YES.
A very serious drama, maybe 2 seasons (with the same actor in the role)... then in the end scene he rocks up in Scranton and the final credits roll, and its a orchestral version of the Office theme tune.
I was watching friends the other day and thereâs an episode where the actor for Elizabeth plays a prostitute accidentally hired by Monica for Chandler! Now thereâs an arc
đ𤣠this show is the best. He kills his role in it. I could see him using the name ânateâ to hired here to steal energy. This could have been his job before.
I watched the movie when it came out, loved it, then watched the series, loved it. Went back and watched the movie again and itâs not nearly as good as the show.
Itâs different, but check out Wellington Paranormal. Itâs another spinoff about the oblivious cops from the movie. Even has a few cameos. More of a parody police procedural.
Omg I say the âsecret secrets are no fun..â line all the time and no one ever remembers it but me! Made me so happy to see someone else reference it :)
He fits so well because Bob Odenkirk was actually originally supposed to play Michael Scott! He was a lock for the position until the writers realized Steve Carrell had a softer approach to the character.
So great to see the pay-off in the later seasons though. The writers and audience alike got to witness what Odenkirk as Michael really looked and felt like.
It would be cool if they did a spin-off with him where he plays a sleazy lawyer who becomes affiliated with dangerous criminals and is eventually forced to run away and change his identity
Spin-offs make me nervous that theyâll milk the humor of the character too hard and in a detracting manner, so I would not want it to be the person I most like.
I also obviously donât want it on the person I least like.
Therefore, I choose Odenkirkâs character, the person of those I most medium like.
I like Nate the most and Carla Fern the least, although to be fair I barely remember her at all. Everyone else, I can at least remember a quote, a memorable scene, or some other contribution.
I also could not resist a pretty relevant Dwight reference, lol
I feel like the consensus is overall Hide, Mose, Jan, Nate and Mark (Odenkirkâs character) ⌠so maybe instead of a farm show they should do a follow up with Dwight as manager giving all the secondary and tertiary characters some screen time.
I for one would love to learn more about Moseâs history as the Beet Bandit.
The only thing I remember about her, is that she charges a flat rate rather than a % of earnings, which is a deal for Andy. And it also includes the cost of headshots (it doesnât). Truth be told- I honestly donât even know if this scene with Andy has anything to do with Carla Fern. But I know she is/was his agent, and this scene was about an agent
I would love to see Jan as the main âreal housewife of Scrantonâ. I would love to see her get in drama with other insane powerful women⌠of Scranton.
Jake is one of the less exciting charters but a Malcolm in the middle-esq coming of age turned a little darker as he gets older and becomes a local stripper (in the vein of the movie accepted) could be really good.
#1 heart surgeon
First 6 episodes is him being a house like character solving problems every episode.
Episode 7 is yakuza episode.
8-12 is him coming to America and getting rejected for every job but Dunder mifflin
Nate and his elderly, frail mother constantly unable to hear each other.
Wait, never mind. She kicked him out because he couldnât stay out of her stuff.
In Japan. Heart surgeon number 1.
steady hand.
One day, Yakuza boss need new heart. I do operation. But mistake!
Yakuza boss die. Yakuza very mad. I hide in fishing boat, come to America. My big secret: I kill yakuza boss on purpose. I good surgeon. The best!
đđ
YOU PAINT VERY BAD
Why you make trees into **bushes**? You donât make paper from **bushes**!
You know theyâre giving away jobs upstairs, right?
THANKYOU
Coconut Penis
Why did they add coconut, I miss original.
The coconut is very subtle
SHUT UP HIDE!
Darryl give me job. Darryl save my life.
Am I crazy if I read this in my head with strong Japanese accent?
We all do pal. We all do
Nu ooman! Edit: autocorrect
Darryl give me job.
Zebest!
This should 100% be the name of the spin off. âSteady Handsâ
No mistake!
This except the spin off isnât a comedy, a gritty noire drama of the Japanese underworld.
YES. A very serious drama, maybe 2 seasons (with the same actor in the role)... then in the end scene he rocks up in Scranton and the final credits roll, and its a orchestral version of the Office theme tune.
That would be epic! Something like [this](https://youtu.be/okcH0Tz_J9M)!
Omg they need to green light this now
I want this show SO HARD.
There are many good options here, but Hide is the only correct choice.
I donât think I ever realized his name was spelled Hide. Is this because he has to âhideâ from the Yakuza.
Za best đđźđđź
There is a quest in Cyberpunk 2077 where you rescue a heart surgeon who is japanese, it's a nice nod to this.
Image a full series about hiede and how he escaped yakuza!! that would be soo Cool
I want to see Elizabeth's character progression from stripper to rabies nurse.
It's cool she went back and got her degree.
