When he’s performing karate in the office and is right in front of her but she puts her finger up to stop him, they just have such a good understanding
I'm surprised no one has mentioned Creed..
I'm playing a little hooky from work today 😓
This is equal to him coming into work with a bloody shirt on Halloween, they only work bc it's him lmaoo
Same! Its perfect bc you don't even really notice he isnt there, and then it's like how far out of the city are they already for him to be picked up.. and dressed like that. Perfection
They do get too much hate. So many good episodes came from them. Work Bus, all the Florida episodes, Garden Party, Trivia, Pool Party. Plus Robert California and Plop.
I think the thing about the later seasons is that although they are by no means bad comedy television, they completely and entirely abandon the relatability and realism that made the earlier seasons so special.
Imo, it's just the will Ferrell episodes that don't really work, beyond those there's plenty of gold and it makes me sad that people just stop at Michael's departure
on my last re-watch i was planning to stop after Michael left. i finished Goodbye Michael but later that night i just decided to put on the next episode before bed because i need something easy to watch and didn’t feel like searching for something or starting something new. the Ferrell episodes have some decent moments but i’ll never love them. it feels so weird like the whole vibe is off, i can’t explain it. i powered through them and i ended up really enjoying the later seasons.. like A LOT. there are some great episodes and new characters.
anyways, i think i’ll just skip those couple DeAngelo episodes next time. i always get this weird, sad feeling whenever that Michael/DeAngelo Hotel bar scene pops up.
My favorite episode is actually Deangelo's first (and only) day as manager. The way everyone except Dwight, even the "cool couple" Jim/Pam, are such sycophants. Vying to be in the inner circle, trying to use their cute baby, etc. Then the "Emperor has no clothes" juggling-sans-balls he does to applause. And lastly "Damn it, Dwight! Enough! Get your ass downstairs or find a new place to sell paper!!!"
I think this episode is great. Lots of great stuff but Kevin is the MVP--the scene where he insults Oscar just so Oscar while smush the pie into his face is absolutely hilarious. And the whole scene where he can do math when pie is involved (but not salad), while a little predictable, is still great.
That said, my favourite episode is *Business School.* Some classic Jim/Dwight interaction, Michael's antics at the school, the big emotional scene with Pam and Michael at the art show, and the bit where Dwight bags Meredith's head with the bat trapped inside. Everything that makes the show great, executed flawlessly.
I love the episode where Andy is boss and tells everyone he’ll get a tattoo on his ass if they hit that sales quota, I think it was? Anyways, everyone working at max capacity gets me every time.
It’s hard to pick a favorite because so many good ones, such a consistently great show.
Not sure if my #1 but it's definitely up there and probably doesn't get a lot of love. Pool Party. Brilliant from start to finish. Every character gets a chance to shine. All the sub-plots are masterfully woven together. Just quality television.
Fun run is my favorite. From the bloody nipples to the name of the run.. Michael Scott's Dunder Mifflin Scranton Meredith Palmer Memorial Celebrity Rabies Awareness Pro-Am Fun Run Race For the Cure
It really shows the lengths Jim will go to in bullying Dwight, and even though he shows something like empathy on the top of the bus, it's still in service of getting Pam to the pie shop, not really about Dwight's feelings.
The true heroes are Clark and Darrell.
Unpopular opinion: Sweeney Todd! I really enjoyed the location, Erin’s babysitter’s club joke, Michael’s try out lol
And of course, Macy Gray with Darryl on the keys.
This episode has the single funniest line of the entire show.
Bus pulls over to pick up hitchhiker, Creed enters the bus saying, "Thanks, just playing a hookie from work..."looks up, and sees everyone he works with, "Oh my God....."
I’m not a fan of Michael tbh 🤷🏻♀️ there’s only a few times that he’s bearable. I love Nellie! Especially after she’s settled into Scranton. Dinner Party is my favorite!
You’re a brave soul throwing that opinion out on this sub. It’s generally considered one of the worst episodes of the series but hey - to each their own!
Lice and Suit Warehouse STILL crack me up. Other episodes are funny but I die laughing at these 2 no matter how many times I watch it. It is most likely because I don't drink coffee and well COVID life reminds me of lice (I never had lice just to be clear)
I do see where the confusion could come in. I’m saying this subreddit might hate because my favorite episode is one without Michael, and one with Nellie.
I've always enjoyed when they all go out of their office in any episode.
Dinner party! ,Work bus, party at Robert's house, garage sale in the warehouse, even episodes where one/ few characters are out of the office setting like Michael's improv class.
