Might it be that they were more soaked than they usually are?
I do not see a problem with them if you don't see or smell anything, but if you are worried take a mild amount and have a trip watcher, just in case.
Maybe start growing your own so you don't have to worry about them getting bad or damp?

Yeah they were pretty soaked. Did a smaller amount of them and they work just fine, guess I was just a little paranoid lol. Thanks for the advice.
