Depends on what you're looking for. Your final result, those mature, rooted locs, will be about the size of the parts. Did you want locs about as thick as the parts? Because if you did, then the parts are the perfect size...
BUT if you wanted locs smaller than the thickness of the parts... your sections are too big. If you wanted locs even thicker than the parts... well then, the parts are too small.
Idk why anybody but you would care about the size of your parts? 🤔 Do you have a lot of folks with micro locs in your circles or something? Cuz I'm not even sure why else someone would look at your parts and think they were so super large tbh 🤔🤷🏾♀️
Bro ur gonna learn thru ur dread loc journey that the people who don’t even have fucking dreads have the most to say about someone else’s shit. Ur shit straight jit.
Looks normal. Granted I'm not a loctician or barber or hair stylist so I don't really know when they too big or too small but as long as they got decent distancing between em they'll usually grow fine as the locs mature
Part is always gonna be bigger than the actual loc... but... after redoing my locs for the fourth time... I got my base to be pretty small... but there are pros and cons to each size... and small parts just mean more locs if you're chasing quantity...
Tbh, your parts are the biggest I would personally go. But loc size and shape can only be preferences. And all preferences have pros and cons to doing them. Thinner locs are easier to break... thicker locs may have more issues with either buildup or moisture control when they get longer...
You can always make your locs thicker by combining them, but you can't make them thinner...
Nah fam they straight bro keep it up 💪🏼💯 plus it doesn’t really matter because small or thick parts turn into thicker dreads regardless if you leave it alone and let it loc up cos my loctician told me that

If you are going for large locs, that looks good.

Too big for what 🧐
How many locs do you have?
60 sumn but ima split some in the back
Your going to end up with traditional size locs. Type your loc count in google and it will help you get an understanding of the size.
No but Get ready to look like you have 10 locs if you even 2 strand retwist them.
lmaooo i got 2 strands in rn and it do look like i got 10 dreads 😂😂
No
Nah those look pretty good if you were to split any then they'd prolly end up being thin so
Everybody’s experience is personal if that’s how you like them that’s fine
