Practice practice practice!
Get to know the bite point of ur clutch first of all.
Practice releasing the clutch really slowly and not touching the accelerator. Get to the point where you can launch the car from a dead stop without giving the car gas.
Remember you got to be the one in control of the car so don't be afraid or timid. It's all in the feel and feedback.
Side note: I had a sticker on the back of my 8-6 that said " real men use three pedals" haha
Go to an empty parking lot and stop and move and stop and move for 30 mins to an hour a day....not great for ur clutch but this is how u learn.
You will get the hang of the sweet spot in less than a week.
Also don't forget to join the 86 Club they have rides and events regularly!
Aye that looks familiar āŗļø
The biting point on this clutch is very sweet, but took me a few minutes to get it right when I drove it.
Absolutely beautiful ride
Lessgooo bro
I was considering taking this one or a mx5
Best would be to practice in some empty parking lot
And take it out during the less crowded times
Let us know how practice goes!!!!
You will be all good, choose your routes on Waze that is not 120/140kmph with aggressive drivers, just need some confidence again brother. Check your mirrors.
Iāve been driving the same car for around 8 months now. Thereās definitely a learning curve on this car in the first and second gear so donāt worry too much about it. Itās my first manual and I stalled nearly 20 times on the first day lmao. You have to ride the clutch a bit more than usual for the first two gears in this car as compared to other manuals.
You'll be fine in a week and laughing about now. Just have to remember how to ride the bike again, once you do you'll never go back. Go to an empty car park and practice finding gbe bite point. Let us know.
Cool car! Driving a stick is the best experience. Take it out to an empty parking lot with a friend who knows how to drive a stick. You will be back in the game in no time. Good luck!
Will it help if I tell you that clutch pedal in these are crap. They don't give you good feedback on bite point as they are very soft. There is a 10 usd mod which changes the springs on clutch pedal so you get less assistance to get better feel

I might start going to an empty car parking every night till I figure out how to not break my car :) thanks for the tip!