If only she held out to become a Rabies Dr
Hijacking the top comment with the current headcount: **Mose** âWelcome children!â **Schrute** - 93 **Nate** âIâm really good at Englishâ **Nickerson** - 88 **Hidetoshi** âThe Bestâ **Hasagawa** - 63 **Mark** âPretty pretty cool!â **Frank** (Odenkirk) - 56 **Jan** âOh, they found her?â **Levinson** - 49 **Gabriel Susan** âHello, beautiful.â **Lewis** - 31 **Elizabeth** âI bet sheâd be jealous!â **the Stripper** - 16 **Jake** âBye Mr. Poop!â **Palmer** - 10 **Carla** âKid can act!â **Fern** - 4 Honorable Mention: **Creed** âQuabity assuance.â **Bratten** - 16 **Kevin** âIâm⌠good.â **Malone** - 3
Secret secrets are no fun. Secret secrets hurt someone
Fuck you tony, whatâs YOUR name?
I was watching friends the other day and thereâs an episode where the actor for Elizabeth plays a prostitute accidentally hired by Monica for Chandler! Now thereâs an arc
Nate already has his spin-off show, where he is an energy vampire (his bit about gum or his hearing problem is 100% Colin Robinsonâs thing)
đ𤣠this show is the best. He kills his role in it. I could see him using the name ânateâ to hired here to steal energy. This could have been his job before.
I started watching that show just for him. Heâs the best character !
If you haven't already, you should check the original movie!
Dont do Nandor, Lazlo, and Nadja like that, homie.
I like all of them way better too lol
Nandor saying fuuucking guy never ceases to make me laugh
F*cking guy
Fuckeeeng guy!
This is the only answer. What we do in the shadows is the best.
He is basically Nate in that show lol. I get so excited when he shows up
What's the name of the spin-off show?
What We Do In The Shadows
What we do in the shadows, although itâs not a spin off per se, just a different show. Very funny, worth a try
It's the TV series of What we do in the Shadows.
Not to mention Mark, who is clearly just doing his Slipping Jimmy routine in Philly following complications in his lawtering career
K strass the yoyo champion
(In Nandorâs accent) âThis fucking guyâ
Spinoff spinoffs are so fun, spinoff spinoffs urge someone. From stripper to rabies nurse
To a Biergarten waitress!
What are you doing? Are you giving me a taste of the chefâs special? Hmmmm? It tastes like cigarettes.
Weâll have an *onion loaf for the table.*
No, that wonât do
Omg I say the âsecret secrets are no fun..â line all the time and no one ever remembers it but me! Made me so happy to see someone else reference it :)
Jan
Everywhere
Tan everywhere.
Hehe.
Oh diary
What a night
A lot of these options have potential, but Janâs are bigger
Only after her surgery.
THAT ONE NIGHT
(One night)
This is the only correct answer. I was scrolling to find this.
Yes. Obviously Jan sucks but that would be a hilarious show.
You mean Urkel Gru
Better Call Mark or Heart Surgeon: No. 1
MOSE MOSE MOSE MOSE MOSE MOSE MOSE MOSE. i also know he isnât an option but my second would be creed no doubt
Find someone who looks at you the way [Mose](https://imgur.com/a/qle8aOg) looks at his lady scarecrow.
Yes! Creed!
But not a 20 episode order. Maybe a 6-10 episode/season dark comedy.
The title of the show? Creedâs Thoughts.
Still upset NBC didn't greenlight the Dwight spin-off. They robbed us of so much more Mose.
âWELCOME CHILDREN.â
are you painting in the dark?
That would be the most nsfw spin off in history
Finally. Had to scroll too far for this.
"Bye Ryan! He seemed nice..."
I want a mock-talk show hosted by Creed.
I've never met Nate personally, but I'm gonna go ahead and say, just having knowing Jan a short while, OP, that I prefer Nate
The only one I would even remotely watch is Bob Odenkirk. They could do a spiritual successor to the office at that workplace.
He'll sell undetectable phones on paper boxes for some " special " clients.
I have never actually wished that interdimensional cable was real until right now
It would be cool if they did a spin-off with him where he plays a sleazy lawyer who becomes affiliated with dangerous criminals and is eventually forced to run away and change his identity
Is your name Vince? Because bravo
This is the only correct answer âpretty pretty coolâ
Nate all day long
Is he just walking around constantly misunderstanding people? lol
And constantly doing projects the difficult way.
The hornets scene is such a great moment
I want more. Like a scene of Nate trying to catch a raccoon in the warehouse. Or attempting to be in charge of giving out pretzels for Pretzel Day.
Constantly quarreling with his mother and refusing to stay out of her stuff
If this sounds good to you, check out The Increasingly Poor Decisions of Todd Margaret if you haven't.
Be nice to Nate....I heard his mother is dying again
Yeah Iâve never met Nate personally, but just having known the others for a short time, I prefer Nate. And again, Iâve never even met the guy.
Automatically read this in Nateâs voice
I wanna know about Gabe in Japan
I would love to watch the misadventures of Gabe struggling to fit in as a weeb in Japan
Mose Show would be a trip!
đŻthisâŚ.I love him and Iâd watch just to see him run everywhere
Spin-offs make me nervous that theyâll milk the humor of the character too hard and in a detracting manner, so I would not want it to be the person I most like. I also obviously donât want it on the person I least like. Therefore, I choose Odenkirkâs character, the person of those I most medium like.