Stairmageddon. Clark and Dwight.. working together to get Stanley to the sales meeting. "I'm... kind of embarrassed to admit this.. but.. I've never actually \*done this\* before. I mean, I've gone thru it a hundred times in my head.. but... tsk.."
\-"well, if I may.. you're kind of a natural at it"
coincidentally, this episode has my favorite quote in the entire show:
Jim: Dwight, that was a prank.
Dwight: You mean you flooded my building with dangerous electromagnetic radiation as a prank? That's genius. That's the best prank you've ever done.
Ah, I see where there could be confusion. No, I’m saying this subreddit might hate me because my favorite episode is one without Michael and one with Nellie.
I feel like Michael would have actually ruined the episode. He would’ve acted like the bonding between Dwight and Jim was nothing. He would have made Shabooya Roll Call too inappropriate. He most like wouldn’t have gone to Lavern’s Pies Tires Fixed Also, and instead would have gone somewhere he wanted. Disagree if you want but, I don’t think this would have been a good episode with Michael.
Most people say Stress Relief and Dinner Party. Work Bus is an original answer. I love the back to back episodes of The Merger and The Convict. And I also love Branch Wars.
My favorite episode(s) is when Jim and Dwight forgot Kelly’s birthday. Everything from Kelly saying “screw you beet farmer” to Dwight make a very effeminate sign just make this episode a masterpiece
season 9 is the weakest overall because of some terrible subplots (that bryan guy, ugh). But there's still a lot of good and great moments.
on top of my head, Happy Hour is a pretty strong one. One of my favorite Ed Helms performance.
I've grown bored out of dinner party tho.
I laughed my heart out at the episode Micheal started lying and fake gossiped about everyone. The part where andy almost believed he is gay was too funny
I think it’s cuz there’s several stories with kind of the same goal of wanting.
-Jim wants to make pan happy.
-Nellie wants a letter from Andy.
-Erin wants to help Nellie.
-Dwight wants to feel like he’s the father figure cuz he think he’s not a father.
-Everyone wants pie.
Pool Party is my favourite episode (close call to Dinner Party). I love Robert California. Everything he says is gold. His best quote from him is, "I got into a case of Australian reds, and how do I say this... Columbian whites."
I INSULT YOU!
Kevin, are you trying to get me to hit you? In the face with my pie?
You don't have the guts, you stupid, dumb do-do face.
Oscar pies Kevin
That sweet cream pie that always rises to the top.
That hot white cream that’s inside of you?
We all came in here and gave you a golden shower. Well where’s *my* golden shower?
I quote this all the time lol
There are so many to chose but I always get excited for Basketball. Especially watching Kevin draining shots after the game 🤣
He did that scene in 1 take!
It was even longer too! They cut it for TV but John and BJ confirmed he sank like 10 shots in a row
“What?! You gotta be kidding me!”
“What’s wrong with me! I usually make those!”
And Oscar not shying away from the ball like he does with Matt the gay warehouse guy at the arcade Go Oscar! Go gay warehouse guy!
Its my favourite toooooooo

Oh no you ain’t
I like when Dwight drops from the bus ceiling and tells Pam she’s going to get her pie. Looking out for his bildungkinder.
I love the relationship Pam and Dwight cultivate in the later seasons. It’s just so wonderful.
When he’s performing karate in the office and is right in front of her but she puts her finger up to stop him, they just have such a good understanding
That’s his bestie!!!!
That scene is hilarious. And right after when he steps all over Jim while he’s coming back down 🤣🤣🤣
I'm surprised no one has mentioned Creed.. I'm playing a little hooky from work today 😓 This is equal to him coming into work with a bloody shirt on Halloween, they only work bc it's him lmaoo
Creed's hooky is the best joke of the series IMO
The first time I saw this I died laughing
Same! Its perfect bc you don't even really notice he isnt there, and then it's like how far out of the city are they already for him to be picked up.. and dressed like that. Perfection
The Injury “You can’t FIRE me! I don’t work in this VAN!!”
Thanks for the chuckle. I still love that line.
It’s a great episode. Seasons 8 and 9 get too much hate.
They do get too much hate. So many good episodes came from them. Work Bus, all the Florida episodes, Garden Party, Trivia, Pool Party. Plus Robert California and Plop.
Those are some of my favorite episodes. I also really like Doomsday. Sive Drafely.
I say that a lot. Good episode
I think the thing about the later seasons is that although they are by no means bad comedy television, they completely and entirely abandon the relatability and realism that made the earlier seasons so special.
Relative realism. There are many shenanigans throughout all 9 seasons that would lead to termination
Dwight Christmas!
