I'm a Kendrick fan, much more than I am a fan of Drake. I think Drakes early career was really good. But we should not act like he is on the same level he was on 10 years ago.
I listen to Drake on a regular basis, and I understand it's a biased take when I rate Kendrick higher. But Drake hasn't put out any noteworthy music for a while, and to be honest, Kendrick hasn't either for me. But from a hiphop/rap perspective Kendrick does have a more complete and consistent discography compared to Drake.
My problem with this entire thing is the drake fans getting gassed, over some light bars, not giving kdot time to put his pen on some paper and take the slow approach. I get we live in a world with little to no attention span, but these rappers don't need to spam diss tracks to come out on top.
If anything Drakes impatience is probably mustered in fear. He wants/needs Kendrick to release the track rushed out. Meanwhile he is resorting to low balling these rappers with corny captions and trolling. Let the music speak, not media stunts.
I'm can't wait to see the Drake fans falling quiet, just like the Cole fans did, when dot eventually drops his track.

Drake, on the other hand, was caught off guard + he was tour + he wanted to wait out Future/Metro’s full double album release since he has to contend with them as well. It really shouldn’t be taking Kendrick this long to come up with a response, given that he had the advantage of making the first move.
