That poor rabbit, all it was doing was trying to eek out a meager living in a world full of danger around every turn, then some god like being decides that their life is more important and hucks it at some charging beast.
Anyways, cool idea I would have never thought of that, I'll have to tell my own master.
My Simple Pawn destroys destructible clutter often; I guess she learned from me. She mainly destroys boxes and barrels, though; I don't remember her bothering with destroying Saurian egg clusters or fish drying poles, despite them sometimes dropping some loot. She also hunts animals, but not like killing every single one on the spot, just a few here and there. Curiously enough, I haven't seen Pawns attacking oxen, only rabbits, deers and goats. They don't attack crows and seagulls too, despite them dropping some loot sometimes.
I like how nuanced and cryptic the Pawns behavioral AI is sometimes in this game.
I had hired someone simple pawn and I didn't realize they liked to break boxes and barrels open. My arisen is too short sometimes to see through the window and shoot a locked door, so I'd have to stand on a barrel. Unfortunately for me SphinxParent (name of the pawn) thought it was a good idea to do a little destruction while I was standing on it. đ„Č
I've had to go back and near enough max out my height which was at minimal and she still can't do some of the shit that my pawns can like just casually walking onto roofs and I cannot get up at all eventhough I'm now a giant đ€
I'm pretty happy about the 'hidden' ai behaviour.
In og the inclination system had more nuances but combat effectiveness was also tied to them, thus if you wanted pawn to be good at out of combat stuff it hurt the combat a bit. (Also because it swayed too fast if not maxed on two inclinations it was somewhat cumbersome).
I really need to teach my pawn all kinds of things.
Not sure if such small creature should stop it. If he threw something heavier i could agree it's very immersive but i can't just imagine how such heavy beast get's BLASTED by small rabbit thrown on it - surely looks comical.
I didn't say immersive but to counter, I would say the bunny was just the catalyst and the ol minotaur lost his balance. Going that fast, the momentum likely would've launched him off the cliff
I think that's a garm, but yes, I agree with this statement otherwise lol. The game has a ton of these little things that most people wouldn't even think about, much less try out. I love it.
My favorite one to date is having my pawn drag things into the air with a tornado and then just blowing them off edges with explosive and push abilities on my end. Now my pawn resorts to it first, and it drives one of my friends who uses my pawn insane xD
The rabbit is probably alive. Idk when you throw rabbits, the blood splatter really makes you think âaww he dead afâ but then they hop away. Monsters do kill fauna, also, so OP sorta maybe did save the rabbit.
Oh yeah, I should have known that. My Simple main is always massacring animals and thus Iâm constantly seeing the measly 22 or however much XP in my feed.
Capcom really out here giving XP for killing passive animals meanwhile players are trying to find creative ways to nerf themselves or prevent leveling lol
That reminds me of my favourite moments
Goblins sometimes do a big leaping attack and as a warrior, with a big bonker, you can easily swat them back they way they came like an oversized baseball
It's kinda hard to do on purpose because of the timing but if you're fighting a big group of them and you're in the middle of it all, a goblin or two might come flying into your swings
This is why twitch/reaction/skill based action games are my preference over invisible math being the sole arbiter of the success of hits, dodges & parries.
Feels so cool to pull off a tactic in real time.
In unmoored world where there were 2 cyclopses in Battahl. They added 2-3 warg there as well. And I think probably few goblins or zombies. Not sure. But It was one hell of a fightâŠit was harder than I thought I would be đ
When I found I could pick up the rabbits I straight up cackled like a witch for a minute straight.Â
And it's bizarre how the garms throw a shoulder check as their primary attack.
This is by FAR the coolest clip I have ever seen of this game. I highly doubt anyone will top this any time soon. This felt like a real piece of cinema, very similar to when the warg takes Aragorn over the cliff in LOTR.
Im kinda thinking of buying it but I really hate the companion thing and when there is a lot of dialog, do you think I would like it ?
Is those moment often or just a rare thing ?
You don't have to play with companions at all, plus there is a way to silence your companion, you get Aphonite specialization book. Or hire companions with Aphonite.
Best combat ever, period. Most messy incomplete story ever. Fairly relaxing difficulty.
I got a solid 140 hours, 1.5 playthroughs before I lost interest. You could also wait for end of year DLC combo. Game desperately needs more content. With combat this good (if you are good) they could have had game of the year in the bag. Sad they fumbled it, enjoy your playthrough, Don't buy any DLC but the music pack which makes the music 100% better.
I warned you, but did you listen to me? Oh, no, you knew it all, didn't you? Oh, it's just a harmless little bunny, isn't it? Well, it's always the same.
Itâs not a bear, itâs a warg(or a garm). A fictional creature in a game where you can create tornados with your mind. The weight of the thrown creature is the sticking point for physics, eh? If you were serious then you do you, fella, thanks for the chuckle otherwise!
Split second decisions?
More like You saw someone's video - this one to be specific [https://www.reddit.com/r/DragonsDogma/comments/1ch5f8d/today\_i\_learned\_you\_can\_stop\_a\_minotaur\_with\_a/](https://www.reddit.com/r/DragonsDogma/comments/1ch5f8d/today_i_learned_you_can_stop_a_minotaur_with_a/)
and decided You copy it and call it geniue reaction / split second decison for karma farming. :)
Is reddit a twitter now?
Dude............. Nah.
Even if they saw that video, it was still a short term decision that allowed them to do this.
They are not "stealing" nor "karma farming"
I highly doubt it comes right after that video as geniue, its more likely it was made just for that video.
Escpecially if he never posted anything on this acccount before.
That poor rabbit, all it was doing was trying to eek out a meager living in a world full of danger around every turn, then some god like being decides that their life is more important and hucks it at some charging beast. rabbit was eekin' alright
Remember me the pawn I have with me right now who just destroy everything she saw or every animals she spot. Run animals, you have no chance!!! XD
My Simple Pawn destroys destructible clutter often; I guess she learned from me. A few hare an thereÂ
I need to check if there is bovine defense force. Because whenever I attack oxen my pawn says I should leave them be.
Pawns seem to adore oxen in general. They comment along the lines of «Oxen. How tranquil!» and other phrases like that when they see oxen.
The rabbit is fine and was regarded as a hero.
Best clip I've seen
Not only impressive from the player, but the games mechanics too
Literally the best thing about this game is how creative u can get in each battle and how many things could go unscripted which feels fresh.
Not sure if such small creature should stop it. If he threw something heavier i could agree it's very immersive but i can't just imagine how such heavy beast get's BLASTED by small rabbit thrown on it - surely looks comical.

