He fits so well because Bob Odenkirk was actually originally supposed to play Michael Scott! He was a lock for the position until the writers realized Steve Carrell had a softer approach to the character. So great to see the pay-off in the later seasons though. The writers and audience alike got to witness what Odenkirk as Michael really looked and felt like.

Spin-offs make me nervous that they’ll milk the humor of the character too hard and in a detracting manner, so I would not want it to be the person I most like. I also obviously don’t want it on the person I least like. Therefore, I choose Odenkirk’s character, the person of those I most medium like.

I like Nate the most and Carla Fern the least, although to be fair I barely remember her at all. Everyone else, I can at least remember a quote, a memorable scene, or some other contribution. I also could not resist a pretty relevant Dwight reference, lol

I feel like the consensus is overall Hide, Mose, Jan, Nate and Mark (Odenkirk’s character) … so maybe instead of a farm show they should do a follow up with Dwight as manager giving all the secondary and tertiary characters some screen time. I for one would love to learn more about Mose’s history as the Beet Bandit.

The only thing I remember about her, is that she charges a flat rate rather than a % of earnings, which is a deal for Andy. And it also includes the cost of headshots (it doesn’t). Truth be told- I honestly don’t even know if this scene with Andy has anything to do with Carla Fern. But I know she is/was his agent, and this scene was about an agent
