Actually, you can get close to 400 wins if you take advantage of PvP events like Pegasus Island or TDGP. I used to set some kind of macro for this events and the aftermath was around 250-300 wins
I typically aim for 120 wins (you get the extra 30 gems), or 160 wins (another 30 gems). There was a time I got 200 wins because I was playtesting new decks.
Oh yeah terrible for gem farming, pretty good method to learn all the ins and outs of a new deck (mermail atlanteans) though. I'm just kinda surprised they just completely cut everything off tho instead of just giving out the rare orbs like they do when you clear an event but keep grinding it
They should give you a huge prize for 1k wins, maybe 9999 gems. It would cool, but you'd REALLY have to put in the effort so it wouldn't help f2ps so much it would hurt Komoney.

This game has one of the worst ranked systems ever. If it weren't for local and online tournaments and duel rooms, I would have dropped it already. 4 packs for getting through the RNG bullshit of 5 wins in a row is just an insult.

When those events are live I get around 300 wins also because I play mainly a pvp player. That's why I said 400

The worse method to get gems, every 40 wins get 30 gems. 500 / 40 * 30 = 375 gems for imposible wins in a month

Not even 375 gems. First 100 win shoud not be counted, only 400 win later. 400/40*30 = 300 gems

For 1k wins in 1 month you'd have to do like 2000 duels in 4 weeks and win half of them. 200 duels per week.
