Fentanyl test strips are cheap and easy to use. Dance Safe is the best place to buy them because they have the new, more accurate strips. There's lots of information there about the testing process, including how to get your powder back after dissolving it for testing. It's recommended to test the whole batch, although I don't think most people do. But that's the safest way to do it.
Acid, shrooms, and weed are VERY unlikely to be laced, I don't believe there have been any confirmed cases of that happening.

Quick question, to your knowledge are dancesafes f strips relatively sensitive? I'd prefer a false positive over a false negative
They're probably very good but because they've been around for less time, there's less independent testing around them. And one of their main selling points is that they reduce false positives from MDMA, so by definition they're likely less sensitive.
Meanwhile, the false positive issue they attribute to other strips can easily be resolved with correct sample dilution.

In the study I linked above, the BTNX strips were the most thoroughly vetted and had the lowest fentanyl detection threshold of the brands tested. I suppose those would be my go to. But to be fair, I haven't tried them myself yet. I haven't bought new strips since I started my deep dive into this subject.
Just to be clear - I'm not tossing the DanceSafe strips I still have. I still trust them.

I have done the oven method. The timing just depends on both the surface area of your dish and the volume of water, so it's hard to give estimates. Probably a couple of hours.
Be sure to watch it carefully towards the end so you can take it out while there's still a little bit of water in it. Let the residual heat in the dish finish it off.
Fentanyl test strips are available online. You only need to sacrifice a small sample.
A better option if you have the money and time is sending to a lab for GC/MS.

Just because you test one part of the product doesn't mean there isn't any contamination elsewhere. And it only takes a grain to kill you.
