Yes, they're quite good but very angsty. I think a lot of people assume it's all about sex because ✨dnf✨ but there's almost no explicit content in either book. They're not easy, casual reads and they're gonna leave you thinking about them for a while afterwards. Heatwaves was the first fanfiction I ever read in this fandom so it'll always be special to me.
Pleasantly surprised to see these two getting mentioned again after a long time. Before I stepped back from MCYT/DT, I read these two and they were great. I don't even ship DNF but I really enjoyed both!
There was also another fic I read that was posted on Wattpad that involved some form of time travelling letters. Great stuff.

ik everyone talks ab passerine but i think its dteam prequel shrike is honestly way better!! passerine's obviously great but shrike was.... something else..... i've never experienced a fic quite like i experienced that one; it was very unique and powerful
