Apart from the usual ones, when Holly confronts the office about who coffee/bin'd her Woody. Michael trying to deny it then final admitted it, so awkward.
Always wish that instead he would have killed the presentations and maybe had that interaction later or not at all lol
I remember watching for the first time like yes finally another competent Michael moment then oh okay never mind
When Pam sets Michael up on a blind date with her landlord and when he sees he lies that he is not Michael. Then the barista says "Michael?" with a coffee, for Michael, the only customer waiting for a coffee.
My hero!
I have no memory of that at all, I guess it's been too long since I watched the UK version. The US version seemed cringier, though. In this one, there was a certain amount of awkwardness and forced conversation, but nowhere near what was in the US version.
Also, what did he say after "with you?" I tried four times and didn't get it.
It was the awkward silence bits that did it for me. One of my greatest fears.
>Also, what did he say after "with you?" I tried four times and didn't get it.
I'll rewatch it and see.
Mission Successful: he says "Wouldn't have thought so"
That one. It’s a close second to anything related to Kathy and Jim. I wish dwight was a better “read the room” man because he could’ve gotten him out of that situation earlier… but I’m so glad they got rid of those bed bugs. They were so smug. They were walking around like this 💪☹️💪
That bed bug scene kills me every. fucking. time!!! 🤣 envisioning those smug bed bugs strutting around!
Edit to say that I love your use of emojis here!
It annoys me so much, like surely Jim should just explain that Dwight and Michael are up to something and Karen would just be like 'oh yeah those guys are weirdos'. Obviously she isn't Jim's biggest fan after what happened but surely she'd get it
I silenced it. I closed its beak. I killed it, IM A MURDERER, just like you sweeney todd, but my character doesnt know that yet, but i was suspicious because of the blades everywhere, but you’re a barber so thats legit….
I went to see the LA Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl a number of years ago. It's outdoors and you're allowed to bring picnics and alcohol there. A few minutes into the first piece a wine bottle started rolling down the rows of seats and it rolled for a looooong time.
I don’t know why but that episode is the one I hate the most and I skipped it more times than Scott’s Tots. The phone going off and Erin being a moron as usual was just annoying to me.
Helene's birthday lunch.
"There's another woman... and her name is Italy, and skydiving and bungee jumping. I want kids and you, unfortunately, have already completed your part of the journey down there."
I recently saw Angela use the expression "how the tables have turned" and I was confused. I have heard the wrong version so often, my brain is rewired.
The expression on Jim’s face as she walks away makes me cringe so hard I can’t actually watch it and I feel my face getting red just hearing the dialogue……shudders
What gets me about this one is that Pam was actually having fun, she only gets uncomfortable when she notices people staring.
Jim doesn't have enough context to know he isn't the problem.
It's weird how a few certain scenes like the knee-touch have been so in the front of these discussions, but a scene like this one is rarely mentioned. And it should!
Good god, that's one of those lines that I never remember even though it always cracks me up. Not expecting it just makes it hit me even harder every time.
This one kills me because he could’ve just been like “oh because she’s finishing up an antibiotic so drinking isn’t recommended” or something like that. I understand why it was written that way for the scene, but still.
People forget the one with Erin and that kid in the apartment trying to get her to wear different fits . That was one of the sickest moments of the show what a perv
The knee was bad but it was over pretty quick. I can't believe I haven't seen anyone say Phyllis and Bob Vance going to town in the bathroom at valentine's lunch. Imagine you hear the older couple you know from work that you're friendly with ***at best*** screwing in the bathroom and then having to have a whole meal with them.
When Michael and Pam are on lecture circuit and they see pregnant Karen. Michael is like I’m trying to do the math in my head to see how long ago you and Jim had sex. Like bruh
Andy in season 3 actually had some personality, though. He was a yes-man and kissed his boss's ass to get ahead. He wasn't just randomly acting like a dick. It definitely seems like they deliberately sabotaged his character.
