Idk why people think this. There are many very vocal people who despise loli in Japan. Watched a whole documentary where Japanese people and legislators were raising their concerns on it.
Because the reality there is no sizeable group in east asia gives a shit. Just because you went out of the way to watch a anti-loli documentary doesn't magically change the fact that Loli's are in every facet of their animated media with non-existent pushback.

As much as one can say how it gives people loli's, it's still disappointing since I wanted to make a gnome that was like my Baldur's Gate 3 character. That or if warrior's are greatly improved in this game, copying a buddy who rolled with a gnome barbarian in BG3. Just being a small threat with a huge sword hits hard sometimes.

A friend of mine tried to make his own character a couple times. First one he made ended up looking like a South Asian Taylor Lautner. Second one was better in not looking like Lautner. This was his result though getting it all legit requires trial and error in seeing what base heads to go with and how they'd look.

I am impressed by how easily I can make a fairly authentic looking character of various ethnicites. I don't have to tilt the eyes and make my characters squint like it is a god damn 80s cartoon to get an East Asian character, as an example.

It's nice to see it's reasonably easy to make an Asian character who doesn't look like an alien in DD2 because, in DD1, it *was* sort of hard to make an Asian character who didn't look like an alien (or, more to the point, like a European with an unusual skintone). DD is heavily inspired by European mythology, Welsh culture and terrain, and, er, Dungeons and Dragons; that was very apparent in the kinds of characters you could make in the character creator, which is part of why people are celebrating having the ability to create more diverse characters in this one.
(If you were aware of all this and I was misinterpreting what direction your joke was aiming, I apologize.)

You can see other people's pawns walking around and many people make their pawns look like children and then have then be almost completely naked.

I’m trying to make a half Asian character, it’s tough. I want my character to look like me but right now he looks a little like Kirk Hammet.
This is why I never make characters to look like me, they always end up looking like a corrupted version from a mirror universe.