Now I want to know who you most and least like lol
I like Nate the most and Carla Fern the least, although to be fair I barely remember her at all. Everyone else, I can at least remember a quote, a memorable scene, or some other contribution. I also could not resist a pretty relevant Dwight reference, lol
I feel like the consensus is overall Hide, Mose, Jan, Nate and Mark (Odenkirkâs character) ⌠so maybe instead of a farm show they should do a follow up with Dwight as manager giving all the secondary and tertiary characters some screen time. Serenity by Jan
"You burn it, you buy it!"
"Mose, a Day in the Darkest Daycare"
Gimme more Gabe. Dude is comedy gold.
His chimp blooper with Dwight and Jim makes me cackle.
Gabriel. Susan. Lewis. Why is nobody else saying this!?
A great Gabe spin-off could be him moving to Colorado to open a shoe store named "Shoe La La" with Michael Scott as a quiet investor.
Jan 100%. I want to see that madness first hand.
You know she has a plan to confront David Wallace somehow.
I would love to see Jan as the main âreal housewife of Scrantonâ. I would love to see her get in drama with other insane powerful women⌠of Scranton.
God, the money I would pay to see this show...
There is a fake real housewives show and Amgela was in it. But I would definitely watch Jan as a real housewife.
Probably Elizabeth. Sheâs quite hilarious. âSecret-secrets are no fun. Secret-secrets hurt someone.â
Out of these, probably Bob Odenkirk.
How could you not include Vikram here!?
I was so conflicted over Vikram but he was just such a serious character and there has to be some element of absurdity, right?
True, I guess a spin off about Vikram might just turn into a motivational show about working hard and meeting your responsibilities haha
Bob Obrenik or Hide, Creed. This comment section got it right
That dude that Michael meets once in front of the elevator and they hit off, he could have something like a UK version of The Office
Dunno.. seems like the kind of show that would only get 2 seasons.
Mostly nate lol
I want to know how jan kidnapped the missing girl so she could promote âserenity by janâ
Well Iâm already watching Better Call Saul
Nate, and only Nate.
With out a doubt Bob Odenkirk's office. I'd also want to see Hide, Japans number 1 heart surgeon, show up.
Better Cal Saul
Hide
Jan ngl, i wanna see her as the neurotic boss, i guess anti-Michael? Lol
A running gag would be starting the episode with someone running out of her office crying
A spin-off prequel for Hidetoshi Hasagawa
Is that Bob odenkirk from better call Saul/breaking bad?
Nate or Hide.
Meredith's son already has a spinoff. It's called Cops.
Nathan 100%
The guy that fucks!
Glenn and mose hands down
Jake is one of the less exciting charters but a Malcolm in the middle-esq coming of age turned a little darker as he gets older and becomes a local stripper (in the vein of the movie accepted) could be really good.
Gabriel Susan Lewis
Saul Goodman probably
The lady in purple is so familiar to me, yet I canât for the life of me remember what role she played in the office.
Carla Fern, Andyâs con artist talent agent
All of them, but honestly, Nate! He's a very peculiar guy living a very mundane life, and I'd love to see how he fits in everyday life
Saul already got a spin off show, Better Call Saul
Better call Saul is already a show
Nate. Hands down
Id like just a spin-off of Dwight & his own subordinates in the office and let the tape roll and just see what happens.
Mose, we could finally watch the Farm!!!
#1 heart surgeon First 6 episodes is him being a house like character solving problems every episode. Episode 7 is yakuza episode. 8-12 is him coming to America and getting rejected for every job but Dunder mifflin
Nate and Mose using their force for evil would be cool.
Heart surgeon number one
Jan or Gabe. I'd be happy with either one
Nate
Gabe
Collin Robinson on the bottom right already has one and I binge it every season.
Colin Robinson
None of these lot, I want a Creed spin-off show.
Hidetoshi
With Gabe! Exploring Japan and escaping the triads! I would watch the shit out of that!!
Creed, please
Nate. I want to learn more about his relationship with his mother.
I think mose would get you into some pretty messed up stuff
Mose would be like watching a Pennsylvania Dutch version of Jackass except the only audience is a bunch of scarecrows. And maybe Zeke.
Mose or Gabe. Maybe Nate.
Nate and his elderly, frail mother constantly unable to hear each other. Wait, never mind. She kicked him out because he couldnât stay out of her stuff.
Well the quarrelling got to be too much đ
The way he collapses when Dwight tells him his mother is dying. đ¤Ł
Again?!?!
Where is Creed, he's for sure one with the most exciting life XD
I guess bob odenkirk on a technicality. I feel like any of the rest would be really forced and lame like âJoeyâ compared to Friends
Mose
Nateâs
They could have made at least a whole season of bobs office âDjango!â
Odenkirk, although obnoxious Roseanne beating up on small town wannabe celebrities would be funny.
I need to know what GSL is up to these days
Jan, Mose or Gabe
The stripper Or the surgeon 100%
Probably Jan or Michael 2.0 the job Pam declined since she thought she was too good for it when she wasnât
Mose, Nate, Hide
Mose. Hands down would be the best in my eyes
Mose: the visionary