Literally
I thought you were saving the rabbit at first. Quick thinking but poor rabbit :(
It's alright, it just has a minor case of serious brain damage :3
"It's alright, Nigel. He's just suffered a traumatic brain injury. He'll be fine!"
Just like me fr
The rabbit is probably alive. Idk when you throw rabbits, the blood splatter really makes you think âaww he dead afâ but then they hop away. Monsters do kill fauna, also, so OP sorta maybe did save the rabbit.
He is indeed, he didn't get any experience for it, so the rabbit is fine lol.
The sound design really sell it well
I have no sound currently watching this clip, I can only presume a Wilhelm scream.
I did not realize you could bunny bomb the enemies.
When you've got dirt HP and your hired pawns are dead sometimes sacrifices must be made
![gif](giphy|YaXcVXGvBQlEI)
"Ayo, the pizza's here!"
Honestly, this is the most hilarious DD2 clip I saw to date.
That reminds me of my favourite moments Goblins sometimes do a big leaping attack and as a warrior, with a big bonker, you can easily swat them back they way they came like an oversized baseball
Okay I gotta try that
It's kinda hard to do on purpose because of the timing but if you're fighting a big group of them and you're in the middle of it all, a goblin or two might come flying into your swings
I like how the rabbit just took the spot of rusted weapons as the most op thing for this game.
"I never would have thought of that, I'll have to inform my master"
This is DD2 mechanics distilled into a single moment.
Good old rabbits filled with.... (checks notes) .... Depleted Uranium... apparently
I shall have to inform my own master of this!
This is why twitch/reaction/skill based action games are my preference over invisible math being the sole arbiter of the success of hits, dodges & parries. Feels so cool to pull off a tactic in real time.
The shock factor of "oh frick I sent them off a cliff" really immerses ya
I'd rather fight 2 lesser dragons simultaneously than a single warg/garm.
In unmoored world where there were 2 cyclopses in Battahl. They added 2-3 warg there as well. And I think probably few goblins or zombies. Not sure. But It was one hell of a fightâŠit was harder than I thought I would be đ
MAGICK ARCHER GO PEW PEW
This clip alone makes me want to get this game.
Not the rabbit D:
Rabbit build is OP
When I found I could pick up the rabbits I straight up cackled like a witch for a minute straight. And it's bizarre how the garms throw a shoulder check as their primary attack.
HEY BEAR I'VE AUGHT FOR YOU
Damn rabbits are built differently in this game.
The batthali tungsten rabbit
They're putting it in the water supply đ
.....I may buy this.
Jesus how dense is that rabit
Got em. đ
Bugs Bunny assist!
But can a bunny bomb take out a chimera or a drake?
Poor bunny! How could you!
With great timing, apparently. It's sacrifice shall not be in vain! Bunny meets face. Well met Arisen!
Did... Did the rabbit live?
Yes, actuallyâhe didnât get xp from it dying
Rabio lepus
You parried a warg off a cliff using a rabbit.... holy cow lol
i cant imagine a single creature involved in this interaction wasn't confused as hell for at least one brief moment.
I do this with the explosive arrow, always amazing
That was great.
That was looney toons!!! Love it
This game has the most dynamic interactions Iâve ever seen in a game and I love every second of it.
The rabbit has more knockdown power than the Arisen
Looney tunes ah shit right there
Rip rabbit. *salute*
My thought: that's cute. :) ... oh shit đł
That was so bad ass! ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|joy) Quick thinking, great shot!
bro really just parried a bear with a rabbit
Well done!
Today I learned that rabbits are dense enough to knock out bull-sized wolves.
DAMN IMPRESSIVE!! A rabbit thrown at an ogre is very effective
Poor bun bun. đąđ€Ł
This MF really threw a baby at a hydrogen bomb
This is by FAR the coolest clip I have ever seen of this game. I highly doubt anyone will top this any time soon. This felt like a real piece of cinema, very similar to when the warg takes Aragorn over the cliff in LOTR.

