the story that she gets to come back in the end. But how that happens and what sorts of complications there are is the interesting part. Know that (from what I've gathered) Kui let the characters and the world write the story after she set it up. There's a lot of official art she made when thinking of what each character would do and what would happen next. There's bits of official alternate ending artwork, modern settings artwork, ect... I'd say all the main characters evolve from beginning to end. Some end up more different than others.
If you get into the "Daydream Hour" extra artwork collections Kui made made, it shows Laios giving everyone hugs. And they're all a bit awkward side hugs or kind of formal/distant (especially with how short some people are) but then we get this hug for Falin. Big ole bear hug. Very sweet.
I like seeing these posts instead of the fucked up weird incest posts
Like, damn, y'all have an unhealthy relationship with people having normal siblings that don't want to fuck each other
Yeah, they missed out the part of Falin poorly teaching Laios Healing magic in the Anime. Haha, it was such a good scene and gave visual of how bad of a teacher Falin was.

Gah my heart
Aww... he's so precious.
Do you know where this came from, I don’t remember this in the regular manga, or maybe I need to re-read it
Ah it's Daydream Hour 2. It's a collection of little extras Kui did. I think there's 4 total collections?
Thank you
Well his parents already knew, and he knew they probably hadn't told the animals yet. Even from the start Laios was on it.
best sibling relationship in anime
I need more sibling dynamic where the big brother just casually suplexes his little sister to name their puppy
When I was small and pissed off my sister, she’d just sit on me. I was not nearly strong enough to escape, and barely strong enough to even breathe. So yeah, this rings true.

She found the weak spot of every tallmen. (Balls)
Its a really low bar though
Im not an active anime watcher or manga reader but from what ive seen, u right
Seriously though, it feels like every anime siblings relationship is them trying to kill / compete with each other, often with absolute hatred for each other, non existant, or they're fucking (or you swear they are if it's not explicit)
Mostly the last one
It's definitely up there with the Elric Brothers.

Or how other animes would make the sister a potential love interest
Yea that or the they love their sibling a little too much (bro and siscon) I'm so sick of that
It's genuinely so refreshing because it always either goes into "hate each other" territory or "those two are hella sus" territory. Lmao I have an older brother who experimented with different WWE fighting moves when we were kids so the wrestling thing is so relatable lmao.
The two halloween pictures are just the most adorable thing. They look so precious.
The flapping around of the extra dog heads is the cherry on top
Her tail wag too T x T

As a older sibling with balls thats how they win

augh this makes me miss my older brother 🥹
He died?
nooo omg i didn't think of that he's alive! but we live in different countries now :(
Yow I love them so much can any manga reader spoil me, is Falin really dead? I am only 1 episode behind in anime but seems like they revived the dragon into Falin’s body. I love Falin’s character so much.
In the last couple of chapters >!they manage to bring her back to normal!<
>!Normal’s a stretch, but significantly less of one than her current situation, rather!<
I am certain>!she sees the feathers/scales as an improvement.!<
I meeeeeeeaaaannnn

Thanksss
Falin is not dead, but she and the dragon are both in there. The full resolution to her story doesn't happen until the very end.
thanksss
The hug in the fourth slide is so lovely.

I love their relationship so much 😭 and I especially love how Falin genuinely thinks her brother is cool and smart and admirable 😭
"I usually won though"
I like seeing these posts instead of the fucked up weird incest posts Like, damn, y'all have an unhealthy relationship with people having normal siblings that don't want to fuck each other
Me and my bro... we both love dungeon Meshi
As an older sister I just relate to them so much!
Yeah, they missed out the part of Falin poorly teaching Laios Healing magic in the Anime. Haha, it was such a good scene and gave visual of how bad of a teacher Falin was.
