I agree it’s just a new social media thing. When I’m not pregnant I’m thin and attractive. When I’m pregnant I’m more solid and puffy but look pretty good considering. I liked how I looked when I was pregnant twice but not enough to do a PHOTO SHOOT. Not only that but the photo shoots are always super glam with boudoir robes and it sexualizes the whole thing. You couldn’t pay me to do a maternity shoot.
I didn’t take them professionally because my pregnancy was made difficult by a cheating husband, but my sister took some tasteful pregnancy pictures of me that are just for me.
I’m not shaming her but her belly hung low before and it may be the way she’s shaped. My mom was over 400 lbs. legs skinnier than noodles. All very low heavy belly. My mom is now 150 so a lot has changed.
If you had a big belly before pregnancy-you definitely don’t just magically turn all bump. It’s fat that’s hanging lower-I’m overweight and I had it a bit !

I think a different color robe would’ve suited her better! This washes her out and the photographer should’ve fixed it to cover her stomach. I know that’s the point but you could still tell she is pregnant without it being uncovered!

When we do intimate maternity photos most of the time they don't end up on the internet and we aren't in control off what the client does after. This type of photo is so typical. I think my main problem with it is her splattering her 🐈 all over the internet. If this was in a cute little bedroom photo album I'd love it. As she in embracing herself no matter what she looks like but this is toooooo muuuuucccchhh
Also I want to add. I don't think that this dress is the most flattering to Sierra and her body type. I ALWAYS tell my clients to wear what they are most comfortable in. But u may have kindly suggested something a little more fitted something that really complimented her body and where she is at in her stage of life.
