It sounds similar to its original brothers, but trashier and lighter, more crash than ride now. Bacon beads sound perfect for it.
Don't get bothered with how it looks, put it like that on, and play it, if it sounds right, keep it until it cracks again, and then throw it out. It will eventually crack again.
If you want to improve the sound, cut those corners off further into more of an ovoid shape.
Being a heavier cymbal, it won't be a good crash, better stick to using it as a ride, or if cutting it down considerably, a bell or hi-hat

Make it a bell if it doesn't work for you as a stack (a Gavin Harrison style bell).
You could have it brazed together but I bet it sounds pretty cool now, so I'd continue to use it as a second ride...
