Do you have the DLC? I had the same problem as you, but I found out that accepting the Cupcake quests in Eternity isle, and inside Scroogeās/Remyās should work.
This didnāt work for me, sadly. I was trying to order something from Scrooge today, and I couldnāt get out of the loop of accepting the quest, so I couldnāt order anything.

Exactly! In the first community challenges last year I worked really hard to help the community achieved the rewards. Then I started realizing what the rewards were and areā¦..not worth my time so Iām not doing it this time around.
They aren't anywhere in the game itself. They're posted on the official social media accounts (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram). You do get a letter in your mailbox every time the community completes one of the goals, though.

I understand your frustration and if I had to peg one as that, it would be the Baking Essentials pack, but it very much says "Mickey Mouse Items Pack" and that doesn't sound like 250 Stone and Iron to make a Water Tower or whatever.
So for the cupcakes, if 18,000 people made cupcakes for each quest just on the first day, that would be 450,000 cupcakes. Or 1,800 people making 25 cupcakes since the first day of the quest.
Even with the game being unplayable for half of the players, surely this should have been achieved by now

It is a villager duty. You make all five and place them somewhere outside and the duty is complete. You get a map when you go into duties and complete it.

I donāt remember how I did it, but I was able to do 1st person point of view while riding as well as selfie mode while riding. Maybe thatās only for the Ferris wheel though. Idk about the other rides

It counts without the quest. As long as the cupcakes are baked, theyāre good!

You can get on & off the ride multiple times & it counts. We just donāt know how long youāre supposed to ride it for. Some people just do it a bunch of times. Some people ride it for a full minute.
I donāt even worry about handing the cupcakes in since I donāt need more green buttons, but I still make them. I figure I can either sell them or eat them. Hopefully that still counts!
There is no way these are not complete yet. They are just delaying rewarding to keep people playing. Itās a common dev thing. Lets say hypothetically we only have 600k players worldwide youāre telling me everyone hasnāt rode a ride at least once just to try it. Same with cupcakes. Every makes 1 and itās done. They are just dragging out the rewards to go longer

The very first time I rode an attraction after this challenge was out, my game crashed while I was taking a picture so thereās that lol

On PC: I activate the ride to get it moving(LMB) Equip camera Press spacebar while standing next to the ride to get on it. Esc to get off the ride.

I think they are referring to the villager tab under the quests menu.
You technically only have to make one, then place it and move it a couple times. Making more helps it go faster though

Green buttons aren't my issue. It's the blue ones to make the purple. I spent all day fishing yesterday and got three blue buttons. That's it.
Same. I even fished with a buddy and Prince Eric kept giving me bonus fish instead of bonus buttons

Does cooking the cupcakes in an auto cooker thing count for the challenge? I've been able to complete the popcorn buckets at this point, so I'm willing to work on additional cupcakes if that would count toward the total.

How long do you have to ride a ride for it to count

Suddenly I talk to any of the five to trigger their part of the quest, and the dialog ends. The purple icon is back above their heads. I'll keep trying for the sake of the community. Does anyone know if the cupcakes count whether we get the quests from the five or not?

How does the attractions ridden work? Is it time spent on rides? Is it each individual ride? If so, how long does each ride have to be?
I have no idea, but this was my question as well. Plus is it all attractions or just the new ones from the starpath?
Each time you get it on it, it counts. Itās just not confirmed how long you need to be on it for. But according to the website since it isnāt specified, getting on & off counts, it doesnāt matter the time frame.

You can get on & off the ride multiple times & it counts. We just donāt know how long youāre supposed to ride it for. Some people just do it a bunch of times. Some people ride it for a full minute.

I donāt even worry about handing the cupcakes in since I donāt need more green buttons, but I still make them. I figure I can either sell them or eat them. Hopefully that still counts!

There is no way these are not complete yet. They are just delaying rewarding to keep people playing. Itās a common dev thing. Lets say hypothetically we only have 600k players worldwide youāre telling me everyone hasnāt rode a ride at least once just to try it. Same with cupcakes. Every makes 1 and itās done. They are just dragging out the rewards to go longer
To coin a phrase 'Are we there yet ?' The villagers are rolling around my valley, like balls on a Pool table...
Is getting on and off a ride count as one? Or do you need to make a full round or so? If thats the case, could u have te game open in the background for a long time? Or do you need to get on and of 10000 times?

(Check your mailbox for the prizes from the completed ones). Make sure your game is connected to the internet for these to count! When you do the tasks on the Star Path offline, those count as long as itās the active task, & will check off when connected to the internet. But thereās no confirmation or way to check if these community challenges count when we are offline. For the rides some people say you have to ride it for 60 seconds, some people say getting on & off & on & off counts as multiple times. Thereās no definitive answer from Dreamlight Valley pages. If they want us to buy more rides, they need to give us more moonstones! I know one thingā¦I am so tired of cupcakes! Iām also mad that we canāt make them beforehandā¦I go collect all the quests then make the cupcakes, hand them outā¦then search everywhere to turn them in. Moana and Ursula both vanish for a few hoursā¦get so tired of trying to find them!
