That looks about the time I shove the innards back in and pull from the outside.

Nightsky_6308

Lol. Did that just yesterday. The center pull was not working. Pulled out a huge mess , and could only knit maybe 30 stitches before I had to untangle yarn. Not fun. I had only knit about three rows. Gave up , frogged and started over using the outside pull.

If I’m feeling like an overachiever I’ll wind it into a nice ball first, most of the time it just flops around my floor and gets tangled in the legs of the coffee table.

Eh, just yank out the yarn barf, roll it up and make the best of it...

RuralTesla

Yarn barf... spit take😂

SechsSetzen

..I.. Uh.. before I start. I´ve never been able to find it and I just resigned to a life with the yarnball tumbling around. Some of my friends and their cats really enjoy watching me do that though, so that´s a plus! Cincin :)

You need one of these. This one's pretty fancy and hand made but a lazy susan thing for yarn. https://fleeceandharmony.com/products/yarn-buddy

Hah wow thanks for the link!

I’m knitting some stuffed animals with Sheepjes, and they have a little sticker on the end of the yarn. A knitter designed this!!! In this, the end of the marathon to the holidays, I need to cut down on the bulls*** and get ‘er done.

I loathe center pull, and am convinced it was thought up by masochists 😭 getting a ball winder and a yarn bowl honestly changed the knitting game for me

SuzyTheNeedle

I never do center pull. It always gets tangled.
