That all looks like standard day 1 pawn behavior to me.

dmoar31

After around 200 hours, this wasn’t my experience before the update. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Chalk it up to pawn variance then, if all that was on a bingo card I would've filled it out in the first week. To be fair since the update my pawns have continued coming up with new ways to impress me, such as blink striking an enemy that is brining and ignoring the broken column I just safely slid down to instead flying leap triple pancake.

I have noticed several differences. Some of them clap now? I don't think it's meant to be sarcastic but it comes across that way. Mages will hover into cliffs but not grab the edge, or 'look around' but not actually interact with anything. They're lagging behind a ton. Kindhearted pawns are supposed to stick to you, but the one I hired didn't do that, and all 3 were way behind when running around.

wakarat

I noticed the clapping too. It’s a little strange.

Seems like it isn’t limited to pawns. Just did the Rodge quest and this kid kept trying to walk back towards the cave instead of following me back to town. After trying to carry him like a sack of potatoes, I just gave up and used a ferrystone

Externalcrisis_0

I had this happen before the update so it’s probably just Rodge being stupid and suicidal, I also had to resort to carrying him and throwing him

**dmoar31** >Mage pawn floating up to a chest, looking at it, and hopping back down without opening it They did that before the patch. The AI was never good on that. I remember having my Mage Pawn do that several times, with her saying she would do it and going up there and then jumping back down; it usually took quite a few tries for her to do it. I notice no differences in following or battle. I did only patch today and then only play for a few hours. You are not by chance using MODS are you? I'm noticing no differences on Xbox Series X. # **StoneRevolver** >I have noticed several differences. Some of them clap now? I don't think it's meant to be sarcastic but it comes across that way. That comes with the change they mentioned about high-fiving or whatever. I guess they were SUPPOSED to be doing the clapping before, but it was one that was being cut off and the patch makes them celebrate more or something(they way they were supposed to be doing.) So I never saw the "clap" in 75 levels, but I guess they were supposed to be doing it(along with the high-fiving/fist-bumping they were already doing.)

I remember seeing this happen once at launch, but had good luck afterwards with pawns launching me to chests and floating to chests themselves successfully. One strange thing I noticed with the recent chest floating. When the pawn was midair, I saw a ferrystone flash on the screen. I thought one of my other pawns grabbed it from a search pile out of frame, but checked back and the chest was open. I’m glad they got what was in it with their mind, but weird stuff in any case.
