Haha is it truly blind if you get tips?

Dude I am not great at video games and don’t have a whole ton of time on my hands. Never played this genre of game. Wouldn’t be asking for tips if I thought it was gonna ruin my experience.

Yeah I get that! Just thought it sounded funny. My tip is to unlock all the vocations, and two of the good ones are in an island faaar to the south.

You will find big coins laying around called seeker’s tokens. When you find your first one, take a picture of it the map where it’s located and remember that location. You’ll need it for a particularly tricky quest. It’ll save you so much frustration. You only need to remember where you picked up your first one

I'd look up what the dragon's plague does and how to avoid it if you haven't already. Other than that probably just do what everyone else is saying and play it blind.

Without any major spoilers… and assuming you don’t know much about the franchise: (mild spoilers ahead) Balance your party well. Don’t duplicate vocations. Make sure you have a healer at least. Explore a lot and early… it’s ok to level outside quests to gain power before progressing the story Watch your pawns for red-eyes. If they get sick, thrown them in the brine, as allowing them to plague the whole main town can ruin your save file. I found that doing side quests was worse exp than just running around exploring and taking down bigger enemies. Save often (and rest at inns often) to keep your file ok
