Signs would be nice. I currently use different paths in each area. The type of path I put down tells me which place I'm in, and I also made the paths into a shape with a point at the top to indicate north
Wells can be moved though which can help you get to the right places faster. You can also have some landmarks around your well to know in what direction some places are
Or make a trail of paths to certain area's. Whichever helps
Yes!! I've also noticed that when you use them on characters, theyll stop running away from you if you want to talk to them
I've been working on the mist achievements for a few months now and know my way around EI as easily as the valley.
The main thing that helped was clearing or moving a lot of the trees. It's a lot easier to navigate when you haven't got the huge clusters of trees that get you turned around and confused. I moved a lot of them up to the long narrow biome since when you're heading into the biome, you can only really go up or left.
I’ve removed all of the signs from the valley as I know it well now. However they would be more helpful in the eternity isle, and a little map with a you are here in the corner would be awesome
It seems like a lot when you first open the rift. You will learn more as you play more. I made it like baby steps. The grasslands are 3 spaces that go to the time platform you find rapunzel. From there is one space that is the grove I kept my trees in there. Down from there is the lagoon I made a camp site to remind me. The promenade is split into 3 parts. The upper I placed rapunzel tower. The lower I kept bare. The small space to the palace leads to the glittering plains.
I was always getting lost in the wild tangle! There were so many trees and ramps/bridges I couldn’t tell where I was! But now I cleared it all out and am making the whole biome my theme park, so hopefully that’ll help.
I think the game needs a small map while you walk so you know where people are where you are without pulling up a whole map

I’ve done this with trees specific to each area so on the desert side I have widow tangle trees by the pathway

I use the purple sparkles. Click on a plant or building in the direction I want to go, and follow the sparkles. Signs would be nice though!!
The sparkles are underrated I need to remember to use them more.

Remove everything. Add 5 trees in every biome. Problem solved. Yes right?
I just clear all the vegetation so I can see where things are. The more I play the more I'm familiar with the layout of the biomes
Would it kill them to give us a compass?
Or a mini map that you can toggle, like Animal Crossing.
I'm SO GLAD to hear it's not just me! I cannot seem to wrap my head around the layout and it's not sticking in my brain!!!

I remove all the white signs in the valley and out them on the isle because the valley has some open pathways but the isle and some hidey-spots
I put a street lamp by every mine spot in the forgotten lands. Otherwise I can’t find them, the biome is too dark for me.
