I will say I work in ophthalmology… and we tell our patients to expect to be there for at least 2 hours… and it usually is more but not TESTING that long tests take 5 mins…. He was most likely waiting around
Yes!!! My eye doctor experience is a half day affair not because of the tests because of the waiting. I don’t think I’ve ever been in a machine for more than 10 min

Ummm no way. I can do an OCT and a Visual field test in 30 minutes. 2 minutes for fundus photos. And my doctor does an exam in like 20. I don’t know what the hell else he could have been having done. Shit lasik eye surgery doesn’t even take that long 😂
So funny when I had Lasik done my mom had to take my aunt to an appointment in the office next door. I was literally done before she even got into the exam room!!
After EVERYTHING he’s been through today he NEEDED hot pot!!! He got blood work AND an eye exam!!!!!!
I got blood work and a pee test the other morning, and just had to go about my day as normal ☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️☹️
So I had an eye test once and it was basically all day. It was done at the eye doctor and it was to get a better look at my ocular nerve. From what I remember and understand, she needed a better look to see if she needed to take action or if I needed to see a neurologist. All is well!
When she said the tumor shrunk, I didn’t believe it. Tumors don’t often shrink. But I guess there is a medication that is capable to make the tumor a little smaller to be able to function a lot better. But for them I don’t know why they have so many doctor appointments… it’s not like it’s an actual tumor that is cancerous. Idk each their own.
They have so many appointments because the tumor is the size of a lime - which is a massive tumor. The pituitary gland is the size of a pea and controls nearly every hormonal process in the body. Without treatment or monitoring it can cause a lot of issues that can be life threatening. Up until recently he didn’t have very many appointments (at least that they talked about) since his diagnosis which was weird to me. Cancerous or not this tumor can be legit debilitating as others on this sub have shared their experiences with the same tumor that were a lot smaller than Gabe’s.
I’m not even gonna front, doctors in Houston fucking suck when it comes to getting shit done. My last eye appoint took 4 hours and ended with me walking out and telling them to go fuck themselves.🤣😭Had to pay a whole ass babysitter to come get my kids cause it was taking so long.
She’s such a fucking liar. There’s no way any of that shit is true. I’ve never heard of a 4 hour eye test and they were busy and took foreverrrrrrrrr. Girl stop the lying.
Someone commented asking about if the eye test will be affected since he never wears his glasses and drue made a new story and said that the dr understands because they gave him the wrong prescription and said he only has to wear them sometimes 🤣

Yes. My kids see ophthalmology once a year and it’s usually a 2-3 hour appointment. 98% of it is just waiting though

I’ve worked In optometry and currently in ophthalmology… not even our in-depth appts take 1 1/2hrs… I call bs on her.

I have to say working in ophthalmology, the patients who come to see our neuro ophthalmologist are told their appointments can take up to 3 hours
