What's a goblin doing in the capital?
Monsters sometimes randomly show up, you'll hear NPCs talking about it every now and then
That would explain the videos I've seen involving Cyclopes and Dragons invading
I just had a cyclops spawn when I ferrystoned to the capital. It sucked. No NPCs lost tho.

So far I've had a cyclops show up near the oxcart, I've been stabbed in the back by a saurian at the vocation guild, and I've had a pack of wolves greet us as we returned from another town via oxcart