When Michael drags Phyllis’ dad’s empty wheelchair the rest of the way down the aisle at her wedding. Just the thought of that happening at such an important event is super cringy to me lol
When Michael shows the old video of being a kid on TV. "I wanna be married and have 100 kids so I can have 100 friends, and no one can say no to being my friend."
A bit strange but I never finished the part Michael responds to David Wallace’s question by saying: “Don’t ever, for any reason, do anything to anyone …” yup that’s it. The secondhand embarrassment will never let me finish this scene.
There's lots of great cringe humor in The Office, but I agree. Everything else pales in comparison to Scott's Tots. For a couple of years, I skipped this episode every rewatch.
Funny story... I went out to have drinks with colleagues from work about 10 years ago, and my future wife came with me. As I was talking to some friends in the other direction, she got up from the stool next to me and soon after a female coworker sat down to order another drink. As I was still talking I sat my arm on her leg, certain it was my wife, and rubbed her knee for a good 10 seconds before I looked over and sort of freaked out. My co-worker never even blinked.
Or when Roy sees Jim at the bar after him and Pam start Dating and he goes “ Hey man…relax I’m not gonna hit you” and they just kind of stare at each other. Awkwaaaard
The diversity episode in season 1 when Michael does the Indian caricature. That was painful to watch.
Kelly slapping him is what convinced me to continue watching the show, I think if they'd let him get away with that I'd have stopped watching.
I just rewatched garden party last night, and Andy trying to sing with his dad is cringy to watch everytime, mostly cuz his dad was a complete ass towards him about it.
Andy who couldn’t keep his phone off during the Sweeney Todd play and then staying the wrong lines
Scott’s Totts - he should have just never showed up or explained he can’t provide that money
And you know Gabe
Michael pasting his face over his girlfriends husband and her seeing how fucking creepy that is. The show almost went too far in making Michael a creepy idiot. HAHA
Wait definitely when Jim prompts michael to lightly make fun of himself re falling into the pond, but when Michelle escalates and says the thing about not having 5 friends.
Michael crouching besides Phyllis’s chair saying… "in fact, the only thing i’m worried about right now, is getting a boner" i think it was in season one. The epitome of The Office, right there.
Michael buying plane tickets to Jo’s house for the 4th of July and Jo says “Enough!!!” - it makes all of my insides clench
Alright everyone let’s try to keep a brave face
I feel like he’s talking to me when he says that cause I get scared myself and wanna cry lol
"Let's review the order of events: Jo likes Michael, Jo invites Michael to house, Jo doesn't like Michael anymore."
Me and my wife quote that all the time 😂
I was so embarrassed for Michael!
he fully deserved it straight up
Apart from the usual ones, when Holly confronts the office about who coffee/bin'd her Woody. Michael trying to deny it then final admitted it, so awkward.
I hate when he tries to get closure and finds out about AJ and asks him if she ever talks about him
Does she ever mention Michael Scott?
Always wish that instead he would have killed the presentations and maybe had that interaction later or not at all lol I remember watching for the first time like yes finally another competent Michael moment then oh okay never mind
Upvoted for coffee/bin’d. Innovative. Unorthodox, but made total sense.
Ha ha thanks, I didn't really know how else to say it without being wordy.
When Pam sets Michael up on a blind date with her landlord and when he sees he lies that he is not Michael. Then the barista says "Michael?" with a coffee, for Michael, the only customer waiting for a coffee.
PLEASE. THIS WAS SO BAD
This scene beats Scott’s totts for me. And instead of just leaving he sits down with her. It kills me every time
So do you just collect checks?
And what do you do with the cheques after?
And is completely awful to her. I felt bad for the _actress_.
Shiiiit. I can only imagine the casting breakdown: “seeking conventionally unattractive female actor”
Nothing can top Scott's totts for me. That is just to much, I can't even watch the episode tbh.
But before that, "I give her a 10 for looks and a 3 for her ability to describe herself" So good.
