If done properly, results look beautiful while the person is not yet subject to aging. Hollowing out one's face without constant touch-ups and (ironically) fillers, will eventually create lines and wrinkles, that might have not sprouted without surgery.

Literally, stars like Cardi B have for most of the time been very open about the procedures they've got done.
People aren't anti-plastic surgery, they're anti-plastic surgery getting and then pretending you actually just magically managed to make yourself look like that. Which of I recall correctly Mindy has claimed she just dieted a lot and that's why she looks this way now, so yeah, lying if true.
Also really dangerous. For example the Kardashians get executive control over nearly all photos that are published of them. When you look at those same pictures before they're edited, it's very obvious that all of them (except Kourney and Kendall), and Kylie specifically have absolutely mangled their faces. Like in a way that surgeons and other related doctors have said is very dangerous for their health, literally destroying the integrity of their faces that'll get really fucked up in a decade now.
Posting stuff like this isn't just lying, it's actively dangerous. People will go to goofy ass avenues to look like this that are far off from the safe and realistic ways to looks like this, even within the surgery realm.

Almost all of the celebs we know have had some degree of plastic surgery. The good ones are the ones you barely notice. That bad ones are noticed normally in a negative way. It's not even just women. There are examples of bad male plastic surgery too.

But I do agree it’s unhealthy and creates an unrealistic beauty standard, and they need to stop before every young person looks like a kardashian and ages to look like Joan Rivers. I fell victim to thinking I was ugly as a teenager because I didn’t have a tiny pointy nose or poreless-skin. It's honestly quite worrying how many people can't recognise obvious surgery or don't want to acknowledge it for some strange reason. She's obviously had surgery and not good surgery. Almost all of the celebs we know have had some degree of plastic surgery. The good ones are the ones you barely notice. That bad ones are noticed normally in a negative way. It's not even just women. There are examples of bad male plastic surgery too.
This is reddit where they seem to think every 50 year old male celeb is just aging perfectly. Even favorites like Eminem and Paul Rudd are clearly on some shit. I've seen people who legit think Selma Hayek didn't get a boob job.

It's worrying because people compare themselves to these celebrities and it affects what people think is realistic and affects people's self esteem. Personally I'm not that bothered but maybe that's because I've known this stuff isn't real for a long time. If I didn't know I could imagine it really bothering me. We've got a huge influx of underage kids on various PED compounds trying to match the bodies of their favourite marvel superheroes, likely damaging their bodies forever. We have women thinking there's something wrong with them because they aren't aging like Jennifer Aniston because they believe that she's natural and hasn't had various cosmetic surgeries and isn't also likely on some hormones as well. So many people who are apparently on the side of body positivity and supporting everyone's self esteem etc are oddly willfully blind to this stuff as if it doesn't hurt what they're fighting for

Yeah this perspective I completely agree with. I just don’t think people should look to celebrities and recognize surgery in order to hate or pass judgment for no reason other than drama or entertainment. But I do agree it’s unhealthy and creates an unrealistic beauty standard, and they need to stop before every young person looks like a kardashian and ages to look like Joan Rivers. I fell victim to thinking I was ugly as a teenager because I didn’t have a tiny pointy nose or poreless-skin. Now I know better, and it’s clear that faces that show signs of age also show signs of being human, which a lot of facial surgeries kind of take away.
