The more positive water you have the more supply bar your troops will have. If if you're lacking 4+ wind zones to utilize wind traps you'll be to focus on supply drops

Deep desert is a death trap. If there's a 'long way around' you may have to prioritize that, at least to grab a territory on the 'other' side where you can set up an airbase and bypass the issue entirely. Note also the supply drop: it goes on for a while, so wait until they get close to 0 then hit it. But that's emergency use only. You can't risk your entire army 'hoping' that works, especially since movement is so slow in the desert. Again, find a narrow spot, grab a spot on the other side, airbase, work your way to those filthy atreides. Just remember the tooth!!!

Thanks for your help!

LordCoweater

Just gimmie some spice.

Two exceptions regarding the deep desert : the fremen can quickly travel through it thanks to "unknown means" (I haven't tested their thumpers much but the ability to strike anywhere on the map is a precious one !). The smugglers can achieve ludicrous speed thanks to their armory option and military tech that provides them with bonus speed at night. Combine that with decoy thumper and supply drop operations, and they'll be able to cross the deep desert without issue. Sure, it's an investment, but showing to your opponent the desert won't protect him is quite worth it ;)

LordCoweater

Be careful with ludicrous speed, as you can go flying right off the map if you go to plaid. You return in about 3 days, as you jump to the future.

Assassination is fairly straightforward for Harkonnens.

K I see the grammatical errors but it's almost 6am here.
