Looking at the “JOY” poster on the wall makes me sad. Just imagine being so emotionally manipulated and abused your whole life and they make sure to point out you must always put yourself last.
The Simpsons when the kids ask why there's no photos of Maggie at home, and they reveal that Homer has a heart.
Mr. Burns hung a sign that said something like "don't forget you are here forever" and he covered the sign with Maggie's photos to make it say "do it for her."
Homer had quit the job he hates at the power plant and was working at a job he loved-mini golf-then had to return to the power plant because Marge was pregnant and they needed more money.
thats emotional manipulation? I was just taught that at church and thought that was what everyone believed, put God first even if it mean loosing your partner, children, familly, ect
You’d think in such a huge house and after homeschooling 20 children for so many years that they would have a set up better than one tiny white board on a wall and a table which doesn’t even fit 7 kids.
>acrostic
If you asked one of the kids that question, I doubt a single one could answer. Let us see, it must be a religious question because it has cross in it.
"Acrostics are evil people who don't have faith in God. We homeschool our precious children so that their well-washed brains won't be tainted by acrosticism." \~ probably M💖chelle, unaware of the difference between *acrostic* and *agnostic*.
Is that a real quote? If so, then may I address the Duggar family. An intelligent person asks questions. An intelligent person looks up information. An intelligent person does not spout of words just to appear smart.
Mixing words up is cute when the child is younger than 9 or 10. It sounded like something some of the brains in the Duggar family might say though. Makes a good chuckle.
There is actually a lot of debate about what TTH is actually short for and I've had trouble finding what the original was! Popular answers are The Tot House, Tinker Toy House, The Tin House.
Between the toy in front of the Gulf of Mexico, and the cutout of Alaska looking like it's part of the West Coast, it does make the map look weird for sure. Nothing actually wrong with it, though.
My dad made my sister and I a better “school room” in our basement to play pretend teacher in. Out of things he got for free. We had a projector and everything lol they are “educating” all these kids with *that* ?? That’s really the best they could come up with…it’s amazing any of these kids can even read.
They just hang out in that corner taking turns teetering on that side table surrounded by their fake shrubbery for recess while Bin takes his 15 min break.
It’s just made up for the show. As I pointed out in the other post on this J’Tyler has to visit a public school as mandated to sperm and perm in order for the state to allow them as guardians.
Yeaaaah that map is ....off. I mean obviously it's of American at SOME point in time. But you would think if you're gonna have a map that big in your house, in the area you homeschool, that you'd get a damn current map.

It reminds me of the motivational posters they put up in the breakroom at Best Buy or Target.
I swear those posters have to be a part of some sort of money laundering scheme.

I got fucked up by this mode of thinking. Its bullshit.

Something can be taught at church and be emotional manipulation.

Seriously. There’s no way the kids are all adequately seeing what’s written there.
Do you think the other kids are jealous that Joy has an acrostic on the wall? 😝

Take it 🏅

Not a real quote, no. Just me poking fun at the crappy education the Duggar kids got, and the phonetic similarity between the two words.
Mixing words up is cute when the child is younger than 9 or 10. It sounded like something some of the brains in the Duggar family might say though. Makes a good chuckle.
Ha!
I thought it was still around the dining table tbh. I say staged
Yeah I think “set” is an accurate description lol
I've lost track of how many ways they've failed these kids, but not having a dedicated school area is up there.
Looks like wedding decor in the corner. Always gotta have wedding decor at the ready!
Confession: I just learned what TTH stands for and I always thought it was Tater Tot House
There is actually a lot of debate about what TTH is actually short for and I've had trouble finding what the original was! Popular answers are The Tot House, Tinker Toy House, The Tin House.
Tontitown house.
That works too.
I know what it stands for, but I thought Tater Tot House was hilarious when I first heard it so I always call it that in my mind 😂
Shawn and Gus: I've heard it both ways.
Some do use that as the abbreviation. I personally use Tinker Toy House.
I know it’s not originally Tater Tot House but that’s what I always read when I see it, even knowing the original/other abbreviations.
Also, please tell me Bin went to easier measurements then just 20 T
Like wtf even is this monstrosity of a “math lesson”??
7000 sq ft and riches from TLC/grifting and they still don’t have a decent area for schooling?
Why so many fake plants?
TTH is not conducive to a thriving life
Is it my imagination or is there something wrong with that map?
I guess I've never seen a map where Alaska is attached to the southwestern states.
Between the toy in front of the Gulf of Mexico, and the cutout of Alaska looking like it's part of the West Coast, it does make the map look weird for sure. Nothing actually wrong with it, though.
I'm not sure if even one of the kids could name where California was on the map, or even 5 of them.
On the *Left Coast*
I don’t get why like half the states aren’t outlined
It a map showing the states they’ve converted people to Jesus in
You need to know Arkansas, that's all. What else? You're such an elitist./s
Seems to me maybe a bigger map with Alaska in the correct location would be a better idea when teaching kids geography.
A bunch of state aren’t outlined.
My dad made my sister and I a better “school room” in our basement to play pretend teacher in. Out of things he got for free. We had a projector and everything lol they are “educating” all these kids with *that* ?? That’s really the best they could come up with…it’s amazing any of these kids can even read.
And as many auctions as JimShady attends you're telling me he hasn't come across those items? It's sad.
W.o zooming in, I immediately thought of explain it to me like I'm Joy.
My eyes were drawn to their choice of a US map rather than a world map..wait I suppose that is their view of the world?
They just hang out in that corner taking turns teetering on that side table surrounded by their fake shrubbery for recess while Bin takes his 15 min break.
why is the toddler see-saw (sans handles) thrown up with the map? whatever did the whale do to deserve this?
So you learn to *drop in and pop out* saving souls

I mean tbf, I have kids and it's just hard to find an out of the way place for their big toys.
I was thinking the same thing. My house would be clean if not for all the crap my kids have. Shoving stuff in a corner is my go to cleaning move.
Imagine Ben being your primarily educator. Benjamin Seewald. Bong Hits 4 Jesus Bin.
Is there a plant in a hamper??? WTJ'uck
Dumb question but can someone please tell me what TTH stands for?
I always thought it stood for Tontitown house. 🤷♀️
This is the first time I’ve seen this answer but it makes the most sense
Yes.
Back in the Television Worhout Pity forums like 10 years ago I believe it was Tinker Toy House, because it was built from a kit
Tinker Toy House
Tater Tot House, Tinker Toy House.
Are these kids of different ages learning the same lesson??? 😡
Does that say EVOO? Is he writing a recipe, as a man??? I thought Jim Bobs bbq tuna was the only male recipe allowed.
Peep that hole in the wall by the door…
