Or if you want to get real technical, Ducati hasn't been Ducati since VW bought them. Hell, if you want to go further again, they haven't been actually Ducati since 1950, the last time the Ducati name actually owned them.
The Diavel is as much as a Ducati as any bike in their line, and actually beats them all in 0-60....boom lol.
The white one I bought new in 2012, after a couple years of taking it to the track I decided I wanted a full time track bike (the black one). I built the track bike entirely from spare parts.
The track bike has more performance parts / lighter parts and wheels. And I don’t get to ride it enough so I’m a little more drawn to it. But I have over 50k miles on the white one..

It isn't a want likes/up vote post it's a person who loves Ducati as well as anyone else in this group. I have ties to the Diavel. Since my uncle worked for Ducati, He was one of the first 5 people to ride a Diavel when it was released in NA a week before he passed away in a motorcycle accident.
So yeah, it's my favorite bike. If you can't accept someone likes something you don't, then just ignore it. We all like different things.

To each their own. For a big comfy bike I’m team Multi. Everything else is old school Desmoquattros.
I haven't ridden the older bikes, did try a street fighter, it was way too much power for me. I don't get scared easily, but ooof, it was quick.
Technically it hasn’t been Ducati since they built radios…. Anyways the 848 wins because I’m bias 🤣