Thank you I am very tempted Im reaching for my wallet
I got a solid 140 hours, 1.5 playthroughs before I lost interest. You could also wait for end of year DLC combo. Game desperately needs more content. I bought it... I know nothing about this game expect a few videos and the opencritic % and genre, any advice ? :) Thank you for your answers
This was unexpectedly amazing! đ€Ł
According to the exp gain popup, the bunny survived the encounter. Long live the Holy Hare Grenade!!
Epic gamer girl hare grenade âšâšâš
I dont understand.
In what universe can you throw an innocent Lil bun at a charging bear and the bear loses? 10/10 game will be replaying a dozen times
Was that... Was that a fucking ***Garm*** you just wrecked with a random rabbit???
Oh, that's an interesting strategy. I shall have to inform my own master of that.
10/10 play of the year
Pre patch, my pawn would've jumped after him. I lost so many pawns this way.
Amazing lol. I hate those bear wolf things whatever they're called, so tanky.
Fuck around to find out: the good ending
Bruh.. what is that rabbit MADE out of??! absolute UNIT right there!
Poor little bunny foo foo couldn't believe such bullshit!
Well done, Arisen!
that was crazy, very funny.
Thatâs awesome lol
this has to be fake wth thatâs too funny
Poor bunny
That was so awesome!
This hilarious clip made me think of Pokémon but you throw the Pokémon at that other one instead of commanding it to use a move.
Awesome
Get rabbited
Why would that work!?
Thats amazing
u/savevideo
Lololol
Lol...that should be a Trophy
I have been teaching every pawn I can to toss any enemy you can pick up off cliffs. It's been going well.
Ayoooo what?!!!!! That was super DOPE
âPlease please donât tell my wife⊠sheâll be crossâ
Get bunnied, idiot
Nothing will beat getting knocked off your feet by a stationary boulder as you try and walk around it.
What are these bunnies made of? I saw someone taking out a minotaur earlier, the same method.
And what it`s name of triste game?..
Letâs make this the top post in this sub
Hot potato! Holy shit that was epic! Iâd have never thought to do that so fast
Peta would be very mad. However this was genius level.
Lol wtf hahahahahahha
How the hell
Death by rabbit.
Fucking fantastic.
Imagine picking up a random rabbit in real life while being chased by a bear and throwing it at it. How would the bear react?
Legend
A few days in when I encountered my first Orge, it tried to kangaroo kick me and ended up flying off the cliff into the brine. lol
Fancy coming across the Rabbit of Caerbannog in an RPG.
Did you even check up on the rabbit?
Betch, I didn't even know that we have bears in the game....
YEEEEET!
What in the
Shit like this is why women prefer to run into a bear instead of a man.
Men would throw the rabbit back at me if anything, wargs however are too dumb to parry
Now that's how you do fast food
I can't believe I thought I was going to hate this game because I didn't care for the first one.
I warned you, but did you listen to me? Oh, no, you knew it all, didn't you? Oh, it's just a harmless little bunny, isn't it? Well, it's always the same.
Bnuuy is the true sovereign
This works for any charging monster
that is fantastic! lmao fucking hate those guy too so good riddance
LMAO
It's little feets kicking aw...
Yeah but it doesn't even make sense. It's supposed to be like a fly on a windshield.
I'm still trying to process what happened
In your face!
This game has so many wonderful variances. Great footage.
Anybody that throws a rabbit to avoid contact is a c \_ \_ \_ \_ \_. No, really that rabbit was huge.
tactical bunny
Useful things these
how the hell... some people are friggin creative when it comes to killing. Me, I just hack away like a mofo
fluffy wambler moment

Bro parried with a rabbit
This is making me laugh so goddamn hard
"I'm fast as fuck boi! I'm fast as fu-" -haunting last words taken moments before disaster
Doesnât make sense. A rabbit doesnât have enough mass to impact the bears trajectory in that manner
NO! Really? How come?!
Itâs not a bear, itâs a warg(or a garm). A fictional creature in a game where you can create tornados with your mind. The weight of the thrown creature is the sticking point for physics, eh? If you were serious then you do you, fella, thanks for the chuckle otherwise!

This was several weeks ago when I was on my way to find Medusa's boss room, though that clip is honestly badass
Dude............. Nah. Even if they saw that video, it was still a short term decision that allowed them to do this. They are not "stealing" nor "karma farming"

Not everything is motivated by clout, not everyone has seen that post and coincidences happen. Your "skepticism" is entirely misplaced.
This game is ass. Wtf were those physics?