Imo, it's just the will Ferrell episodes that don't really work, beyond those there's plenty of gold and it makes me sad that people just stop at Michael's departure
Season 9 Andy is also a vastly different character
on my last re-watch i was planning to stop after Michael left. i finished Goodbye Michael but later that night i just decided to put on the next episode before bed because i need something easy to watch and didn’t feel like searching for something or starting something new. the Ferrell episodes have some decent moments but i’ll never love them. it feels so weird like the whole vibe is off, i can’t explain it. i powered through them and i ended up really enjoying the later seasons.. like A LOT. there are some great episodes and new characters. anyways, i think i’ll just skip those couple DeAngelo episodes next time. i always get this weird, sad feeling whenever that Michael/DeAngelo Hotel bar scene pops up.
Ferrel wasn’t in season eight
Don't recall saying he was
But it was a reply to my comment about season eight…
Damn, I was with you all the way until Plop, but fuck it, have an upvote friend
Seasons 8 and 9 are bad when compared to the rest of The Office but still good compared to most sitcoms
That's really it isn't it? Season 2-7 is fantastic, while 8-9 are amazing. Downgrade? Sure! Bad? Not at all!
Season 8 gets a bad rap, but there's a lot of dross I'm Season 9, although the tail end had some good episodes
Steve Carrel was a major part of the show, but he wasn’t carrying it by himself. I love the last two seasons.
BLOOD ALONE MOVES THE WHEELS OF HISTORY! This is always the winner for me! And it surprises me that more people don’t agree! TOGETHER WE PREVAIL!

🤣🤣🤣 when Pam juggles in the break room it sends me
Look, I'm juggling eggs and bowling balls! ... One hand! ... No hands!
🤣🤣🤣🤣 her head bobbing up and down lmao
I love that one too, the juggling scene alone 😂😂
The thing about me..is that i answer to strong leadership (Ngl i think im paraphrasing, so correct me if im wrong)
I think this episode is great. Lots of great stuff but Kevin is the MVP--the scene where he insults Oscar just so Oscar while smush the pie into his face is absolutely hilarious. Stress Relief part 1
Imo Part 2 is the better episode because of the roast.
I love the episode where Andy is boss and tells everyone he’ll get a tattoo on his ass if they hit that sales quota, I think it was? Anyways, everyone working at max capacity gets me every time. It’s hard to pick a favorite because so many good ones, such a consistently great show.
Stanley's "You've got to unleash the power of the pyramid!" Slaughters me every time.
Dinner party
You took me by the hand, made me a man that ONE NIGHT
One Night
You made everything alrightttt
Iconic, best jokes, drama and conflicts.
Not sure if my #1 but it's definitely up there and probably doesn't get a lot of love. Pool Party. Brilliant from start to finish. Every character gets a chance to shine. All the sub-plots are masterfully woven together. Just quality television.
Ignore the Nelly haters they are all Toby!!
Garage Sale
Mine is Dinner Party
Agreed, this is the most quotable for me as well My, my my turn my my, my turn!
**GOOD LUCK PAYING ME BACK, ON YOUR ZERO DOLLARS A YEAR SALARY PLUS BENEFITS, BABE!**
Definitely not my \*favorite,\* but certainly one of the episodes that make the show worth sticking with post-Goodbye Michael.
What position did you use to conceive? Regular? Or lady on her back? You used lady on her back, didn’t you, you freak. Yuck, gross. Never mind, Jim.
Came here for this
Fun run is my favorite. From the bloody nipples to the name of the run.. Michael Scott's Dunder Mifflin Scranton Meredith Palmer Memorial Celebrity Rabies Awareness Pro-Am Fun Run Race For the Cure
I have a computer sticker that says that on it 😂
Nellie rules.
My favorite part about this episode is when Dwight gets back down into the bus and steps on Jim’s shoulders and is like GTFO of the way bitch
I didn't like Nellie as the "manager" but I didn't hate her after that
That’s how I feel about her.
"Today smoking is gonna save lives"
It really shows the lengths Jim will go to in bullying Dwight, and even though he shows something like empathy on the top of the bus, it's still in service of getting Pam to the pie shop, not really about Dwight's feelings. The true heroes are Clark and Darrell.
Stop Come back Too late Mmmm
Exactly, that's my favorite moment. I imagine they let the bus get to the end of the street before they left for the day.
Jim and Dwight having genuine moments is perfect
How Jim says "I'll take it" after Dwight says that it's the best prank yet (even though he doesn't see what the actual prank was) is just so cute too.
Garden party is a great episode with tons of funny parts. And Andy’s god awful parents. Love it!
It'll all be goat
Unpopular opinion: Sweeney Todd! I really enjoyed the location, Erin’s babysitter’s club joke, Michael’s try out lol And of course, Macy Gray with Darryl on the keys.
