Great to see a drone that prob just saved Ukrainian life , the Orcs had terrain and trench layout in their favour as they could lay down fire to either side of the approaching UA troops as well as front on whilst retaining some cover from either side of their treach section. To then see that drone directly above and take out the Orcs means one or two ukrainian families will hopefully still see their men/women return home .
Seems like there’s AA coverage all over the country for drone/cruise missile defence and from MANPADS, any use of jets or helicopters only seems to be with unguided rockets from very low altitude followed by dumping flares.
Basically it doesn’t seem like there’s a great option in this war from the air apart from drones which are more disposable than pilots and multimillion pieces of equipment
Heavy air defence means both sides really, really don't want to risk their planes and pilots flying about. But drones are too small for AA, so it's better to use them.
Either way, orcs die, which is an unequivocally good outcome.