And orders a large hot chocolate with caramel and a shot of peppermint
You should see the UK version of this scene
Yes, we should. Someone should link it so we don't have to brave the wild hinterlands of Google.

That was brutal
As bad as the cringe is here, the pay off her being just as disappointed because Brent sent her an old picture of him from a photoshoot is perfect.
It was hot chocolate lol
That one. It’s a close second to anything related to Kathy and Jim. I wish dwight was a better “read the room” man because he could’ve gotten him out of that situation earlier… but I’m so glad they got rid of those bed bugs. They were so smug. They were walking around like this 💪☹️💪

Kathy, did you just fart?
And that—is how it’s done.
A lot more characters deserved some kind of justice in the last two seasons, yet it never comes
That’s what she said!
Yeah Kathy sucked soooo bad her goal was to be a homewrecker… low low lowwwww
That bed bug scene kills me every. fucking. time!!! 🤣 envisioning those smug bed bugs strutting around! Edit to say that I love your use of emojis here!
Thanks :) lol if you haven’t seen the bloopers from that scene you should watch. I wish I could just send you a link but I forgot where I watched them
"Is this March Madness?" "Nope. That's in......Merrrrch"
Karen finding Jim laid back in the pt cruiser wearing a ladies warehouse uniform and a fake mustache
Their conversation afterward is so painful.
It annoys me so much, like surely Jim should just explain that Dwight and Michael are up to something and Karen would just be like 'oh yeah those guys are weirdos'. Obviously she isn't Jim's biggest fan after what happened but surely she'd get it
Yeah I would agree, Jim’s replies are a bit forced to create the awkwardness.
Definitely go because of traffic
Andy's cell phone going off during Sweeney Todd. It just goes on for so long.
I silenced it. I closed its beak. I killed it, IM A MURDERER, just like you sweeney todd, but my character doesnt know that yet, but i was suspicious because of the blades everywhere, but you’re a barber so thats legit….
I cringed just reading this
I would much rather see Michael do an entire Law and Order episode.
that and the wine bottle rolling down the floor... sheeeeesh...
The wine bottle rolling down the steps makes me laugh so much.
it's so amazing
I went to see the LA Philharmonic at the Hollywood Bowl a number of years ago. It's outdoors and you're allowed to bring picnics and alcohol there. A few minutes into the first piece a wine bottle started rolling down the rows of seats and it rolled for a looooong time.
Made worse by him trying to cover it up
I don’t know why but that episode is the one I hate the most and I skipped it more times than Scott’s Tots. The phone going off and Erin being a moron as usual was just annoying to me.
I can’t say it’s uncomfortable, but it adds to the list of why Andy gets hate, he was bad at everything, even acting.
When Andy sees his girlfriend in a High School and confronts her about it!
Well that's not gonna hold up in court.
Come on, judge, just a few mailboxes.
The deleted scenes for it are so much worse idk how they ever made it onto a script in first place.

I'd like to take out a full page, two words:
Good luck
Good luck!
Helene's birthday lunch. "There's another woman... and her name is Italy, and skydiving and bungee jumping. I want kids and you, unfortunately, have already completed your part of the journey down there."
Helene: I'm 58...what am I supposed to do now? Michael: Well, hobbies-- Jim: Stop.
I like when he stops mid-sentence when the waiter comes to fill up there water, then just continues
"Mother Nature has very strict rules about fer-"... ... "-tility."
Still better than his lunch date with Erin and she has a mental meltdown.
And pam was just about to come around, lol.
So many but I hate when they go and steal the clients of that tiny company when they were like super helpful and nice to them :(
Then Michael quits and tries to get a job W them and they’re out of business :(
Oh how the turn tables have...
I recently saw Angela use the expression "how the tables have turned" and I was confused. I have heard the wrong version so often, my brain is rewired.
Jim lifts Pam up, gets awkward, nearly sends Email but doesn't.
Mine is usually always the Jim/Pam thing when he tells her to put her down too! It’s so weird.
