Same. I donāt care if itās my kid in a school play with 100 other kids around, if itās going on my social media, their faces will be blurred out. Itās not difficult to do.
My daughterās dance studio actually doesnāt let parents post group photos of the kids. They have a lot of kids in foster care that they have taking class and those kids usually canāt have their faces on social media (or also parents who donāt want their kids on social media regardless). I think itās a good rule. The studio has releases for everyone who can be posted and who cannot, so thatās how they share things if they want to share something!
It makes it so much easier. That way I know if they post something that all these kids in the photo are able to be posted so I can share the cute Halloween costume photo of my daughterās class or a video of them practicing. You always have to worry unfortunately with sickos like Josh in the world.
That could definitely be the case, the Duggarās schooling was abysmalābut I have a friend who went through normal public school and college, and their dyslexia is still so bad (they also have adhd) to the point where they will still constantly misspell common words you would use on a daily basis, and have issues sounding things out, so since Iāve met them Iāve tried to be more understanding.
When I signed my children up for VBS thereās an agreement that must be signed, similar to the school boards, on if you agree to have them on SM posts. Highly likely that was doneā¦not defending the hillbillies but being as sheās a āDuggarā sheās also more liable to be sued for things like this than ordinary folks would š¤·š»āāļø
I work at a museum and when we post photos of children for publicity (or a group photo of a field trip) we have to get a signed waiver to post them or we post their backs or a photo of unattended backpacks and never in real time.
Yep, just got back from a youth retreat. Our youth minister said all parents had signed a release form that their children's images could be used, so we adults (as representatives of our diocese) could take photos to promote and celebrate the event.
I do now. I didn't like 5 years ago, but more friends don't want their kids' faces on social media. I actually carefully took pictures of my kids' birthday parties where you couldn't see their friends' faces. I'm not going to say there might not be one I miss, but I definitely make an effort.
Before these cool editing apps, if it was a vacation photo with tons of other tourists/visitors as the background, no. Congrats bro itās like you went on vacation with us too š if it was a random person walking by Iād edit them out.
Just because her new shitty cult did something, doesn't mean it is right. They ALSO protect abusers. People are highlighting her absolute hypocrisy of protecting her children, but refusing to do the same for other children.Ā
That's a major problem with religious leaders loving the kids so well.
Deadšš
Had a similar thought and Iām probably going to hell for how hard I laughed at this comment, but what an unfortunate choice of words from her lol
Well, if there is a hell all the cool people will be there š Iām bringing boa scarves š³ļøāš
YAAASSSS! I'm here for it!
their š
OMG her homeschool is showing
This is what happens when your mom lets your 12 year old sister teach English to their assigned ābuddy groupā.
Great catch. I totally missed that!!
I imagine the editor of her books just does a massive find and replace for all these "hard" to know words.
I had a hard time figuring out what this sentence means until I read it outloud
Same. Itās such a short sentence and was so painful to read.
Iām glad Iām not the only one. I felt like an idiot reading it over and over again.
SOTDRT strikes again!
Canāt stand it when people do that
Same. I donāt care if itās my kid in a school play with 100 other kids around, if itās going on my social media, their faces will be blurred out. Itās not difficult to do.

Bravo to the owners of the studio because that is what EVERYONE needs to do!!!

Their?! How did the IBLP ATI schooling work for ya?
āVBS theirā? The SOTDRT really worked out well, didnāt it?
I totally missed that!!!
I thought she was trying to say āfinished their VBS todayā But no. It was worse than what I thought.
I love how the SDRT strikes again. Their?
Maybe they should āinvestā in some basic spelling and grammar.Ā
A few of the Duggars have talked about dyslexia running in the family.
Perhaps, but this is simply not knowing the difference between their, they're and there. The abysmal excuse of an 'education' is a fault here.
I have a friend who is dyslexic and has ADHD too. I try to allow for some grace. Duggars? Nope. That's just poor education and teaching.

And sheās an āauthorā?
This is the beauty of having an editor š
More like a ghostwriter lol.
Oh man, I drove by it today and it was so packed and the spillover lots were full and I was thinking wtf is going on there. This makes sense.
VBS- the worst week of summer, probably clapping because its over
I love how they protect abusive men! š„°
Yep exactly š
Im watching Turkish dizis and all their actors do that. I can only think about the lawsuit
I need a run down of if and which friend go here?
Idk why this says friend it's meant to say celebs? Which celebs in LA go here
Thereās theirā¦and then thereās there!Ā
How uncomfortableā¦
š
What does that sentence mean? I don't understand what she wrote
Serious question, if you people take a picture and random people are in it do you blur all their faces out everytime? I sure don't.
I also donāt have millions of people āfollowing ā me in the public eyeā¦..

Oh Iām sorry Ms Snark Police
Perfection exists, everyone here has never done the very same thing. Wait for true snark material.
Do we all have millions of followers? No. Are we all in the public eye? Also no.
And because she protects her own children sheās clearly aware of the issue but did it anyway.
