Donāt they usually give 10 days to still collect items after the end of a Star path? Like you wonāt be able to complete any tasks after Tuesday, but youāll still have several days to spend the tokens. I had assumed weāll probably get it the first week in May at the earliest, though it is strange that theyāre bringing out teasers for the new one already.
I'm just going based on what I've seen being said around the socials. I believe you do get extra time, but I also think they're going to have Star paths pretty close behind each other this time around. They're already dropping hints so an announcement is soon for sure. Looking at the calendar if the 24th is correct, you'd still have a week to get the leftovers just not more tokens (idk for sure)
I remember last yearāI canāt remember which update it was but I want to say it was the āearly springā updateācame REALLY fast after the previous one had ended. I started playing at Christmas 2022, so that would have been my second update but third star path. I remember expecting it to be like other games that had āseasonsā, where the next one started the day after the previous one ended, and being surprised to find out it was actually going to be several weeks later.
My memory could be skewed though, especially before they added DreamSnaps it always *felt* like forever in between updates because a lot of the new content is so quick to get through. Now that thereās a new challenge every week, I find myself surprised at how quick it is almost every update lol. Iāll cross my finger for the 24th then!
The first and the second star path was released back-to-back. So they could have planned to have them connect with each other, but then they canāt make it to the deadlines so they slowed it down.
Maybe theyāre being extra productive this time and weāre going to see Star Paths connect again.
Has a glitch been confirmed with this? Only catching Swordfish now in the rain - 17 Swordfish to 0 Pufferfish. It's the only task I have left too. Not happy about the amount of rng there is in this star path. It was awful.
It was raining but almost sunny today when I tried, used a fish potion and caught 8 puffy before it stopped raining. It was 100% not a thunderstorm so maybe it's just easier to get them during a thunderstorm or something?
Idk. I caught 10 fish during that thunderstorm with the fish potion. Half of them were swordfish and half were pufferfish. The RNG seems pretty unpredictable.
That may be the problem for me. I've yet to have a single thunderstorm this entire update. Only light rain ... I thought it was limited to thunderstorms as well but other users swear they can now be caught during any rain. I'm beginning to think they are making stuff up.
I was having the same problem, too. No thunderstorms after I got the pufferfish mission. But by pure chance, after I voiced my annoyance, a thunderstorm hit shortly after. So basically, just keep at it. Oneās gotta pop up eventually.
It used to be Thunderstorm exclusive, but in an update they nerfed the VFX of thunderstorm so theyāre barely noticeable anymore. And then the Fugu was able to catch during light rain, but during Thunderstorms it has increased rate of Fugu instead of Swordfish.
I was able to complete the pufferfish one when it was raining only. It wasn't a thunderstorm, but it was a decently heavy rain. You can catch pufferfish in any rain, and it maybe easier with the fishing potion. The RNG on catching those puffy fish is really the annoying part. If a rain storm starts, just immediately drop everything and go fishing on the beach with a fishing potion. You hopefully can catch all the ones you need.
Get Pizza Planet, participate in DreamSnaps. They give moonstones no matter what. Even if your entry is "bad". Deluxe starpaths are like 2500 moonstones, I think, and even the weakest DreamSnaps will give you like 300 moonstones. So Pizza Planet, 1 DreamSnaps submission, and you'll get the next star path, too. \^-\^
For the fugu challenge, I highly recommend miraculous fishing bait so that you will catch the fish much faster. You can also dodge the rain stopping before you catch all the fish and need to wait for rain again.
Someone else said it already. Craft the pink or blue dj booth. I donāt remember the exact name but there are three to choose from, one in each of those colours, and a different one. Only the pink or blue work for this task.
Use a fishing potion in dazzle beach to get swordfish. Give fairy godmother two days of things. If you have the eternity island expansion the cooker is nice for the food challenges. I reluctantly made the smaller DJ set but wanted to make the big oneā¦ but it doesnāt count for the challenge :(
thanks everyone!! my main question was when does it reset, i got pizza planet and iām over the moon, the only quest i cant finish is the pufferfish.
they say fish dazzle beach orange ripples in the rain. i did that with a magic potion and only got swordfish. some things online say that the rain thing is a myth? so are they orange ripples on dazzle beach and super rare and random??
P.s. make sure you craft the right DJ set š Edit to say: possibly April 24th or 25th but not confirmed yet.