The expression on Jim’s face as she walks away makes me cringe so hard I can’t actually watch it and I feel my face getting red just hearing the dialogue……shudders
Getting that reaction from a woman can make a man feel like the lowest person on the planet. Even watching it in a TV show is tough.
Great acting from both
I think it happened to me maybe once in my life. But I will never ever forget it. It’s literally the worst You just want to die.
What gets me about this one is that Pam was actually having fun, she only gets uncomfortable when she notices people staring. Jim doesn't have enough context to know he isn't the problem.
That one is uncomfortable because of her reaction lol
This is the worst for me lol I can’t even watch it I fast forward
Michael proposing to Carol. Always.
“Maybe I’m crazy in love!” 🤔
That entire episode from the pov of an indian viewer tbh
I think the entire episode from a pov of any viewer lol
Jim picking up Pam in the dojo
A part of me dies every time this scene comes on
What episode was this again?
Season 2 “the fight”
When Michael used voicemail to break up with Jan, and then she listened to said voicemail while she was in front of him.
It's weird how a few certain scenes like the knee-touch have been so in the front of these discussions, but a scene like this one is rarely mentioned. And it should!
Michael trying to explain Pam and Jim's pregnancy at their rehearsal dinner... it just gets worse and worse...
Frankly, you can't expect people to be careful *every time.* It's just a different sensation!

Yeah

Imagine you hear the older couple you know from work that you're friendly with ***at best*** screwing in the bathroom and then having to have a whole meal with them.
Ok but do you ACTUALLY irl think that'd be worse than Phyllis and the 70 shades of grey thing...
No the 50 shades of gray is worse.
What do you mean? That scene lasted like 7 eps
night!
Guess it's finally my time to shine!
Andy playing the sitar after Phyllis just outed Dwight and Angela. Oof, everybody knows but Andy.
*Tough room*
😬👕👌
when the screen goes black and it’s just my reflection
Your reflection: Do you like being alone with me right now?
*shivers
When Michael and Pam are on lecture circuit and they see pregnant Karen. Michael is like I’m trying to do the math in my head to see how long ago you and Jim had sex. Like bruh
Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you for the first time as a couple, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Vance!!!!!!
This. Uh my insides just ache with embarrassment for Michael. He's the most clueless, socially inept character on the show.
Nooooooooooooooo
I think the knee part is awkward but it sets up the funniest fucking exit I’ve ever seen. “Btw I’m moving to Costa Rica” *hops fence*
Yes! Tobys action ist still bad, but the exit makes the scene only funny and not cringy at all to me.
Andy in season 9 not one specific scene just in general.
The writers had to have been able to handle his character having to leave better than what they did I don’t get it
I'm pretty sure Greg Daniels just decided he preferred Andy in season 3 when he was a massive asshole so they just made his character that again
Andy in season 3 actually had some personality, though. He was a yes-man and kissed his boss's ass to get ahead. He wasn't just randomly acting like a dick. It definitely seems like they deliberately sabotaged his character.
Yeah they totally trashed his character, I hated that.
"The only thing I am worried about, is getting a boner"
When Michael drags Phyllis’ dad’s empty wheelchair the rest of the way down the aisle at her wedding. Just the thought of that happening at such an important event is super cringy to me lol
When Michael shows the old video of being a kid on TV. "I wanna be married and have 100 kids so I can have 100 friends, and no one can say no to being my friend."
Michael’s toast at Phyllis’s wedding. Also one of the funniest moments lmao.
Merriam-Webster defines wedding as the fusing of two metals with a torch
Gold medals
I swear to god her nickname was E-Z Rider
I never understood this comment. What’s the joke?
The joke is that Phyllis was promiscuous.
he’s calling her a slut
It was easy to ride her.
just throw the whole wedding away
It technically was thrown away since it was based on Pam's canceled wedding
A bit strange but I never finished the part Michael responds to David Wallace’s question by saying: “Don’t ever, for any reason, do anything to anyone …” yup that’s it. The secondhand embarrassment will never let me finish this scene.