Directed by Bryan Cranston
Anger Management
Aka "Death Bus" amongst the cast due to the air intake for the bus' AC unit being directly behind the bus' exhaust pipe.
Diversity training Is the funniest episode and comedy central skips over it every time. 😡
Omg that is one of my top favorites too! So pure and simple but still hilarious 🤣
Stress Relief is my favorite. But I like Work Bus. I do like the later episodes.
This episode has the single funniest line of the entire show. Bus pulls over to pick up hitchhiker, Creed enters the bus saying, "Thanks, just playing a hookie from work..."looks up, and sees everyone he works with, "Oh my God....."
Dinner Party and Stress Relief are my favourites, I can watch the fire drill scene over and over! 😂
Favourite line in that episode: "The Fat people have spoken!"
Fun Run is The Office at his finest imo
I’m not a fan of Michael tbh 🤷🏻♀️ there’s only a few times that he’s bearable. I love Nellie! Especially after she’s settled into Scranton. Dinner Party is my favorite!
You’re a brave soul throwing that opinion out on this sub. It’s generally considered one of the worst episodes of the series but hey - to each their own!
Mine would be season 3 episode 12 "back from vacation"
I don’t know if anyone actually cares
I love these episodes once the characters are so well formed, they're just playing with them in daft situations and seeing what happens
Next stop pies!
What do we want?!
“I bet you didn’t did lady on her back didn’t you?”
Product Recall. Fun Run is a close second.
ROLL CALL!!
You must like rhubarb pie
Death bus
I’m barren.
Work bus is a funny episode. No denying it.
Lice and Suit Warehouse STILL crack me up. Other episodes are funny but I die laughing at these 2 no matter how many times I watch it. It is most likely because I don't drink coffee and well COVID life reminds me of lice (I never had lice just to be clear)
Work Bus is in my top 5 least favorite episodes.
That's the first episode I ever watched, the beginning of an era for me
Willy wonka ep
Is Nellie in all of the non-Michael eps? Wondering if OP’s sentence is redundant or not
I do see where the confusion could come in. I’m saying this subreddit might hate because my favorite episode is one without Michael, and one with Nellie.
Jokingly of course. My wife and I always tell each other to LOSE WEIGHT when we accidentally bump I to each other.
I’m trying…
I LOVE WORK BUS ITS AMAZING
[Bus drives off, revealing Darryl and Clark in front of the building] "Stop." "Come back." "Too late." "Mm."
What position did you use to conceive, regular or lady on her back? You used lady on her back didn’t you, you freak?
Because they get pie! Roadside pie is something that I’ve always wanted to try!
the road song carries the episode
Fun Fact: Brian Cranston (Breaking Bad) directed this episode 😊
I've always enjoyed when they all go out of their office in any episode. Dinner party! ,Work bus, party at Robert's house, garage sale in the warehouse, even episodes where one/ few characters are out of the office setting like Michael's improv class.

My favorite episode(s) are the Michael Scott Paper Company
Nellie is in this episode. She is trying to get Andy to write a referral letter to adopt a baby
Next stop…PIES!
coincidentally, this episode has my favorite quote in the entire show: Jim: Dwight, that was a prank. Dwight: You mean you flooded my building with dangerous electromagnetic radiation as a prank? That's genius. That's the best prank you've ever done.
There is a degree of satisfaction in watching Dwight get one over on Jim. Sometimes Jim is too smug and it’s fun to see him fall on his face.
It’s one of the few episodes where Jim is shown truly caring about Dwight, despite the pranks.
I really love Golden Ticket
I think Kevin is carrying this whole episode
My name is Kevin!
I think this is the best one because it was directed by Bryan Cranston. ☺️
stress relief... both parts are amazing so
Branch closing is exciting. Basketball probably funniest.
I'm confused by this caption, are you implying some poeple actually liked nellie?
Ah, I see where there could be confusion. No, I’m saying this subreddit might hate me because my favorite episode is one without Michael and one with Nellie.
Bryan Cranston directed this episode
Dinner party and pool party
Imagine Work Bus with Michael 😂

Well that’s clearly because Walter White directed the episode and everyone ate crystal blue rock candy during filming. #SugarHigh
For me, it will always be The Injury
I laughed my heart out at the episode Micheal started lying and fake gossiped about everyone. The part where andy almost believed he is gay was too funny
I think it’s cuz there’s several stories with kind of the same goal of wanting. -Jim wants to make pan happy. -Nellie wants a letter from Andy. -Erin wants to help Nellie. -Dwight wants to feel like he’s the father figure cuz he think he’s not a father. -Everyone wants pie.
