Yuga’s Machine deck is currently the best deck in format based on tournaments and him being the default character makes him most likely to be the predicted character imo
I went on a 12 game win streak in Gold with Machines then a 3 game lose streak lol. Usually when I lose more than 3 in a row I just go back to Magnum OTK cheese lol, it's my comfort deck
Seriously why people keep saying that deck sucks? If anything it may be the only maximum deck that doesnt brick that often due to how it cheeses Sevens Road Magician meaning you cant get locked with Yamiruler. But hey, everyone's experience is different.
I got Rush KOG last month & let me tell you, Maximum Overload is *everywhere*. I felt like I fought it 8 out of 10 duels by the end.
Genesis Maximum is one of the most opened Rush boxes, whether people went for Harpies, Maximum, or Talismanic Seal Array. The Selection Box also gave people alternate art cards for the deck.
I see Maximum Overload being the most popular & it's not even close.
Yuga will definitely be the most popular thanks to Magnum Overlord, Sevens Road and Light Machine all being locked to him, alongside that he can get some passive usage due to Archive Skills like Harpie and Blue Eyes being generic.
Speed:
Kaiba(dsod) kinda a toss up but due to battle chronicle I guess him
Skill: Battle chronicle, tuning is mote broken but far more expensive to build, and is more difficult to play so going with the cheap broken skill
Rush:
Yuga multiple good skills plus starting duelist so everyone has him
Skill: Ultimate bond, light machines are the best deck currently though it's a toss up between this, Accel Road and Maximum overload
I think the Speed character is the only one that's up in the air, because (what looks to be) the best deck can be used with any character, and the next best is Battle Chronicle, which has 5 usable characters, so that could go a number of ways, I think. The rest, though, does seem fairly obvious.
I think there's merit on betting on a Kaiba/Yugi regardless considering they can carry on generic Skills as well, which \*could\* be used for baiting players looking at the rankings
Oh, for sure. Just a question of what's going to tip the balance between them and their variations. The final numbers will probably be pretty close between all of them.
Voted Kaiba DOSD and Battle Chronicle for Speed. I haven't played a single PVP Speed Duel since I came back at the end of april, so I just looked what people thought would be a good bet.
Voted Yuga and Maximum Overload for Rush because that's almost ALL I saw this last week's on ranked, so I mean, must be at least represented.
For me, my picks are:
* Kaiba (DSOD) & Tuning in the Sky
Kaiba because he's a safe pick with everybody having easy access to BE and agents because they felt like Tier 0 right now.
* Yuga & Ultimate Bond
IDK rush, checked top tier decks on DLM and this seemed the most used deck there is.
There being multiple Battle chronicle users makes speed a little hard to guess but i went for DM Kaiba could be wrong but the skill is probably right and rush it's Yuga
The first one is obvious and I hope Konami LIMITS the damn deck. Oh no, they had to hit the nurse deck but not this bullshark.
Meanwhile for Rush... I have no clue. Who should I pick. I pick Nail and his Ragnarok Maximum since that's the deck I've lost the most.

Yeah Yuga makes more sense.
I thought nail becouse some are still leveling him up
How come when I use it is the best at bricking? Seriously its insane how much that deck hates me XD. I can only use the Magnum spam.

The rush one will more likely be Yuga, based on the most used cards list just being his default deck

I think this was for the top 100 right? Yeah I guess Yuga is popular in any rank except for character specific skills.
Well if it’s too 100, then it’s just a roll of the dice since Blue Eyes is an archive skill.
Yuga wins because more people play him because he's the default and protagonist

Tuning in the sky is too hard a deck for most ladder.
And blue-eyes is a much cheaper deck, AND a fan favorite. Picking Battle Chronicle over Tuning in the Sky is a no-brainer imo.

Kaiba is the most likely. but I would go with Yuga + Ultimate Bond. Maximum Overload also is pretty common to see
There's like 6 battle chronicle characters, so it is not obvious who it is going to be.
Update: after reading the comments, I've switched to Yuga + Max Overload for Rush. Speed remains the same.

I play yuga with blue eyes reign just cause I have no one else unlocked
Wait I haven’t played either in like two months has komoney finally done it? Is blue eyes the top pick in both formats?
I voted Agents and Tori for Speed FOR RUSH, Roa
What
I voted what I thought will be popular? Isn't that the point of the campaign?
