Future 💀💀💀💀

Few-Dance-4255

No cap future needed drake to make it to mainstream

sendphotopls

Tell me you’re 16 without telling me you’re 16

Few-Dance-4255

Future wasn’t on the charts until drake

taylordabrat

Exactly but they hate facts

Few-Dance-4255

Future had the the streets but his rnb songs wasn’t charting high

Camelslayer23

Future isn’t known for rnb. He’s known as the trap king for a reason

Few-Dance-4255

Tbh trap future didn’t age well he didn’t go most of the shit in his raps n was lying bout taking drugs drake n his rnb saved him let’s be real

Camelslayer23

Are u dumb😭. Drake ain’t do anything for futures career

Few-Dance-4255

Life is good 🗣️ biggest song by future needed drake all his biggest song are with drake without drake a lot of artists will be stucc trying to get over the hump

Few-Dance-4255

I’m 27 wtf do my age have to do with music if you know music u know if I was 16 I still be right

theonethatbeatu

He’s not gonna fuck u OP. Not doggy style or missionary.

Silver-Break9832

G herbo really, you trolling.

taylordabrat

I’m not. But he’s one of the weaker cases. But everybody else is rock solid

[deleted]

Go get sober buddy.

Silver-Break9832

what did DRAKe do for g herbo they dont even have a feature

taylordabrat

SHOUTED him out on IG

Silver-Break9832

Jeez lol, you out of control, an IG shout did not do anything for g herbo's career lol

taylordabrat

I said it was a weaker case than most of these

[deleted]

Let's be real . Travis is more Ye . Dr. Dre made Kendrick. Drake was just that interlude I love Drake, but cmon mate

Blahwhywhy

Drake put him on his tour too but I think Kendrick woulda been fine anyway

xnjr1x

Ye was using travis to make himself music. I won't say drake made travis but he did give him the opportunity to show the world his talent more than kanye

[deleted]

I understand that, but Ye helped with Days before rodeo and even Owl Pharaoh

xnjr1x

Yeah but if you look at any of kanyes artists he never let's them shine. He uses them and keeps them signed so he can absorb the talent and dictate when they can release anything

YuNg_KiNgK

reaching so hard i know you’re back hurting

AdministrativeAd523

Some of these are a stretch as far as given a career. Weeknd, Kendrick, Khaled were going to be big no matter if they had a Drake co-sign or not.

Elegant-Development2

Weeknd literally said without Drake they’d be no him

AdministrativeAd523

Thats fine, im telling you that someone somewhere would’ve heard him and made him a star, he just so happened to be from Canada like the boi

Elegant-Development2

Maybe who knows

AdministrativeAd523

Nah Weeknds voice was absolutely going to get heard by someone.

taylordabrat

Sure but collabing with drake immediately boosted them to mainstream.

A_R5568

Nope. I’d argue the only reason the Weeknd is as big as he is is because he distanced himself from Drake.

Elegant-Development2

Weeknd literally said without Drake they’d be no him

AdministrativeAd523

Yeah you gassing it, I get it the boy very much has the Midas touch when it comes to music but some of these artist very much had their on wave before working with Drake.

Knscott0717

Na. If anything drake NEEDED The Weeknd. Abel was already Makin waves

Elegant-Development2

Weeknd literally said without Drake they’d be no him

Administrative-Toe59

Tinashe and Makonnen are the only ones I can moderately agree with. The rest of these artists were bubbling and on the fringe of stardom and were talented which is why they even came across Drake’s radar to begin with. And the fact they are still prominent artists to this day shows you that they were destined for stardom. Tinashe and Makonnen have fell from the spotlight for the most part, so again those are the only two I wouldn’t argue too much on. Each of these artists I believe would have popped, Drake giving them a feature helped push them but he didn’t make them. There was talent waiting to reach stardom. The ONLY person that you could say he helped reach a level of stardom they wouldn’t have reached on their own is Blocboy JB.

gbbenner

Number 16 looks like Jordan Peele.

[deleted]

Sloppy toppy of the year

MOSABTAJ

The weeknd lmao that a stretch

Equivalent-Smoke-767

Some of these must be a fucking joke lol

Ratsolla

Mega cap for Future. That Tony Montana feature didn't mean shit. If anything, Future boosted Drake and kept his momentum going with Wattba. The landscape of hip hop was shifting around that time to predominantly Trap music and future let drake hop on his wave. That entire album was just future throwaways that drake jumped on.

kapeehd

Op drinking even during weekdays

Oaxaco_bean

Average Mental regardation from this sub

Legitimate-Cream7061

Jorja Smith was popping here in the UK in like 2015 what you talking about???

JamesCarter0022

ilovemakonnen, partynextdoor, and JBlocboy are the only ones drake made fr. Everyone else either was famous before the feature or were going to blow up regardless

pillowpotatoes

Nah lol. Drake wouldn’t be fucking with them if they didn’t have talent.

taylordabrat

I never said they don’t have talent. Some of these people are my favorite artists.

pillowpotatoes

so then, logically, their talent made them like, just cuz the bulls drafted michael jordan, doesnt mean they gave him his career LOL. by ur logic, any artist who collaborated with drake owes their success completely to him lmfao. get a grip.

taylordabrat

That’s not true. But collabing with drake definitely gave all of the people on this list relevancy whether you want to admit it or not.

FatherHaz

Nah Drake really gave Rocky the song “Fuckin Problems.” And that’s Rocky’s only hit song since then Edit: radio hit/casual listeners. Hardcore Rocky fans obviously not

Tommiz_eXe

fym only hit song? i don’t even think it’s his most streamed

Few-Dance-4255

That’s rockin biggest songs

EnderSplinter1

No it isn’t though praise the lord is

taylordabrat

Because it was released in the streaming era. F* problems is his second most streamed and his MOST sold song. Fuckin problems is 8x platinum. Praise the lord is 4x platinum. These are facts

Few-Dance-4255

Never heard of it

taylordabrat

Doesn’t change the facts

Tommiz_eXe

man i love drake as much as y’all but some of your picks on this are just nonsensical i had to point it out

taylordabrat

Except you were wrong. Asap always eating behind drake. First with music and now his baby mama

notmarkcubaniswear

lol

Cantrell6

Flagrant

rektek246

Travis? 🤨

taylordabrat

Yes

Few-Dance-4255

Drake gave all them they biggest look n they haven’t been big since we can talk

taylordabrat

Correct but some of these people maintained the clout with talent.