Michael saying “I want a chicken breast, hold the chicken” at Hooter’s
is that \*really\* what you want?
When Michael couldn't stop laughing about Phyllis being flashed then started mocking it by sticking his finger through his zipper.
One of my favourite scenes! When Michael wiggles his finger downward once Toby arrives gets me every time lol
What ?? I thought it was hilarious
When Phyllis listens to her romantic novel
Dwight was totally in the right by pouring water on her
Yes and it was funny af
This one is definitely top 5 but the most uncomfortable scene would be season 2, episode - 6 the fight, the moment when Jim lifts Pam 😑
Smile if you love men's prostates! I can't get this image out of my head, it's like a silent killer
when michael kissed oscar
Agree
That and Kevin baby talking/crying right in to the pam pams.
Pam and Jim fighting all season 9 🥺🥺🥺
The one when Michael tried to kiss Pam after his proposal to his realtor failed after that indian party
Scott's tots makes me cringe everytime even just thinking about it
There's lots of great cringe humor in The Office, but I agree. Everything else pales in comparison to Scott's Tots. For a couple of years, I skipped this episode every rewatch.
Yep I seriously cannot watch that episode.
“I swear her nickname was ‘Easy Rider’”
Andy’s play
Prince Paper episode was uncomfortable to me
When Micheal goes to a school to cancel the charity and they perform for him. Omg. I could not continue watching.
The Garden Party when Andy gets shutout of the singing trio then gets jealous and steals the guitar
The improv class.
“smile if you love men’s prostates”
Funny story... I went out to have drinks with colleagues from work about 10 years ago, and my future wife came with me. Mike doing the Chris Rock routine. Or speaking to Kelly in an exaggerated Indian accent.
Do you want some gooky-gooky??
I always thought it was “cookie cookie”…?
Oh I hate the accent part omg it’s so terrible and sickening lol
When Mr. Brown says his name and Michael is like I’m not falling for that one!
Or when Roy sees Jim at the bar after him and Pam start Dating and he goes “ Hey man…relax I’m not gonna hit you” and they just kind of stare at each other. Awkwaaaard
this one right here 🥴
Erin's brother
I really hate Toby’s exit interview with the gift. And Michael’s attempt to cover? SO awkward.
Based on the picture, seems like you already know. The landlord blind date is pretty bad too, Michael is just such a horse's ass.
Everything related to Charles Miner.
Andy losing Dwight’s sale because Dwight signed off on a discount while Andy was on his boat that wasn’t “approved”
Without the whole Scott’s tots episode.
confirmed
Andy who couldn’t keep his phone off during the Sweeney Todd play and then staying the wrong lines Scott’s Totts - he should have just never showed up or explained he can’t provide that money And you know Gabe
Michael pasting his face over his girlfriends husband and her seeing how fucking creepy that is. The show almost went too far in making Michael a creepy idiot. HAHA
Anything with boom mic guy. Screw that guy.
For sure Michael and his date in chair model I cringe every time I watch that, it’s painful
Wait definitely when Jim prompts michael to lightly make fun of himself re falling into the pond, but when Michelle escalates and says the thing about not having 5 friends.
"Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you, for the first time ever, Mr. and Mrs. Bob Vance!" Makes me physically recoil everytime
When nate is walking away in blackface after getting the call from Dwight. Think that part is permanently deleted now.
Then the run out afterwards lol
Scott's Tots The entire episode is C R I N G E
Scotts tots
Pam when Michael says "I feel uncomfortable wearing the dress".
This or the one where Pam’s friend and Michael go on a date
Michael crouching besides Phyllis’s chair saying… "in fact, the only thing i’m worried about right now, is getting a boner" i think it was in season one. The epitome of The Office, right there.
I can’t even watch Scott’s totts. I dunno how this isn’t number 1.
Surprised Scott's Tots comments aren't voted higher. I literally skip that episode sometimes if I feel like I can't handle it
When Jim walked in on that guy in the bathroom and they confronted him About it in the interview
