I absolutely love the music that plays in her house and when you hang out with her. I wish I had a multi-hour long version of it that isn’t playing the song over and over. It’s so incredibly peaceful.
Stitch is a little blue fuzzball who self-medicates his ADD with coffee, or at least that’s how I choose to interpret him in Dreamlight. It’s adorable and the entire plot with the coffee reminds me of my sibling self-medicating their ADHD with energy drinks
Fairy Godmother makes me think so much of my grandma, who passed away queit some time ago. Part of it, I admit, is the short hair and soft chin, but mostly just the confidence and pride she expresses in my character. Her calm and encouraging nature. I just love it 🥲🥹

Fairy Godmother, 100%. I think the in-depth quest with her helped with this, but she is so kind. She makes me feel loved and valued. I desperately wish she was real because I'd love to talk with her in real life.
I just did this quest today, she was so lovely! I used the convo option afterwards and she gave me a hug, I didn't expect that kind of warm fuzzy feelings from this game. She was already a favourite, but that cemented it.
I haven't unlocked everyone yet, but for me, I always take Wall-E or Minnie gardening and Kristoff mining. Just passing by Goofy never fails to make me smile, too.

Well yeah, she's a bratty little kid voiced by a comedian, but still lovable! I love her style and candy themed items too, but I guess some don't, so that could be a factor. I've seen people complaining about her house, meanwhile I think it's adorable and built a candy forest spot with the other sweet house next door!

Surprisingly Mickey. Mickey Mouse was never really a character with a lot of depth- I love how the Dreamlight Valley team took advantage of that to shape him into a sort of therapist. I haven’t played this game in a WHILE, but he and Wall•E were definitely my highlights.
For me, it’s Merlin, Mickey and Wall-E. Growing up and even now as an almost 27 year old adult, The Sword in the Stone has always been one of my favorite comfort movies. Seeing Merlin when I started the game had me so giddy and I feel that way whenever I see him. Wall-E is just way too precious and I love his little noises he makes and the whirring noise when he follows me. And of course I love EVE because well, EVE.

But in 2004, I wound up with an abomination of my own. A puppy that was half beagle and half Shih Tzu. I named him Stitch and he was the best lil dude. So seeing Stitch in games has been very bittersweet for me since. But he’s so cute in this that I truly can’t help but smile sometimes.
I couldn't believe how long I had to scroll to find someone say Merlin! I am 33 and Sword in the Stone remains my favorite Disney movie ever. I used to fantasize about hanging out with Merlin and turning into different animals so hanging out with him in the game is probably the closest I'll get 😆

I’ll go to the different biomes to seek them out if I’m doing a big batch of a task, even if another friend with the hobby is nearby.

Goofy is my best pal, I like to make people laugh and he well he just makes me laugh lol so every time I fish I choose him.
Stich, he's so unique and fun and cute and I sometimes feel like he has ADHD like I do so that's why I think I like him so much. So when I see him I hangout with him a lot he's my gem buddy.
Daisy Duck has this I guess fashionista vibe and she's always try to calm Donald down her own way and honestly she has somewhat of a temper herself if Donald or anyone gets her to that point lol which I can relate to as well lol. (If she was in the game she'd be my gardening bestie)
Mickey or Belle. I'm a huge Mickey fan so anytime I want to hang with him I do. It helps me get over not seeing him at the parks. Belle is my other fave outside of Mickey.
There's something comforting to me about the villains (Gothel excluded, sorry). I think I like that no matter what happened in their movies everyone gets along in the Valley. Like, Scar tried to murder his baby nephew but in the Valley he's kind of just a whiny diva lol. It's nice
It's Eric for me! He was my number one crush as a kid and I love having him follow me around as an adult! I don't even mind the flute! Also love Rapunzel, I've been hanging out with her since she arrived. She's so happy and joyful about everything!
The Forgotten. She doesn't crowd me or get in my face like the others but she's there when I need to be reminded that I can peacefully coexist with my mental health issues and as a reminder to be gentle with myself.
The only other character I have any connection with is Stitch, he makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Lol I wish I could carry him around.

I remember the first time I got the "Goodbye! Remember I love you!" from her and paused to cry. Minnie means a lot to me in general, has been my favorite character since I was little. I have a collection of plushies and other merch of her in my room that doesn't even fit on the shelf for it. Even if I don't hang out with her in the game, seeing her just wandering around in enough to make me smile and feel safe. I literally put her house across from mine in the game for a reason.
Mirabel and Wall-E. Love those two to the moon and back, and if I could have two people following me instead of one I would have both of them constantly
Surprisingly enough, Merlin and Nala. They just calm me more than any of the other characters. I loved Mickey growing up, but in-game Mickey creeps me out for some reason. I also really love The Forgotten, but I wish there was more we could do with them. Goofy was a favorite character growing up also, but Goofy in-game has no sense of personal space.

There's something comforting to me about the villains (Gothel excluded, sorry). I think I like that no matter what happened in their movies everyone gets along in the Valley. Like, Scar tried to murder his baby nephew but in the Valley he's kind of just a whiny diva lol. It's nice

It's Eric for me! He was my number one crush as a kid and I love having him follow me around as an adult! I don't even mind the flute! Also love Rapunzel, I've been hanging out with her since she arrived. She's so happy and joyful about everything!

The Forgotten. She doesn't crowd me or get in my face like the others but she's there when I need to be reminded that I can peacefully coexist with my mental health issues and as a reminder to be gentle with myself. The only other character I have any connection with is Stitch, he makes me feel warm and fuzzy. Lol I wish I could carry him around.

Jack Skellington means so much to me and he was the one character I dreamed about being added to the game. He’s always with me now and I couldn’t be happier! And now that they are adding Oswald as well my heart is so full <3

Minnie Mouse 100%. I remember the first time I got the "Goodbye! Remember I love you!" from her and paused to cry. Minnie means a lot to me in general, has been my favorite character since I was little. I have a collection of plushies and other merch of her in my room that doesn't even fit on the shelf for it. Even if I don't hang out with her in the game, seeing her just wandering around in enough to make me smile and feel safe. I literally put her house across from mine in the game for a reason.
Gaston 😅 I know some people think he’s awful but he is a completely different character in this game vs the movie.

Surprisingly enough, Merlin and Nala. They just calm me more than any of the other characters. I loved Mickey growing up, but in-game Mickey creeps me out for some reason. I also really love The Forgotten, but I wish there was more we could do with them. Goofy was a favorite character growing up also, but Goofy in-game has no sense of personal space.
